Greenport Nae looks flush for a beat "Sorry, that favor thing was just me thinking aloud... didnt even realize i said it." She pauses thinking for a moment "I dont hail from anywhere particularly, II spent my first 4 years with my mom and it felt like we traveled to a new town once every couple months... I might have been here once, though i dont really remember. When i was 5 my mom got taken... I thought i saw her die, but i recently discovered she is still out there. Since I lost my mom...Ive just followed the same thing of not being in one place too long, mainly ive lived off the streets, but there has been nice people or nice inn keeps with a spare room from time to time. For the last week I practically lived out of a barrel on a ship trying to arrive here." She looks down at the corpse of the creature "And i still really dont know why I am here yet, but it seems i will have a favor to return" She looks again to the searing palm of her hand where the sickly green blast originally produced. "Though first, lets get some grub and then some rest. Maybe you can tell me a bit of the area and yourself over something to eat."
Looking up at the moonlight, Dordis takes a moment to think, maybe coming this far away from Faksimile was a bad idea— Eventually, Dordis stood up and picked up his belongings and heads towards the nearest household or farm he can find, provided, his understanding of what a farm looks is what he thinks it is(a middle-class abode with slaves working to tend to their produce)
Noldeme hears Nae's story and gives a sympathetic smile at hearing about her loss and her discovery of new hope. As she finishes, Noldeme nods to her and responds. "Yeah, sure. I've been climbing up a mountain today and I still haven't been eating much." And so, she leads the drow to the place the Aasimar grew most used to staying between the many ship travels she's done in her time.
Orina nods, biting her lip. "I'll try to be more respectful if he comes back, but still... you only get one chance to make a first impression, and asking permission to beat up the newbie was not the way to do it!" She turns ot GrrGrrFrr and asks, "Are you ok? I'm thinking we might want to leave sooner rather than later in case this Mr. Winter comes back and feels more urgent about his business and his request turns into a demand."
She turns and packs up her things, offering to help Jogs and GrrGrrFrr if they need it. When everyone's ready to leave, Orina shoulders her pack and sets out at a brisk, but comfortable pace for the forest near the Macgullicksons' farm.
Leshanna: Nick seems suprised to see you "Oh- Hello, yes The Duke, you say? Well, I've heard that he is well respected by his people, but he is also a Head Caretaker. I don't like talking about those folks, you never know if one of their own could be sitting right next to you. Rumor has it that in that city, people are unlawfully prosecuted since Head Caretakers can act as judge, jury, and executioner for people they deem as criminals. There's no good way to pin it on any one of them, but since the Duke is considered the acting king, I suppose most actions they take would have had to gone through him at some point. The thing is, who would even risk putting a bounty on his head is the real question? You would draw the ire of The Caretakers, land traders, and probably even One in Gold. Whoever has the baubles to ask you that in a public certainly must have no fear, and can probably back up his hit. However, it's probably not the worst for your reputation, after all, hate the Hitter not the Hitman, and if you can make him confess to crimes you'd be renown...and it would make people a lot more intrested in sea trade."
Yaw: "I suppose so." Rattles says. "Wonder what are team name would be..." he rambles on a bit about clever names involving water and poison while you walk. "Erm, howdy and good evening," Dordis catches himself and realizes his Faksimile accent may sound different to other folk, and then continues while clearing his throat, "I see as though both of you are traveling together, I presume? In which case, are you also heading towards Corvidae?" He says in an indifferent yet soft and cautious tone befitting a pragmatic person as himself, "I am planning on heading there to investigate a matter. If you are willing to take me with you if you are heading to Corvidae, I can be of help." Dordis pats off some dust on his green robes, trying to keep his well-mannered composure intact.
