Noldeme gives a light smile hearing Nae's goals. "I dunno. I think you're asking too much of me. My passion is doing what I do, I love my job, and I do it for fun. As for goals? Didn't I say I considered myself ambitious for climbing up a mountain? Yeah, basically that sums me up pretty well... I don't really need much to be happy, so I already am happy, y'know? No grand objective for me." She explains, before turning her attention to Nae's last question. "I wasn't gonna mention, but I do feel the same way about you. You look familiar. Although you're not really the first to trigger that on me, it just kinda happens from time-to-time."
Nae gives a puzzled look for a solid moment, then cracks a big smile "Well, theres a goal, find out why theres some strange connection. I think everyone has to have something to work towards." She leans back and takes a long sip of her drink "See, Ive got 3 goals now. That one i just mentioned, Finding my mom, And returning whatever favors that i need to return for these new... abilities I have." Nae raises a finger for each thing she lists off. "And, as it seems i may be in over my head, I may need assistance towards some of those goals."

Dordis iis rather unsure of what to make of his situation. This tawny pale skinned figure in green robes with a blue undertunic, a beige backpack, along with green and straight brown hair with a quarterstaff strapped on his sturdy leather belt and finally a pendant with a blue star with dulled silver tries to compose himself, however, his posture is clearly hiding his cautious nature. He grips his blue star pendant, and then says, "Well, I can give aid in knowledge of Corvidae. I can also bring some help in terms of arcana," It is clear by his tone that he wishes to get to Corvidae in one piece, and he does seem to know enough of Corvidae to provide information, "though, might I ask what your name might be?" Dordis patiently waits for a reply as he writes a few notes in his leatherback notebook.

"Well, maybe I'm also selling myself a little short. There's one thing I have to do, which I guess is kind of a goal. I'll be heading to Corvidae tomorrow with Captain Deadeye. There's this thing I discovered on top of the mountain that I'm having to explore now."Noldeme explains, still leaving almost all the details pretty vague. "If you want my help, you may be forced on this trip with me since it's really important that I do that, but once that's done, I can head towards your path as well. Say, I saw you using a few spells, are you a wizard of some kind?"
“Well I’d be happy to help you out, I’m still new around here so I will need the help so I’d be happy to assist you as well in your trails.” She stumbles for a minute at the second question and chuckles nervously whilst she rubs the back of her neck “I, uh, not exactly...” She halts for a minute before bluntly blurting out ”I made a deal with some kind of trickster archfey because he said he knew the location of my mother and would give it to me if we forged a deal. A favor for a favor as he put it... So now I’m on this quest to do some deeds for him so I can find my mother. This was the first location I was told to go. Noldeme & Nae: As you are talking, a human man in an aprint with wide eyes and a grimace on his face is carrying a plate in each hand. "Ho- Hottt, Hot plates, oof ouch." he quickly sets them down before shaking his hands to relieve the pain. "Here you are enjoy!" Despite looking human he seems suspiciously owl-like in appearance, just something about the way his face looks. He is about to head back into the kitchen, before looking back at Noldeme (you swear you see his head turn all the way round, if just for an instant, before his body does) "Wait, Noldeme, that's you isn't it? It's been a while, hasn't it, and you've brought a friend. Ms. Finds said she saw you around earlier, what've you been up to?" Noldeme recognizes this person as Hoover, he handles the night shift here.
Nae, as you are talking, your butterfly must've crawled out from wherever you were keeping it, and has landed on Noldeme. This is quite peculiar, as it usually doesn't like strangers much.

Buck: You wobble off the ship, finally arriving at Blackport. Quite the untapped oppurtunity for entertainers and adventurers alike, anyone who is willing to navigate the dangers of this place is certain to be rewarded. What do you do?
Tower Base:
Xamodas: The man refuses the rations. "I know you are strange folk, but you cannot survive without food or water. If you are expecting someone to go in after you, you may be mistaken. Though the first obstacle is simple, it is also the most taxing, and deceptively dangerous; do not say I did not warn you. May heaven grant you fortune."

Buck had his meager belongings gathered and on his back hours before the ship pulled into port. Finding a spot on the deck but out of the way of the bustling sailors, Buck played a soothing tune on his flute as the ship made its way to the dock. As he walks down the dock, Buck is looking around taking in his surroundings.

"That is not how this works." Leshanna says with a shake of her head. "The information can be part of the payment, that is fine, but you will need to tell me more about this artifact, especially since I doubt if gaining it is as easy as walking in and grabbing it." She shrugs. "Then the rest of the payment needs to be based on how much you want this done. You tell me what it is worth to you, with the information about this artifact only a small part of that price as a given." She holds the man's eyes for a long moment. "Also I will need an up-front payment before I begin this work."

Dordis lashes out at himself for forgetting such a small detail in a mutter, and writes it down in a notebook. He composes himself once again, this time with a sigh of relief, and says, "Ah, indeed. Well, in exchange for being open to allowing me travel with both of you, I will lend my aid to your investigation, provided I get my own time to deal with my own matter as well." He takes a moment to study both of them and continues, "I believe you travel with a man of faith in shield and weapon? I suppose that answers much of my questions as to how much trust I will put. However, can I atleast have an answer in whether any of you have gone to Corvidae once before?" Dordis gives a hint of trust when he mentions the paladin, and seems to be more at ease compared to before. Dordis takes account of his belongings in his backpack as he waits.

Noldeme looks to the familiar face of Hoover and responds. "Yeah... Great to meet you again, it's part of the reason I chose to bring her here of all places. As for me, y'know, I've had these long weeks of traveling, and then when I came back I heard of a problem going up on the mountains and I decided to go investigate." She looks at the butterfly, slightly confused since she hadn't seen many people with pet butterflies before, and this one could apparently understand Nae (?). She just hands the insect back, trying to be gentle about it.
Xamodas eyes the old man, slowly tying the rations back up in the napkin before stuffing it back into his bag. They have a saying, don't they? About beggars? He stifles the irritation once again. There was more to him. What would a decrepit old beggar know of the trials inside? How would he know such a thing?
There is a long pause as the gith straightens up, mindless of his own poverty and rich in self-confidence. He would get no further answers here, he could tell. He had no recourse, no means of compelling the truth from such a person. Threatening violence, even if he could get away with it in the middle of town, was not likely to persuade a man who was half-dead anyway.
He merely nods, then. He turns, and crosses the threshold.

Zacharias clucks his tongue. "Nonsense, I am Zacharias. Ilmater tells me you are trustworthy, and so I shall do just that: trust you. If my traveling companion wishes to keep his name quiet, I will not give away his secret. We will call him ... Al. And, as far as what line of work I am in, I am a missionary in service to Ilmater, the crying god, the lord of the rack, the one who endures," the human says, his voice filling with reverence. "I am recently recruited as a member of Rosebush, but a missionary I remain." He looks at Connor. "How much further to Corvidae?" And back to Dordis, "I've never been there, but Al has."
Orina & Jogs: He eyes your hammer "Aha, perhaps you are right! This is indeed a bad time and place! Excuse me while I think about my actions...hmm, you've filled my head with doubts...perhaps I should have amubshed you on your way out...yes revenge will come at another time, less expected, and less illegal! Farewell!" He throws a tiny pellelt that bursts with a pitiful amount of smoke, before making a dash away from you. "You idiot, we need you to go into the dungeon!" Cries a female voice from the trees. "UGH, he's already gone, damn it! Alright, everyone, so much for this plan; have fun with your dungeon, chumps!" The figures in the trees run off and scatter.
The Tower- Level 0- Warned And Told About
Xamodas: You move through a large hall, walking into darkness only lit by moonlight shining through the entrance. After a short while of walking, the light fades, and you are left in a void. Suddenly, a torch lights the wall revealing stairs leading up, then another, then another, ad nauseum. All you can see is an endless spiral of light and stairs going up seemingly infinitely.
Greenport:
Nae: You hear a voice in your mind. "There is something that belongs to me; sitting beneath a hollow tree; Take a trip to Corvidae; You're sure to find it on the way.
I rhymed, so you know I'm serious about this. and, to third one, the answer is yes."
Noldeme & Nae: "Ah, I see, that's great to hear! Finds was saying there was someone who kepts annoying her about questions about that, called...Two Wrists? I'm not sure who that is, really, but whenever they have a problem, the Grand Turtle is always at their beck and call; or at least, he always SAYS he's going to show up, but the problem always get solved beforehand. I'll make sure Finds get's a message to him, all the better chance to be rewarded for your efforts."
Blackport:
Leshanna: "I think you will find no price is too high for me my offer is... 1 million gold pieces" Despite the words 1 million gold being uttered from his lips, it seems like nobody in the tavern even noticed. "But for every 1 gold I pay you up front, I'll take off 1000 from the top. If you'd like, you could take the 1000 gold and walk away, but of course, you'd still be losing out on the real prize. But, you said it yourself, you want to be better, no, the best, don't you?" He pulls out a hefty bag with an embroidered toad on it and holds a dagger up to it. He sets it up on the table, and opens it up, you can see what looks like a sea of glittering gold coins inside.
Buck: There is certainly a lot of woodwork around here: Ships made of wood, houses made of wood, docks made of wood. Wood and mud are in abundace. Most posters are scattered about aimlessly, but there is a wooden message board where most of them have coallssed. Some of them are just classifieds looking for more mudane jobs, but others seem much more promising. A few papers stick out to you: There are posters for a huge festival in Corvidae, occuring in about a week and a half from now; There is a poster calling brave and adventurers to brave a place known as the Cracked Lands for whatever lies within; There is a poster advertsing some sort of job called a" Fallen Finder", but doesn't give much information beyond a location and promising strange discoveries.
Blackpowder Swamp:
Yaw: You both search through the mud, and half buried near one of the trees is what looks to be an urn or jar of some sort that looks like a frog. "Ah ha, right where I left it." He opens it up, and pulls out quite a bit of things that seem like they shouldn't fit in there. A set of leather armor, a filled backpack, and a fresh set of clothes. He continues to reach inside, feeling for something that isn't there. "Ah, guess I waited a bit to long, oh well. Hey, turn around, will yah, I'm gonna change, stick anything your worried about losing or don't need in there, and chuck some gold, or a few bugs in."
Road to Corvidae:
Zacharias & Dordis: "Yes, many times I've been." says, uh, Al. "For buisness and for pleasure. We have not much further to go, but seeing as this fellow has come along, if you don't mind, I think now is a good time as ever for an important lesson." He stops his pony. "Excuse me, Dordis was it? This might sound like an odd question, but if you had to guess, what do you think your Soul looks like?"
Nae jumps a little in shock hearing the voice in her head but quickly recomposes herself then leans a little closer to the butterfly and then softly speaks "Whats this thing that belongs to you, and do you know anything of this woman Ive just met, why does it feel like i know her?" Nae likly looks a little insane whispering to a butterfly, but clearly doesnt mind too much and takes one hand to begin eating her meal whilst holding the butterfly in her other hand
Buck takes in the drab colored town as he makes his way to the wooden message board. He glances over at the postings and his eye catches the paper seeking a Fallen Finder. Grabbing it he reads it for more details.
((Also, did I see what looks to be some kind of guard force as I've been walking through town?))
After reading the poster, Buck makes his way over to a guard, or if there are no guards, some random person. "Hello! I'm new in town and was wondering where I could find work? I'm accurate with a bow and can bring pleasure to the ears with my musical talents."
