Orina and Jogs: At first, people seem to ingore you, but a one wizard goes "I'll do it for a hundred gold!" Another goes "I'll do it for eighty!" it seems you've started a minor bidding war for a service you don't actually have money for! "Wait, do you need be shrunk OR turned into a mouse? I can do big mouse or tiny person but not both...for 79 gold!"
Then after Orina yells, just about all hell breaks loose. "A dungeon? You found a dungeon? where?!"; "I'm a capable magician AND a street performer, thank you very much!"; "I can't do magic, but I hit things good, I'll go!"; "Paid? Count me in"; "Tell me where that dungeon is, tell me! I'll pay YOU good money to tell me!"; "100 GOLD FOR DUNGEON LOCATION!"; "DO YOU TAKE HORSES;I GOT ARMOR;I KNOW HEAL;HOW AB;MOU;WA;" A huge crowd begins to surge over Jogs and toward the Rosebush tent.
Blackport:
Leshanna: "The shotgun? I'll start at 600 for that, although, I got a smaller one for 300. And Like I said, 1 gold for 1 bullet."
Yaw: "Sorry, pal, this doesn't even come close. If you value this persons life, you should have no problem making back the money, and by the looks of it, you know where to get it, too. How much time do you think you need?"
Rattles looks at you. "You aren't seriously thinking of going back there, are you?"
Greenport:
Nae: As you are looking through the streets, looking for somewhere that has their doors open, and ge!t just a tiny bit lost, but you think you see some light in the distance. However, as your walking, you see something in the shadows out of the corner of your eye, and it lashes out at you!
Noldeme: "Yes, in front of the ship tomorrow. " He confirms. "Hour after sunrise." After that you head back to the tavern. it's been quite a long day, and night is falling. You hear the sound of a struggle up ahead, and as you turn a corner, you see somone being attacked by some horrible wormlike creature, only with some sort of tentacled beak for a mouth.
Nae and Noldeme: Roll for initiaitive! Worm Creature initiative: 12
Edgar says "How about this, then, you choose somebody to go with, and they'll take you there. 2 of us will take the shortcut, the other 2 will walk there and make sure the roads are safe. Zacharias, you choose who you want to go with, and how. They'll help you get to Corvidae, and if you've never taken the road before, I suggest that just so you don't get lost in the future."
((Shortcut will take you to Corvidae almost immediately, if you are eager for a change of scenery and to get started on that mission sooner.))
The Aasimar brunette immediately jumps into action, her longbow appearing out of thin air for her to use to defend this someone she hadn't seen clearly yet.
"Ack! this is bad! I wanted to have some food not be food!" Nae does her best to keep the thing off her "Help someone please!" she fumbles for her dagger

Orina looks up from her discussion with Jogs, goes "Eep!", and grabs the dragonborn and pulls her into the tent hastily. While running with Jogs in tow behind the table, she yells out to Tebit "Hey, hey! I think recruitment's about to go waaay up! I'm going to try to fix this, so back me up you guys! Jogs... try to look official and intimidating behind that desk!"
Thinking fast, Orina turns around and faces the tent flap, which she's pretty sure is about to be stormed. She waves her hand and casts disguise self, shrinking herself down to an ordinary human-sized man who looks astonishingly similar to Salvador. Even her outfit changes to match Salvador's, and as a last desperate resort, she touches her forehead and casts guidance on herself before sending up a desperate prayer to the light: Please let this work!
As the first hopeful would-be adventurers come tumbling in, she affects a stern expression and says in a deep, booming voice, "If you're here to join the Rosebush Guild, you'd better have a real desire to help out those in need, profit or no. If you're just here for a quick buck, turn around and march yourself right back out, we're not interested in your type!" Shoving her chin forward at the nearest wizard-looking applicant who isn't heading for the doors, she says "Starting with you, get in line and tell us why you think you're qualified to apply for this job!"
Persuasion: 7 + Guidance: 3
(edit: Jogs, it's up to you to settle this crowd, LOL!)
"Hmm..." Leshanna says with a frown. "I do not have quite that much for funds." She glances to the smith. "Do you have any tasks you need accomplished that I could do in trade for some or all of that cost?"
"SIMMAH DOWN NOW!" Yells Jogs at the top of her lungs, and whams her hammer on the desk in front of her like a gavel. She then belches a burst of flame into the air [assuming the tent is high enough and not all that flammable; Jogs ain't bright but isn't suicidal]. If necessary, she stands near Orina with her shield, keeping it up and in front of the Firbolg and gently pushing anybody too eager away.
"We'll hear everybody's appli... we'll hear from everyone, just be patient, please. Form an orderly queue at either Orina, the Firbolg, Tepid, the dwarf, or Salmon, the human. Guys, can you help us sort out recruits for what we need please? Keep the best candidate and we'll compare all three at the end of the day," she orders.
Zacharias considers Connor's words, then nods. "I have made my choice. I will walk the road with you," he says to the halfling, grinning. "The better to tell you all about my master and how he can use your cunning, silver tongue for his glory."
Ulrich: Dula, follows suit afterwards, after hesitating 7
She swings across, but her finger slips, she is hanging with one hand on the rope, but she gets her grip back. However, she's not moving any further.
Rosebush Tent:
Orina & Jogs: Jogs, with an imposing prescence, get's people to back down. Tebit seems quite alarmed at you slamming down your hammer at the desk, and there is a slight dent in it now, but he helps you out for stopping the crowd, "Aye, I'll help, I know a good wizard when I see one. And we only want wizards, ya hear! No need for rouges or fighters!" After saying that, a good deal of the crowd disperses, but there are still a sizeable amount of applicants. After weeding some of those who are left who can cast the proper spells, you have managed to weed out three canidates as follows:
A blue robed human with a colorful beard greets you with a happy attitude. "Finn Bashford, Alchemist from the magical sector up North. I'm quite a skilled alchemist, I can brew up some short lasting potions, and even some better ones with the right materials. I can also create some useful temporary enchantments for items."
"Called GrrGrrFrr, good magic." Says a gnoll, who is either a wizard or very persuasive. He has a collection of sharp teeth around his neck, and fairly simple coverings, andhe is more than eager to show of his magic, which he seems to cast by using a sharp tooth as a focus. He doesn't seem to be much for talking.
At first, you thought this was a barbarian, but it seems you were mistaken: A human man with no shirt, showing off his impeccable, bulging muscles, which he not shy to flex. He has a thick accent. "I am Strong, the Muscle Wizard. I wrestle bears in mountain. Common idea is that wizard is weak; that is falsitude, as you can see. Best of both worlds." You imagine if this guy doesn't have Enlarge/Reduce he would be doing something wrong.
Blackport:
Leshanna: "Sorry pal, ya just a customer, I don't wanna be throwing around my important jobs to just anyone. You're a Black Dragon now, somebody somewhere needs some dangerous work done and have low standards. Unless you start becoming a regular, you're outta luck."
The Rosebed -> Road to Corvidae:
Zacharias: "So it shall be, then." Connor reaches under his suit and pulls out a key, handing it to Edgar. "Here you go, for the shortcut. I am eager to see the capabilites of this new recruit."
Areyo huffs "I'm suprised he took a liking to you, we'll see how long that lasts."
((Unless there is something you would like to do or ask before leaving Resolve, your journey shall begin.))
Connor, as he walks out with you, asks "So, tell me about this game, Illmater's Cords, I simply must know how to play it."
Greenport:
Noldeme and Nae: The wormlike creature lashes out! 12
Nae barely manages to deflect a tentacle with her armor, slipping to the side as a protruding hook scrapes across leather.
Still in her guise as Salmon, Orina paces back and forth between the three mage candidates, waiting to see if any one of them notices that anything is off about her. After a few moments, she raises an eyebrow and asks them in the same low, booming voice, "Well? I want each of you to come up one by one and whisper into Tebit's ear what you just saw." She then turns around and stalks towards the table, giving Tebit a wink as she passes by in the hopes that he'll cotton on to this impromptu test for the three mages.
Nae just barely dodges the wormy creature and gives a loud yelp of fear
When Nea's turn comes she will go to grab her dagger and say "Alright, guess you're not gonna play nice." and will go to stab it, but will instead cast an eldrich blast at it as her eldrich power erupts from her hands for the first time.
To hit: 25

"Oh!" Nae looks at her hand surprised as a small smile crawls across her face "Thats new... and very cool"

Even if he doesn't have the magic to make us small, he might have the brains to think up of another way to get us into that dungeon. Which one of these two do you prefer, though?"
Yaw: I gulp, “You want me to go back?!” I look at Rattles, then back at Nick. Determined I explain to Nick, “I can’t just leave him here to rot. I think that I can find my way back. Do either of you have anything to help me sneak past this beast? A potion perhaps?”
