Corvidae - Castle District
Liadon stands slightly to see and tells the driver, "Of course not, Iam, Kenku have arms, not wings. The fourth villa on the right, but stop at the third. I'd like to get out and check on the construction by walking through the back. {Liadon Deception: 18} Just tell the gentleman at the gate that Iam is the personal guest of Liadon and Merlara Ilphelkiir."
When they come to a stop, Liadon pays the driver, including a handsome tip, as he talks to Iam, "When you reach the villa, let yourself in. Our butler's name is Aust, inform him you are my guest and make yourself at home. I should join you shortly to discuss the construction."
Liadon steps down from the carriage and walks casually through the open yard of his neighbor. Once out of sight behind some decorative evergreens, he begins sneaking past the house and through the back yard toward his fiance's villa, scanning constantly for any Kenku or Caretakers. {Liadon Stealth: 12 / Liadon Perception: 8}
Dordis is put at ease by his drawings. His father recommended it after seeing a spark of effort being put into arranging his notes and text with symbols.
Although, it also brings a pained expression to his face.
"Leshanna? I will head off for a moment, I need to pass a note over to Lucy that I will not be sleeping in the room I will accomodate, for courtesy. I also need to do a quick task, it should not take long." while Dordis stands up to dust himself, he tries to show no concern over his thought, and opts to hide his current expression via a light-hearted tone as he speaks. He scours through his bag to find a piece of parchment, and takes a quill already dipped with ink as he exits Leshanna's room. He does not bring his belongings, and decides to store his bag inside the bedroll.
As he walks in the hall-way to his room, he does his best to write a comprehensible letter in fear of it becoming too complex.
This note is from DOoR.
I write to say that I am staying with someone else for the night, and I think you know who it is. Sorry I did not give this note to you in advance, I feel a tad concerned for myself after today, is all.
He leaves the letter atop the bed within his room once he reaches it. He exits the room quickly while keeping the door unlocked, and makes his way downstairs.
He pays no heed to anyone as he rushes outside, walking to an area which seems not to be populated. Walking to a nearby alleyway entrance, he seems to shut down almost entirely, his face going blank as some thoughts rush to him, but he works to control his expression to not come off as insane. He clings to the left of a structure's wall, and after a few moments of audible silence, he seems to be better. He strides back to THE Crowbar, his consciousness of his surroundings slipping his thoughts as he blindly makes his way back. The mental exhaustion is getting to him.

Sorry for my late reply again, I got carried away in a few recent happenings.
Anyway, Dordis's mind rushes to the beginning thoughts of his own self-doubts of ever findiny Soltris, and even after finding a solid lead, the only man he had met was slain by Leshanna.
He holds a deep resentment within, toppled with the expectations he thinks his father weighs on him, he is at a lost for what to do next. Soltris was a good light for him, after all, he would have become a proper wizard like his father, had he not went through his innate power. Other wizards had chosen not to speak to him, resulting in himself being cloistered in libraries for studying by his lonesome. Only after Soltris had been introduced to his life, did a necessity to go outside sometimes crossed his thoughts. Soltris was, and will probably be his only anchor to finding out what brought such misfortune to him that singlehandedly botched his carrier as carrying his father's name in pride.

You approach the anomaly. You see the light, and see a small clearing, there are traces of shattered tree branches about. It comes into view; it appears to be a fist sized, glowing red stone, sitting in a pool of some liquid that glows a similar color. The pool extends through the ground in a sigil of some kind, glowing in the shape of a square within a triangle within a circle. You can’t help but feel like you are in a foreign place.
Twill says “Looks like red prismaticite, the cheapest kind. You sure you’ve done this before? You seem be a more than bit stirred.” Twill seems undeterred, but you swear there’s something about this place. Now you even feel like you’re being watched…chased by something unseen, but nobody is there. Just you and Twill…but for how long?
Greenport:
Honour: “A smuggler would be a good bet.” Says Mungam as you explain it to him. “Usually not to difficult to work with, usually just focused on money, or think themselves doing a act of good in some way.” He flips though the stack, and pulls out a paper. “ “Krillboss, eh? calling him a bottom feeder is an understatement, no doubt he be looking to him for crew at some point.”
(Johnny “Krillboss” Jack, a a halfling smuggler you know, and maybe worked with in the past. He often takes cheap, easy jobs with mostly untrained labor that he manages. He might be the lowest of the low, but you have heard he has higher connections that keep him protected. He rarely goes out himself, unless it is an actually important matter. He is known to have a patient temperament, and has an affection for impossible bottles, glass bottles with objects inside that are much to big to fit through the opening, and he has an unrivaled collection.)
Sarah is enthralled by Fenhorn’s creation of clothes from thin air, disrupting the cool demeanor that was about her. “Wow, I’ve never seen magic like that before!” She puts a hand to the clothes. “These don’t feel like an illusion either…this is quite the talent you have. How long would it take to make disguises for all of us?” Fenhorn rubs his chin, blushing a bit. “Ah…well, hour or so, depending on the quality.”
Mungam tells you. “Honour, why don’t you talk to Krillboss about hiring some new blood first, the sooner we get on this the better. (Also, you know where to find him.)
Corvidae – Castle District:
Iam and Liadon: Liadon pays the driver handsomely with a few gold pieces as he stops at the house. You do your best you can at being hidden, you do spot a kenku, who you are absolutely sure has spotted you, but it doesn’t seem to notice you, or it is acting like it hasn’t. You manage to quietly overtake a fence, opening the lock would be noisy, and make it into the villas humble backyard.
Chloro Hills:
Nae calls out, the glowing woman, who you can only assume could be an angel at this point. She continues pointing her longbow at you. When you call out to the Pegasus, it reacts knowingly, and you can still see signs of it’s wounds, but it does not speak to you. “For you saving a heavenly life, so shall I spare your corrupted souls, but do not test my mercy.” Calls down the angels voice with reverberating divinity. “I have come here to send the Courier of Helm the Protector, back on the right path. If not here now through words, then by holy fire.” Intiative: 20 (But does not appear to be doing anything on her turn.)
((Also, a few sentences are fine on any turn as a free action))
Blackport – Shady Lamppost:
You go to a booth by the window, where the elf begins to count the coins silently in front of you. This goes on for several minutes, before he finally asks “So, you wouldn’t happen to have any friends who are skilled gamblers, would you? Tell me about them.”
Outer Corvidae – Farm Homestead:
You give a few knocks. A plain looking human woman in a nightgown opens the door. “Oh, hello, looking for a place to spend the night?” she says. A male voice calls from behind “Who is it? Another adventurer.” She turns and says. “Probably!” she turns back to you and explains. “We’ve had a few in and out the past few days, they came round and solved some problems, so we’re returning the favor, you’re welcome to come inside. You look quite weary, please, have a seat, we’ll prepare the guest room, are you hungry at all?” A man and child come down a set of stairs in night clothing as well. You can see the child has a book tucked under his arm as he stares at you from behind the man’s leg.”
Corvidae – THE Crow bar:
Leshanna quietly summons her owl, as it appears from the ashes of the properly engraved brazier. It’s just like the ones in blackport swamps, with white, grey, and black feathers and eyes that a pure grey. (unless you have a particular design in mind instead).
Dordis hands the note to Lucy, who reads it as you walk out. He collects his thoughts outdoors, standing in the alleyway, drinking in the light of the…moons, you are calm and collected, that inner sanctuary within his mind. He goes through the motions, your thoughts pour from you and collect on the sand, slowly flowing down into the water, into the endless Sea of Doubts. When you return to the alley, you feel as better as you wish to be.
Dordis makes his way back to the bar, wear Lucy tries to hide a funny expression, like she has some completely wrong idea on whatever is going on in your now shared room.
Seeing the angelic figure seemed mostly reasonable, Noldeme slides her longbow into her back, not intending to use it, but not putting it back into its pocket dimension either. "Huh, of course, we can talk... I like to consider myself good with words anyway. You're looking for a courier of sorts? Do you want directions or some kind of clue to find this person? I don't think I've found them as far as I know."

Voldred looks back at Twill. "Look at that." - he points to the clear pattern of symbols on the ground - "Does that look like a simple...prismaticite to you? Surely even someone like you can recognize a magic circle when she sees one."
Arcana check: 8
"And even if not, surely you can feel something watching us? But regardless, this is not something I want to deal with, but I can't just leave this here either."
Lacking better options at the moment, Voldred will use Mage Hand to pick up the stone from a safe distance, wrap it in his bedroll and secure it with rope, making sure no light can be seen from outside.
"This is hardly ideal containment, but I can always buy another bedroll. Now let's go, I don't want to be here any longer than necessary."
Before leaving, Voldred will also try to use Mage Hand to disrupt the pattern on the ground.
DM Note: All of this assuming nothing drastic happens when Voldred picks up the stone, wraps it up and/or disrupts the pattern. If something does happen anything I've described past that point is to be considered non-canon and will be retconned once I know what I'm dealing with.
Chloro hills Nae looks absolutely confused. "Lets maybe not with the holy fire? I'd be happy to suggest many other options, but like Eme said, yeah we could try helping each other instead. Your horse is great by the way, just wanna say, wonderful and brave creature."

Zacharias graciously enters the home, his face aglow with kindness and thanks. "Thank you so much," he says to the woman as he passes her in the doorway. "Yes, I'm on my way to the river port and ran out of daylight." He nods to the man and then looks at the boy, his polite smile widening into a grin as he sits on the edge of the proffered chair. "I'm new to Corvidae. I came from Resolve, but was only there a short time. I'm originally from a small compound about half a day's journey from Resolve. You might say I'm kind of new to the world." His eyes find the boy again, and he says in a curious tone, "Well, hello there. My name's Zacharias. What's yours?"
Liadon makes it into his fiance's Villa and sneaks into the construction area. He makes his way through, casually but hurriedly ignoring the workers on the way toward the main hall. Before he gets there, he goes through an unfinished window and around the right to his own room. He slides open the window he left unlocked and climbs in. He quickly goes to the lavatory and checks his disguise in the vanity. He is dismayed to see it in shambles and expertly corrects it all. He quickly changes into a clean set of common clothing then goes to his door. He peaks out his door before stepping into the hall.{Liadon Perception: 20} He begins to casually stroll back to the construction area, where he intentionally dirties his clothes a bit, then heads back through the yard to the veranda, where he expects to find his fiance dining with her father & mother.
Iam turns to the driver as Liadon makes his way around the neighbor's after getting out before the house and paying the driver. Iam takes a gold piece from his pouch as they pull up in front of the residence Liadon instructed the driver. "If you could wait just a couple moments, myself will need a ride to the tent of the northern reconstruction effort known as spearhead, but I wish to do Liadon's request and inform his butler of his return." Iam hands over the gold piece then climbs from the carriage.
Walking to the front door he knocks, he waits two minutes for an answer and then leaves. If answered regardless of by whom he relays the information about Liadon. "Hello, I call myself Iam. I recently met a gentleman named Liadon who escorted myself about the city. When Liadon passed out in the temple district, I wished to see him home. Liadon informed us this is the residence of his fiance and he is residing here, however he insisted on walking through the construction while we came to the main door. I would be pleased if you informed Liadon that making a job for myself really isn't necessary as a thank you. Spending the day with me was thanks enough. I can be found at the tent of the northern reconstruction project tent known as spearhead if he has need of me. Good day."
With that said Iam will turn remount the carriage and have the driver take him to his next destination.

Mungam tells you. “Honour, why don’t you talk to Krillboss about hiring some new blood first, the sooner we get on this the better. (Also, you know where to find him.)
She gave a chuckle and a smirk.. "Krill is a bit of a smarmy bastard, but I can talk to him, and so long as the money is good, he'll be game." she looked to the others.. "I'll meet you all back here then?" And taking a quick glance around the shop.. "Oh, and I'll need a bottle or three. He has a certain..... affectation." she smiled.. "If ya happen to have any, the smaller the opening, the more he'll like em." If she gets some or doesn't., she nods, and makes plans for the later Rendevous, leaving Fenhorn, Mungam and Sarah at the office, while going out to find Krillboss on her own, checking of course, the first place she could think of to find him.
"If that had been my only motivation, I could have stayed home and used the normal resources to make the lives of others better. No, at least with me, there is more that I desire. I am just well aware of my gifts and were they came from. And that they can be easily taken from me. I give my Queen all her glory, but I let myself enjoy the experience of being one of Hers. I let myself enjoy the power that She has given me. And I accept all that that means."
(( Apologies. Completely missed that you had responded))
Dordis breathes deeply for a few heartbeats as he re-enters the crow bar, his mind feeling a tad better after venting out built-up negativity. He pauses momentarily, curious as he sees Lucy's expression, but eventually shrugs it off moments afterward. He would not pay much attention to the works of the tavern/inn, moving at a normal pace as he makes his way to the 2nd floor. The tug of exhaustion clearly coming from exerting themself via his reserve of magic taxes his senses, leaving Leshanna's question unnoticed by him while he settles to a plod. Eventually reaching the shared room, he is barely able to put the belongings tucked inside the bedroll's sheet aside before he promptly collapses on the bedroll, slipping his conscious-self to rest((temporarily of course.))
Voldred: The sigil’s meaning completely evades you. You carefully pick up the stone with mage hand, taking utmost care to secure it and obscure it without laying a hand on it. Twill just seems to raise an eyebrow at your behavior. “Sure, I guess there might be finders looking for the thing, but we’re sure to be miles ahead of them.” Once the stone is secured, you move to erase- hm, it seems that after moving the stone, the sigil began to degrade on it’s own, the fluid inside slowly dissipating and evaporating, still, you take what time you can to accelerate the process. Voldred earned 500XP.
“Alright, let’s get moving, it’ll probably get a bit dark before we get there.” You feel like you should move quicker than that…some innate sense tells you whatever this is, it’s not supposed to be here, and you’re not supposed to have it.
Chloro Hills:
“You are either a liar or a terrible listener, it should be obvious.. Gaze within the light of a still water, and you would clearly see it is you, Noldeme, who has neglected her duty and put everything at risk.”
As Nae speaks, the angel shouts cutting words with a corporeal hatred. “SILENCE! I care not for your corrupted flattery, cave dweller. You should have stayed underground, it is your doing for causing her to stray!” Attack: 11 Damage: 3 You quite literraly feel the words try to cut into you.
Nae realizes from the blow, the Pegasus remained silent to protect you. This angel, or whatever it is, can wield the emotion in her words like a blade. The Pegasus used your story to heal before…perhaps all creatures of this nature are greatly effected by any emotion.
Macgullickson’s Farm:
Zacharias: The boy remains behind the fathers leg, perhaps shy of you, but you can feel something else…he is afraid of you? “Ethan must be tired.” Says the man. “Usually all about adventurers. Call me Mr. Macgullickson.” He leans down, and tells him to wait upstairs to finish reading. Mrs. Gullickson takes a pot off the coals of the hearth, apparently always keeping it warm for travelers. “Resolve, so you’ve been to The Tower, then? Are you with Rosebush?”
Zacharias is listening, but is somewhat distracted. There is the oddest cold feeling at the back of his neck. His breathing is somewhat irregular at the moment, and he isn’t sure why.
THE Crow Bar -> (???)
Leshanna: ((Still need to rest, getting there)) You enter your trance. You close your eyes, and focus, the image a practice range within your mind. You are dreaming, but that is no excuse to not focus your skills. What would you like to practice?
Dordis: You drift quickly to sleep, more drained than you realize.
You are sitting, flipping through that book you found from the vagrant. You scan through each page, you keep thinking in the corner of your eye, you see something you recognize from Soltris, or your father; some hint or clue, or even just an emotion from a line of prose that strikes you, but it disappears as soon as you look. You feel like you’ve been flipping for an eternity, before you hear a familiar voice. “Don’t bother, it’s just recipes, you’re wasting your time.” Soltris, your father? You look up.
The Vagrant, with pale grey eyes, is sitting across from you. You jump up with a start, knocking your chair over, almost so startled you feel like you should have woken up, but you’re still here. The Vagrant puts a fingers on his lips. “Shhh, the reaper is next door, and I really don’t want to get killed by her again. I believe we have some unfinished buisness.”
Blackport:
Tsahil: “Oh, well, there is someone I happen to be looking for who shares those skills. I have some personal buisness I need to resolve with them.” He says. You know exactly what he means by ‘personal buisness’. “I had a feeling you might had been them for a second, but you don’t look like much of a Lucille to me. Does that name ring any bells?” (You can make a history check on the one, if you wish.) “She is somewhere in this town, I thought this might attract her.”
Castle District – Villa:
Liadon: You look inside, and see what appears to be a distraught woman, your fiances mother ((You’ll need to fill in the blanks for her)) crying into a handkerchief. Sitting across from her is a finely dressed dwarven woman with red locks, wearing a golden feather pin. The distraught woman sees you peer in, and shouts, “OH, Liadon, thank heaven! You are alright.” The dwarf stands up pats your fiancés mother on the back, and whispers something in her ear before walking up to you. “Come talk with me in the main hall if you will, it’s not good news, especially not for you.” There is a knock at the front door, and Iam does his spiel.
Iam: As you turn away, the butler seems absolutely flabbergasted as you finish your speech. He turns back and sees Liadon with the Caretaker, and has a look of surprise and relief.
Iam returns to the cart. “So,outside the city, then? That guy already paid for your fare, it seems. Hope we can get there before dark.” The driver then wills the cart onward. “Any additional stops?”
Greenport – Mungam Office:
Honour: Sarah has a couple of bottles lying about in her room, presumably from a sweet beverage of some sort, and they are still a bit sticky. Fenhorn, Sarah, and Mungam continue to discusses disguises as you head out, shame you don’t really need one.
As you walk, the rain still not having cleared up, you hear the splashing of foor steps behind you. “Hey, wait up!” Sarah calls. As she catches up to you, she explains. “I thought I might come and help, I can hold my own.” She also rubs her arm, and asks. “Also, I couldn’t help but realize, you mentioned something about doing some pirating, or something like that…and I was wondering if you could divulge a bit, swashbuckling adventure is a bit of a hobby of mine as well. Oh, and here.” She hands you an umbrella, and opens up her own.
Grand Abode:
((I was wondering where you’d been, good to have you back.))
Ulrich: You can see the woman hold her tongue, as if there is more she wishes to say, to push back against you. Like she has heard something like it before, and wants to speak, but it is of no avail. “Ulrich, the Archbishop is ready for you.” Says the voice of a novice beside you.” The woman hears the words, then looks back at you. She closes her eyes and nods. “I understand your point of view, although I don’t think I’ll be seeing your vista anytime soon. It was nice chatting with you, thank you.”

Iam gets settled back into his seat. "I am not certain of the tents location but it was set up for the fair, so I believe it is outside the city. As well, I believe Liadon meant that coin as a gratuity for your service during the fair. I also feel you should be rewarded for helping out, so if you do not mind the payment I shall give you a few coins for the trip to the tent. I am still learning the value of things here, if you wouldn't mind letting me know what is appropriate."

Noldeme, Nae, and Xamodas | Chloro Hill

Nae looks absolutely confused. "Lets maybe not with the holy fire? I'd be happy to suggest many other options, but like Eme said, yeah we could try helping each other instead. Your horse is great by the way, just wanna say, wonderful and brave creature."
Bardic Inspiration is just someone believing in you, and I believe in you
"What do we need to do to collect the reward on the demon summoner from yesterday." Leshanna asks as she comes downstairs.
Corvidae – Castle District
Blackport - The Shaddy Lamppost
"Well, 'skilled' may be a strong word... but I've met some guys who spend their time and money on gambles, indeed. Why do you ask?"

Faksimile - Temple District - Grand Abode:
"If that had been my only motivation, I could have stayed home and used the normal resources to make the lives of others better. No, at least with me, there is more that I desire. I am just well aware of my gifts and were they came from. And that they can be easily taken from me. I give my Queen all her glory, but I let myself enjoy the experience of being one of Hers. I let myself enjoy the power that She has given me. And I accept all that that means."

THE Crow Bar > Dordis & Leshanna
Dordis Falthenfyern
-> Riverport:
THE Crow Bar -> (???)

"Lucille, you say?" says Tsahil, searching his mind for the name. While he thinks, he he keeps the conversation "What kind of gratification should I expect for... contacting her?"
History check: 17
Chloro Hills
Xamodas the Red has remained silent, doing his best not to anger this imperious stranger. He has, however, been casually flapping into the air to hear the angel better, though he has maintained a respectful distance of about sixty feet below her.
"Please, then, speak the truth as you know it. I know little of these two, and have no personal quarrel with Noldeme. Help me with my ignorance, and I can share what little I might have seen, if you have the time."
Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
Corvidae- Villa
Iam gets settled back into his seat. "I am not certain of the tents location but it was set up for the fair, so I believe it is outside the city. As well, I believe Liadon meant that coin as a gratuity for your service during the fair. I also feel you should be rewarded for helping out, so if you do not mind the payment I shall give you a few coins for the trip to the tent. I am still learning the value of things here, if you wouldn't mind letting me know what is appropriate."
