Grimnir is turning towards the direction of the noise and cast Faerie Fire. (DEX DC13) He hurls a large ball of spores that suddenly lightens up the area and should show the silhouette of two larges creatures.

Brox can sense that something is brewing. She looks up at Oorr to try and get a hint at what is coming. She pulls out her crossbow and readies an attack: to hit 5 (second roll if advantage through faerie fire: 13) for damage: 7
As Oorr shouts the warning, the basilisks scurry up the ledge, one on either side, hissing, and ready to attack. And then several things happen all at once.
Belwar launches a fireball at the Basilisk nearest him (We'll call it Left Basilisk) (DC 15 Dex Save: 12) The fireball directly impacts the Basilisk, blowing off a large chunk of its tale and hind legs, causing it to limp. It's angry. Grimnir lights up the other Basilisk (we'll call it Right Basilisk) with Faerie Fire. (DC 13 Dex Save: 4) A purple haze of light is now covering the right basilisk. (Advantage on attacks against it.) And Eldeth and Brox fire arrows that clatter to the ground as the basilisks side step the bolts. Jimjar and Derendil come up from behind in the tunnel, just in time to see the basilisks attack.
Left Basilisk rushes up to Belwar, spitting and hissing in the deep gnomes face. An acid aroma can be felt, hot, and wet, from the maw of the beast. Right Basilisk's feet scuttle quickly as it bears down on Grimnir. (They both use all of their movement to get close to you, so no attacks this round.)
The eyes of the creatures dart around, attempting to catch your own eyes in their gaze. At the start of each of your turns (except for Oorr and Zippy, who are too far away) please make a DC 12 Con Save. At the start of your turn, you may avert your eyes and automatically save, but you can then no longer see the Basilisk (attack at disadvantage). On a failed save, you are restrained.

The vortex of fire engulfs the basilisk, and for a moment, nothing can be seen except the bright flames in front of Belwar. When the flames evaporate, the basilisk is gone, and a pile of ash lies in front of the gnome wizard, a haze of heat wafting up from it.

Grimnir recognises these creatures. He remembers one book he uses to read at the monastery when he was a kid, "The Basilisk in the hat", a funny one, where everyone was turned into stone. "Don't watch them in the eyes, they're like the Medusa !"
With the spores making the creature faintly glow, Grimnir tries to attack without looking directly at his target. (Advantage faerie fire + disadvantage not looking)
Listening to Grimnir, Jimjar tries to aim at the creature just by ears. Shortbow 1: 7 damage piercing 4 Shortbow 2: 8 damage piercing 5 If sneak attack: Add 8 Hide (bonus action): 15
"Now, Zippy!" Oorr screams the command to Zippy as he shots a bolt toward the Basilisk. Zippy, with all the eight eyes closed, leaps 80 feet ahead and bites the monster on the neck.
The Right Basilisk suffers sword slashes, and arrows, as it witnesses its mate burn to ash. The shear onslaught of attacks seems to have a fearful effect on the beast as it turns to disengage and run away. It is able to shuffle about 20 feet away from Grimnir and Brox.
(OOG So on this next round, I only need Con Saves from Grimnir and Brox as it's not close enough to anyone else to catch their gaze. It is hurt, and running away.)

Eldeth averts her eyes after she hears Grimnir's warning. She nevertheless tries to hit the creature with her arrows:
to hit 8 for damage 8 and a second arrow: to hit 17 for damage 8
Then Brox drops her crossbow and takes out Dawnbringer: I waited too long in the darkness, this monster will feel my wrath!
Brox, unable to hear Grimnir's warning, runs forward and attacks the beast:
To hit: 9 for damage 8
She is somehow thrown by the staring gaze that meets her eye. She tries to focus and attacks again:
To hit: 20 for damage 10
This time the sword connects. But Brox feels woozy. Something is happening.
She tries to fight the feeling: CON save: 16
...and is able to shake it off.

Eldeth now looks at the fleeing basilisk and shoots two arrows:
to hit 23 for damage 9 and again to hit 18 for damage 4
Brox follows the 20ft and attacks again with Dawnbringer:
to hit 21 for damage 13 and again to hit 21 for damage 12

Brox and Eldeth hit well, and again, Brox is able so shrug off the effects of the basilisks gaze.
After the Basilisks are dealt with, Oorr will go around investigating.

Grimnir looks at Brox and her mighty attacks. "She is pretty good, better stay friends with this one"
If there are no more danger, Grimnir will also look around.
