Still not sure what the situation is from 30 feet back and in a different language, Abigail readies an action to take the Dodge Action if anything other than a party member comes within 5 feet of her.
Summary: With shield in hand, Tarak takes out the flickering blade and rakes it across the starlight creature; both attacks slashing across it's torso. While the physical blade is met with resistance, the psychic pulse inside the creature does generate some disruption. (14 psychic + 5 regular: 19 total). Lafetha attempts to calm them down from their sudden burst of violence, but her words fall on deaf ears. She steps back closer to the safety of others. Abigail quickly gets in a defensive stance as Morgan provides some cover.
Morgan's two blasts push the dust in the air aside for a brief moment as they attempt to impact on the starlight creature. But not being able to look at, and aim at it, makes it rather difficult. Both blasts landing nearby.
The starlight, engaged in melee, brings it's blade down and across Tarak quickly with two clean strikes. Tarak feels not only the blade; but a deeper wound caused by it's arcane energy cutting through him. (15 physical + 31 force: 46). In nearly the same moment, the tree lunges behind the paladin. It's cold hand draining some of his life force (3).

"Well, that escalated quickly..." Abigail pauses a moment, drawing Alul's Greatsword. "Morgan, I am going to need you to up your game here." Abigail rushes toward the tree-thing as she trills a battle cry. "Upon the waves, the star do guide; But here and now, their faces hide; See not what happens, nor what becomes; To the malicious being, that fell from above."

Morgan stares in disbelief, "Me?! Up my game? how dare you!" Morgan will flank the tree with Abigail. Bonus Action: Hexblades curse on tree. and the Green Flame blade
Attack: 15 Damage: 16 7 of that was fire damage. if enemy in 5 feet of treeguy it takes 9 fire damage. If attack missed use inspiration and add 2
Summary: Tarak begins to bleed out from the wound across his torso. Abigail branishes her massive greatsword and charges the tree-like creature. She swings wildly, but only connects with the earth near it... still not used to the weight of the blade. Morgan takes the opportunity to move on the same target. Their blade encased in a sickening green fire that slashes across the creature's back with a flash (20). From the same fire that covered the attack, a spark flies off and strikes the Starlight (4).
Lafetha's vines extend out from her hand; wrapping around the wooded creature and yanking him towards her (7). And with her opposite hand, a healing wave moves from Lafetha, and over Tarak. His wounds closing and lungs filling with air once more (+14 HP, +6 Temp HP).
The Starlight steps over the now breathing Tarak, it's blade taking two swings. The first striking Morgan (20: part physical, part force), and the second striking Abigail (15: part physical, part force). The wood gather's its dark energy. Two blast firing off. The first manages to hit Abigail (9 Necrotic - cannot heal until the Wood is killed; or it's next turn), but it's other blast strikes Lafetha on her new armor. The impact and dark energy not able to reach through to her skin and life energy.
Situation: Tarak lays on the ground, but alive (1/2 movement to stand up). The Starlight, Abigail, and Morgan are all in a melee with it - just within the reach of Tarak.
Lafetha has some distance to the melee, while the Wood is between them. The Wood creature's skin seems to be falling apart faster from the most recent attacks.
(Abigail cannot heal this round after being hit by the Wood's attack)
