"Seeking a place to call your own, huh? What do you mean by that? Were you a part of the starfall? do you need help?"
The woman takes a few steps forward. Her long gait bringing her closer. Her skin a pale-dusty-silver; much like the color of the moon. Dark hair is pulled back; somewhat matted together. Violet eyes looking down at over you. Her skin is cracked; not unlike a burn victim along with the shimmer of old scars. All along her hands, parts of her exposed legs, and on her brow are sigils - written in some kind of elven that's unknown to you.
Two blades remain in their respective scabbards at her side, while a shimmer of some kind of protective force swirls around her. Not unlike what you remember seeing Alul having around himself back on the mountain. She pushes some of the braids back, retying them with a bit of leather and yarn. Her elven ears much easier to see now... despite not having any idea of what she may truly be.
"I don't know what a Starfall is," she begins. Her eyes darting to the others. "And I have no home. So I am here to find one. I need safe passage."
You remember back to some of your time learning the ways of the Faith. The Iron Queen saved everyone from the World Above, and began to rebuild here on the continent. That the Order and your own Sacred Oath is a brutal one of Conquest...
Glancing at the creature; you know it's a demon of some sort.
Lafetha....
You have heard stories before. Long, long ago. Back when the world was young that the Rana were.. different. Plentiful. Nearly immortal. Magical beings. As time passed; the Rana were made of those elves which survived leaving the old world with the Iron Queen. But if Legends are to be true; the first elves and their children were destroyed and struck down by Dyren - in some kind of magical ritual. It's what stole the near immortal status of the Elven Rana as well as broke the bonds of magic.
This creature is likely to be some kind of Ancient Elf. Perhaps what the Rana people of old were even like, before everyone did what they had to to survive.
The woman looks over at Lafetha with a slight head tilt, again her elven words carrying out. "Yes. I need safe passage away from here."
Abigail, who's ears perked up at the idea that the stranger needed safe passage away from here... and might be willing to pay for such a service, is caught off guard by the sudden outburst from their newest compatriot.
"What the bloody heck?!"
Not knowing what will happen, or who's side she wants to be on in this particular fight, Abigail takes the Dodge action.
Moves in front of Abigail, stating something about married life. Readied action to attack whoever Abigail attacks.
(Elf - 17)
One of the sigil's on the creature flashes, as it draws out it's long and short-swords. Each one in one of it's hands. Bonus Action: Hex on Tarak. (Str checks & Skills are now at Disadvantage) Longsword Attack: 7 Damage: 17 Shortsword Attack: 20 Damage: 15
Summary: Tarak leaps into action; two swings at the overly tall elf while letting out a battle cry. The first attack swing is a bit too telegraphed, the charging motion causing it easily to be seen. His second swing is barely a miss; scraping across it's magical field of armor. One of the elf's sigil's flash; as Tarak feels his muscles twitch as if under something else's control a bit. Then, a quick flash of steel. He slams his shield into the first attack, knocking it out of the way. The creature's other hand coming from a twisting angle; the blade cutting finding an opening (9 physical + 6 necrotic).
The speed of which the violence erupted leaves the others in a bit of shock. Morgan moving and getting ready to team up with Abigail; who gets ready to dodge anything that may be coming their way. Lafetha does the same, having finished her words just a moment ago.
Round 2 (Begin)
Situation: Tarak and the Elf are in melee combat together. They are about 25ish feet away from everyone else.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Morgan sees the elf casting a spell that effects everyone, "Hey! We're staying out of this!" Morgan's eyes go black, their forked tongue gives off jarring sounds, the inverse of what the elf is casting Counterspell ( if the spell 4th or higher 8 and if counter spell doesn't work, Con Save 13 )
"Tarak you're the worst. From now on you don't speak to people, you don't approach them, you stay in the back and you STOP making people fight us!"
Morgan charges to the side of the elf (so maybe Abigail can flank on their turn) and Looks at Tarak, "Hey, Tarak, Check out my cool sword! I love it sooo much! It slices it dices it murderizes!" Attack: 21 Damage: 1 Attack: 22 Damage: 8 if hit they spend the charge: 3
(Will edit accordingly if Abigail is able to log in and get a post up quickly; incase we're writing at the same time)
Round 2 (End)
Summary: Tarak continues to engage with the elf. Calling upon his internal will, he manages to guide two strikes successfully. A holy word expelling from the dragonborn as his dagger is wrapped in radiant light for a moment. He does notice that while the blade is working, there doesn't appear to have any oomph that it did against the other foes. (12 physical + 11 smite: 33 damage. Immune to psychic).
As the second hit lands; one of the Elf's sigils flashes. Flames erupt around him; engulfing him in flames (18 fire). The elf's hands twist, as Tarak feels it inside his mind. It trying to wrestle control away from his body... but he manages to stand his ground. Several sigils begin to light up as a necrotic wave of energy starts to ripple from her form. Morgan quickly tries to speak against it; calling upon their own arcane energy to stop what's about to happen....
But the explosion goes off. The wave slamming against everyone (Necrotic Damage. 18 to Tarak, Morgan, and Abigail. 9 to Lafetha). Morgan's icy armor is blown away by the explosion of power. Morgan rushes into the fight, using their newfound blade against the opponent. The first strike hits (3 + 15 force: 18) but the second is parried by her short sword.
Abigail falls to one knee, coughing and beginning to look bad.
Lafetha, seeing Tarak barely able to stand, moves over and places a hand on him. A pulse of healing moving through the severely injured paladin (+15)

Round 3 (Begin)
Situation: Tarak and Morgan are in melee with the elf. The cut from Morgan having landed a deep blow that's causing the back of her shirt to be covered in blood. Lafetha is behind Tarak, but not too far away. Abigail is 20ish feet away - and on death's door (3 hp)
Morgan sees Abigail stumble, "NO!" The blood-red cat-eye slits appear over their eyes. (Hex blade's curse on elf) they duck around the Elf to flank with Tarak, as they do so, they drop the stary blade and pull out their Rapier and start slashing furiously, Attack: 16 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
