Grim grabs his Quarterstaff and starts to walk to the figure, acting like he has a severe limp, and leaning on his Quarterstaff. (( 13 performance.))

As the wagon grinds to a halt, Elwarith turns to see what's going on, sees the figure in the road and goes straight in to Vistani mode

"Well met traveler, what can we do for you?  I was just escorting these fine souls to Barovia for a bit of coin."

Samudra turns into a nondescript lizard and scuttles up to the top of the wagon to see what all the commotion is about. She sees the figure and decides to get closer. ((Is the figure to the side, front, or back of the wagon?))

The figure stops midway through the road and turns toward your wagon.  It's steps are slow and deliberate, bearing no fear or hesitation to them.  As it draws closer, you see its silhouette bears the resemblance to one wearing heavy, chained armor.  The shape of a long sword can be seen to its side.  Those same small pinpoints of red glow slightly brighter, as if focusing on something new after hours of the same task.  As it emerges from the mist, you see the desiccated figure of a long dead human man.  Two bright, gleaming pinpoints of light burn where its eyes would normally be.  Rusted armor covers the figure from head-to-toe, but the long sword seems to be perfectly maintained.  The scent of death seems to emit from it.  In a dry, raspy voice, it utters, "Travellers of the Vistani...Be you... friend... or foe..."

Grim cocks his head, "To whom"

The eyes of the figure burn brighter as it says, "To I."

"We have no reason to be your foe" grim says calmly bowing his head to the figure, "Might we ask your name."

"I have none. I am a Knight of the Order of the Silver Dragon. If you truly are my allies, then you are enemies of Count Strahd von Zarovich.  Is that your claim?" The eyes of the figure dim once more and scan each of the MistBusters' faces.

The figure is hard to read, he seems honest, but Grim can't really get a good read on it.  It seems very angry, but it is a cold hate, not a burning rage.

"The Vistani are no friend of Strahd....And we have no quarrels with you sir knight.  Perhaps we can be of assistance...what is it you seek?"

Elwarith is still pretending he's Andrzej Saunders, a vistani

The knight turns toward Eliwrath, pulling his sword from the shealth and brandishing it.  His eyes now burning the brightest you have seen.  "Do not lie to me, Vistani.  It was your people that allowed this to happen! You saved the man that became the monster! You are free to leave this cursed realm while our very souls are bound to these mists!"

"Alright back it up, I am not vistani. Do you mean to tell me they saved strahd and let him come to this power" Grim's face goes a little white, "I have a question for you, is the Gulthias tree tied to shit stain strahd."

"If you know that to be true, then you know Count Strahd protects us.  So by harming one of us you'll only bring about your own doom at the hands of him..."

Grim whirls on Elwarith, his facade of having a limp gone, "Shut your mouth before I shut it for you." He turns to the knight, "Is the Gulthias tree connected to strahd"

((intimidating Elwarith cause I feel like it 11 ))

"I do not know this tree, but..."The knight clenches his jaw, lowers his head, and growls, "If... your words have been nothing but lies... I give you all a final chance... recant your Count Strahd..." The knight raises his blade to his chest, "I welcome your Count to come and defend you, for you shall not pass this day.  Come. Face me.  Strike me down. For I will strike him down a thousand times before I allow myself the reward of rest. As he lives, I shall know no peace. That... I swear!" 

((Well, this is going well))

"All yours Grim....." Elwarith smiles

((swear warning)) "FOR ****S SAKE" Grim yells, "Listen we are not vistani, we are not with strahd, we are aiming to kill the ****. That prick over there," he points to Elwarith, "is our resident assassin, it's his job to sneak everywhere and lie. For some reason though HE THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD ODEA TO TRY AND INTIMIDATE AN ENEMY OF STRAHD SIMPLY BECAUSE HE FELT THE NEED TO KEEP UP A VISTANI DISGUISE." Grim catches his breathing, "We are not your foe, and we are not strahds freinds. We welcome you as a friend, if you also want strahd dead, as we want the same. You would have a better chance of killing him though, with friends helping you" Grim finishes and hold out his hand for the knight to shake.

The lizard hisses at Elwarith one final time and jumps down from the roof, turning into her true form. "We do not wish for a fight, and our true enemy is Strahd." She says, with a slight dip of her head.
