Based on that roll, you are able to pick up a distinct part of the conversation before Graddor pulls the woman away from you.
"Surely whatever this is, its being caused by the church, yes? If we simply destroy the tunnels leading to the church...."
"No, you dinnea understand, Cap'n. The corruption down there is nae from the mines. Ah've been through every bloody tunnel down there and whatever is causing the ore to dry up, its source is nae underground."
It is at this point that Graddor pulls the woman away.
Thalion lags slightly behind the group, feeling his long, pointed ears tingle as he overhears Graddor's conversation come to an end. He waits until the group is setting off toward the mountains before catching up with them.
"I think we're headed in the right direction. I heard Graddor talking to that woman before he took her away - the corruption doesn't originate underground in the mines. Maybe this doctor will know more."
Nevlav let's the group start the hike and takes up the rear guard, his shield stowed on his back and a grimace on his face. Being in heavy armor, a bit portly and used to cities he did not relish this escapade.
Alden will move about 20 ft. ahead of the party but, if there are turns and the like he will make sure the party sees him at all times. His pace will be a normal one.
(Jeez -- you guys and these rolls; every roll that matters ends up at 15 or above.)
Its a bit of slow going, and its a very different type of perception than you are used to, Alden, but eventually you are able to develop a pretty good rhythm and you're finding the trail and making good time. After a little over an hour, you arrive at a little clearing, where the path takes a much steeper turn upwards. Its not a full climb, but its seems like you'll be scrambling for a significant part of the next leg
Alden
Something else you notice with that roll is that there does something to be wrong with the plant life along the way; much of the vegetation seems to be browning or decaying, and thick vines seem to be choking the ground, splitting rocks and wrapping around the earth of the mountain path.
Alden points out the decaying, browning vegetation to the rest of you along the walk -- it is early autumn, so it would normally be way too early for the condition of the grass and greenery that you see around you.
Feeling inspired by Yoric's serenade Grin takes the lead next, moving with some degree of agility from rock hold to rock hold, moving at a quick, confident pace. The group winds it way around the mountain, but somewhere along the way, things start to take on a disorienting sameness. Others in the group begin to question whether or not Grin may be taking you around in circles, when you hear a deep laugh coming up from above you.
"Hahaha, lookit the little insects! Run, little bugs, run!"
There is an immense crashing sound, then a shower of stones comes falling down the hill.
(Everyone make a DEX saving throw of DC 10 or take 6 bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone.)
Hearing the booming voice above, most of you manage in some form or another, to avoid the various rocks and boulders that were dislodged by...something above you. Grin in particular, seems to dance around the rocks with minimal effort. After a moment, the rocks stop failing and the mountain becomes very quiet once more. Whatever was up there, you get the sense that the druid Dr. Aleksei is likely not along this path.
You can try and see what's up there if you like, or you can skirt around the area and continue up the mountain -- whoever is leading, describe how you are you are leading the group and make a roll to see how well you do.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Nevlav treats the boulders as if he were back in gradee school playing that horrid game. The one where a ball is tossed back and forth and whomever gets hit is out. He looks angrily up the slope, revenge etched on his face but ultimately he stays with the group.

(Alden, since you're taking the lead for the first hour, can you describe how you are going to use one of your skills to find the path and roll?)

Alden will continue, pointing out the vegetation to the party, especially Thalion.
"Anyone seen anything like this, besides changing of the seasons."
(OCC: I am assuming this is outside the normal appearance of vegetation for the current season.)

"Dere ar magicks dat can brown de grass and blacken de eart." Grin says with a worried look.
Thalion looks equally disturbed, exchanging a glance with Grin. "It's not natural," he says simply.
Grin takes the lead, wary of any danger.

Thalion's lips and brow set in two grim lines as he tries to nimbly lead the group around the danger, cursing in Elvish up at the craggy rocks above.
