You all make your way around the edge of camp toward the entrance. As you near the guard post, one of the guards notices Rex (and, by extension, the rest of the party) making exaggerated movements in an attempt to be stealthy: 

"What are you lot up to?"

Rex rubs his back as he stands up, “Oh would you look at that. Ya caught me mate. I’m staging a jailbreak right in front of ya. Gonna lead these prisoners out right under your nose. Finnin to ‘ave a pint while I laugh about how it worked. What does it look like I’m doing? Back to your post.”

Does just one guard notice us?

"Oh...uhhhh.....my apologies. Don't let me stop you." 

As you continue on, you hear another guard say, "Don't worry about it, mate. It did look like they were staging a jailbreak right in front of us and preparing to laugh about how it worked. But that's how you know that's what they're not doing. Too obvious. You'll learn these things as you get used to the post."

"Get used to the post?! You've only been here one day longer than I have! How could you be that much more used to the post than me?!"

"I wasn't the one that tried to stop a 'jailbreak' just now, was I?" You can almost hear the finger quotes as he says jailbreak.

Now that you've made it out of the camp, what would you like to do?

Underneath the mask of Disguise Self, Rex has a look of shock, excitement, and disbelief. He mentally mutters to everyone, “How did that work...” Until they are well out of the way of any danger.

[I cannot believe I just Jack Sparrowed the cult of dragons... haha that’s great!]

[Hightail it back to the town (as fast as we can while still keeping an eye out for scouting parties, I say.]

[Agreed! Run far away!]

OOC: Agreed lets get out of here as quickly as possible.

You make your way back toward Greenest. The moon is full in the sky, so you have enough light to travel by without lighting any torches. When you get to the outcrops where you were ambushed, you take a look behind you and see, in the distance, that enough fires are being lit in the camp that you can see the rough shape of the plateaus against the night sky from here. At your current pace, you can probably make it back to the small town before sunrise, but you would have to risk Exhaustion to do so. Would you like to keep going, or try to find a place to set up camp?

"I say we keep moving, I know we're going to need to rest at some point but I don't want to do it out here in the open. On top of that they surely know were gone by now and if Fralum is the kind of person I think she is, she won't enjoy being embarrassed letting her prisoners talk their way out of captivity, I do hope that girl is ok. Oh and nice job on the guard tower by the way Rex."

“Thanks. To be honest, I figured that our plan was so insane, no normal person would actually ever believe it. Seems I was right on the money.”

"Agreed, we should keep moving." Fjordix was slightly embarrassed that they had gotten caught in the first place, feeling he might have caused it. 

You continue on your way. After an hour has past, you are really starting to feel that you are pushing your bodies beyond their normal limits. Everyone roll a Constitution Saving Throw.
