[There are 14 gathered in the cave. 8 prisoners (including Leosin), and 6 adventurers.]
Toward the end of the first watch, Rex notices a group of about 10-15 figures coming from the direction of the camp and heading toward Greenest. They don't seem to have spotted your trail leading away from the path as they continue past. They're too far away to glean too many details, but you think you see a blue half-dragon next to a figure wearing a purple cloak.
The second and third watches pass by uneventfully.
During the last watch the sun is coming up over the horizon. Near the end of this watch, Novot sees a group moving slowly down the path coming from Greenest. As they get closer, Novot can see that there appear to be scouts looking for tracks heading off the path. Fortunately, the rocky terrain doesn't offer many opportunities to leave tracks behind and they pass by the spot where you left the path. The final watch ends about 30 minutes after they are too far away to be seen any longer.
What would you like to do now?
[You have successfully completed a long rest. If any of you have questions about how to reflect that on your character sheets, just let me know.]
After we perform our morning oblations, Novot says, "it's a straight shot to the town from here. They were definitely looking for us last night." She nods to Arliden. "Well done on covering our tracks, by the way. Does anyone think they'd be able to scout ahead, to make sure that we walk into another trap?"

“Same with Fjordix’s old lover, Langdedrosa. Him and someone in a purple robe, who I can only assume is Rezmir. I think that around now’s the best time to get moving.”

“Thanks Novot! Was hoping we would get at least semi-decent sleep. I’m ready to move whenever everyone else is, but we may want to stay off the road or send out a forward scout.”
and with that Arliden turns his attentions to the other former prisoners. Trying to determine if they all look fit to move, just get an overall assessment of their general physical state.
“So... literally none of us. Let’s recap: seven-foot dragon man, giant man that hates dragons, orc in heavy armor, and a redhead. We are the most conspicuous people.”

OOC: Assuming all information was shared from the watch.
Fjordix stretches, the day before having worn on his muscles, "More people went towards Greenest than returned"
[Just realized how I wasn't clear. The entire group was heading back. The scouts seen during the last watch were at the front, but everyone else was there, including the half-dragon and figure in a purple cloak.]
If Arliden would like to act as scout, make a Dexterity (Stealth) check and a Wisdom (Perception) check.
Arliden scouts ahead for the trip back to Greenest. About an hour away from the town, he sees a multicolored stone disk just off the path. Aside from that, the trip back is uneventful.
Would you prefer to go straight to the Keep, or find Nessim (the one who asked you to find Leosin)?
You lead the rescued prisoners to the Keep and find Governor Nighthill. "You've returned! Thank Chauntea! And I see you brought some of our townspeople back. Our medics will see to them immediately." As he says this, he waves over a group of people to have them take the others away to make sure they are healthy. Leosin, however, stays behind. Governor Nighthill continues, "Please, tell me all you have learned. Will they be coming back?"

At the mention of an ex lover Fjordix spits on the ground in disgust. "I agree we need a forward scout, someone small, and stealthy"

[+ Guidance, naturally :) ]
Saul - Reluctant Saviors of Luskan (5e)
Nat - Guild Living (4e)
Stealth: 23
Perception: 14
and then I’ll just add 3 to whichever of the two rolls is lower.

[I vote Keep - we drop the bunch of prisoners off there (maybe collect a reward), then find Nessim.]

Keep first
