[An epic tragedy of errors, that's what we are]

Fjordix picks up on this going south and frantically comes up with something, "Look, a dragon killed my family, my friends, everyone I knew and loved" Fjordix flashed back to the parts of this story that were true, watching as the dragon tore apart the ship again, and again, he could feel anger and sadness welling inside his heart, "I wanted nothing more than to slay every dragon I came across since then!" Fjordix stops and lets out a sigh, "But I realized back in Greenest that I am not strong enough, and I'll probably never be strong enough. So now I'm afraid, and frankly I'd rather be afraid and protected by those that killed my family, then squished under the boot of an enemy far stronger than me."

[Ow. That hurts. Rex will remember Fjordix swallowing his pride]

Rex starts to move away, but the guards point their swords at him and one says, "I said stay where you are! We'll let the Wearer of Purple sort this out. Now, nice and easy, drop your weapons."

By this time, you are surrounded by 20 cultists, and the whole camp seems to be coming down from its revelry and becoming more alert.

[Sorry for being so absent, this last week has been rough]

Arliden will drop his Dagger and as he realizes they are surrounded at this point just say to the rest of the group, "Well we came to join right? I'm sure we'd be questioned eventually anyway, may as well just get it over with."

Rex has a good bonus to Deception, yet rolls horribly. Rex is gonna try: 8. “Do you know who you are speaking to? I am Baron Moore of the Sacred Queen, Wearer of Purple. I have been invited here on Langdedrosa’s good grace. These are my disciples that I have converted. You will show respect!”

A feminine voice calls out, "Baron Moore! I apologize for my guards' disrespect. They will be dealt with accordingly. Though, I must admit a bit of surprise to see you here. I thought we were supposed to meet up with you in Neverwinter."

When you locate the speaker, Rex recognizes her as Frulam Mondath.

[Aaaand my bowels slowly unclench]

Inwardly, Rex is shouting his favorite curse, “Terrak! Terrak! Terrak!” 

However, outwardly, Baron Moore gives a gentle bow, “[Insert Appropriate Title for a Wearer of Purple Here, Lady, Lord, Something] Frulam, our Queen graces me with your presence once more I see.  Yes, it was somewhat of a surprise myself.  Langdedrosa invited me here. I believe that he mentioned some sort of rogue Dragonborn shouting about a dead god. Unfortunately, theology has never been a strong suit of mine, so I’m afraid it’s all Orc to me.”

Thankfully, Rex is looking human right now.

Fjordix stands nearby, nervously, he has not yet yielded his weapon and he won't if he can get away with it.

"Ah, so he mentioned the 'Prophet' to you, then?" She does air quotes when she says prophet. "A minor nuisance, I assure you. In fact, he and his cohorts will be executed by dawn."

“Excellent! One less fool in the world. How has the raid against this Greenhouse, or whatever this town is called. What paltry sums have they offered up?”

Meanwhile, in his own head,

“What do we do!? What do we do!? She’s on to me! Terrak! I know she knows! Come on Rex! Talk her out of here!”

Meanwhile, in his companions’ heads via telepathy,

“Going good guys!”

Arliden thinks back at Rex

Keep it up Rex my man ... .. . Wait he can't hear my thoughts back can he... . ..   ... I wonder if I could learn Telepathy and then inspire people telepathically ..  hmmmmmm......mental note to look into that later.
