Ghenesh's sword pierces one kobold while Valharri's mace smashes into another. Both fall dead.
Rex, it is your turn.
[FYI, I forgot to award you (Rex) inspiration for playing up your flaw earlier, but I meant to. You can give yourself advantage on one attack roll, saving throw, or ability check.]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
[Ooo sweet! I shall hopefully use it to great effect!]
Rex unhooks his mace and puts a clawed hand over one side of his face. He leans down to the kobold in front of him, "Listen little dude... I don't really want to kill you, but I've lost a lot of blood. You're kinda the one that stabbed me, but I'm not really sure if you're still real... so I'm just gonna hit you with this thing." Rex hefts his mace and swings at the kobold, "Something, something, unified dragons!" [10 for 7 bludgeoning damage]
Several of the group sees a man with flame red hair step out of a building a few yards past where they have engaged the kobolds. He is holding a lyre in his hand and quickly begins to strum a vibrant tune, he looks towards the monk that seems to be about to strike out and calls to him, "Show these fools what you can do." (As a bonus action Arliden will grant Monk-e a d6 of Bardic Inspiration). He then glances as the Cultist and begins to whisper into his mind, "Look around you, your group lies dead and bleeding on the floor while all you've managed to do is slightly injure a dragonborn, soon you will die and no-one will even remember your place in this world. So much for making something of yourself; your mother would be ashamed," and he will cast Dissonant Whispers on the cultist (Wisdom save DC 14 or take 11 physic damage; takes half on a successful save).
Arliden will then use his movement to duck back inside the house just to be sure.
The cultist holds her head as Arliden's whispers reasons in her mind. "We're all going to die, and it's my fault. My mother would be ashamed!"
[She takes 5 damage from the assault. Monk-E, you're up. There's a very distraught cultist and a kobold in front of you.]
Monk-E raises his shortsword over his head and brings it down on the human (Attack: 19 Damage: 11). Followed by a punch to the throat of either the human if still standing, or do the kobold (Attack: 11 Damage: 9).
I will hold off on using the inspiration by Arliden until after the roll, and before DM tells me if hit or not. I'll edit below...
**edit**
I'll use inspiration against the kobold attack. Please add 1 to the attack roll.
Rex loud whispers, "Thank you magic man. I'm going to take a nap now," and falls over onto his face. A muffled "Please heal me," can be heard from the dragonborn.

"The keep isn't far, now," Linan says as she attempts to help Rex to his feet. "If we hurry, we should be able to get there before they close the front gate."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the party approaches his direction the young man steps from the door and moves towards the injured dragonborn, as he does so the melody changes to a calm soothing tone. "Don't worry you'll make it just fine," and touching his shouldering Arliden will cast, Cure Wounds healing him for 9. "I'm not sure who you all are but we seem to find ourselves in a similarly awful situation. While proper introductions can wait, I'd be more than happy to help get us all to this keep in one piece."
Valharri nods to the new man. "Thank you, kind stranger. With all my healing capabilities tapped out, I feared he wouldn't make it." she says graciously.
Rex's eyes bolt awake as healing energy flows into him, "Holy terrak! I feelfantastic!" Rex gets up off both of his compatriots' shoulders and shakes Arliden, "A pleasure to meet you, stranger. The name's Rex'aliha. We're heading to a stronghold, so you're more than welcome to join us."

"Nice to meet you Rex'aliha, I am Arliden. I look forward to meeting you all," he nods to the rest of the group, "and finding out why you're coming into the city, and not fleeing the city like everyone else. But maybe," and he glances up towards the sky and around at smoking buildings, "we should prioritize getting indoors."
You continue your journey toward the keep. When the gate is finally in sight, you realize that, in the confusion, Nydella disappeared. As you get nearer, you notice another patrol coming your way. This patrol is larger than the others. 6 kobolds (one of them has wings) and 4 cultists. If Linan's children are carried, you might be able to make it to the safety of the keep before the patrol catches up to you.
Fjordix is torn between protecting the children, and wanting to put these kobolds to bed in the soil on which they wreak havoc. He looks over to the frightened children, he cannot risk them being taken by the kobolds if he were to fall in battle. "Grab the children, lets get to the keep!" he says to the others as he grabs of as many children as his strong arms can carry and begins to run to towards the keep.

Fjordix's glaive is knocked away by the kobold he attacked.
Ghenesh, what would you like to do?
"Good job green arrow guy! I knew you could do it! You're my beeest friend..."

Rex's mace crushes the kobolds face in.
Arliden, you're up. There are 2 enemies left: 1 human and 1 kobold.
[None can stand against the bleeding dragonborn!... I mean, he can't stand against anybody either, but he's an effective glass cannon!]
