Fjordix shakes his head as the two talkers banter with the enemy, while all he wants to do is remove their dragon loving heads from their shoulders. He aims at one of the cultists wearing armor and brings his glaive down harshly
Attack: 13 Damage: 5
He then takes a quick breath, steel himself against the enemy (Second Wind) for 11 hp restored.
When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.
Rerolling that 1 on my damage due to Great Weapon Fighting: 8
Fjordix's glaive slashes through the cultist, felling him in one swing.
Arryn, there are now just 2 cultists remaining. One in leather armor, and one in splint. Neither of them look particularly hurt. What would you like to do?
“Now that we’ve killed several of your allies faster than you blink, I think this is a good time to inform you of some options. My god, Io, is a very jealous god, and would probably find you guys, who oppose his reign, a delicious snack. However, he gets that Tiamat isn’t giving you the full story. So, I’m gonna give you two a chance, attack us and die, or, lay down your weapons, walk away, and find yourself in Io’s good grace. Which’ll it be?”

[That's a bit long for between turns and will require an intimidation check. When your turn comes around, you can make that roll or change your mind if you feel the circumstances have changed enough.]
Arryn's swing takes a slightly odd angle and glances off the cultist's armor, doing no damage. The cultist looks at Arryn, then to the other cultist, nods slowly, and backs away from the battle line [disengages], moving as far away as he can.
Monk-E leaps toward the cultist in splint mail, short sword first [23 for 9 piercing damage. He then spends a ki point to do a flurry of blows:
Flurry attack 1: 15 for 10 bludgeoning damage. Flurry attack 2: 18 for 8 bludgeoning damage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Monk-E's sword pierces throw a gap in the splint armor. He pulls his sword out, following through with a haymaker punch that doesn't connect. Finally, he brings his leg up in a crushing roundhouse kick that connects with the cultists head.
The cultist, seeing a much bigger threat in Monk-E now takes his swings at him.
Attack 1 [at disadvantage]: 18 for 6 slashing damage. Attack 2: 25 for 5 slashing damage.

Rex raises a hand as the stardust swirls around his hand, “Well, don’t say we didn’t warn you.” Before firing an Eldritch Blast towards the center of the cultist. Attack: 25 Damage: 10 force damage.
Arliden looks at the remaining cultist and calls out in a sing-song voice, "At first you were.." and then stops suddenly and starts muttering not so quietly "Wait wait, not that one. Oh, maybe....or I could talk about his dead friends, or how much the next six second will hurt. Hmm, what rhymes with corpse."
Then he looks up and the cultist and yells, "Oh **** it, you're not even worth thinking up lyrics for, you suck that bad." And he casts Vicious Mockery [DC 14 Wisdom Save or 4 damage and disadvantage on his next attack roll]
[the one-two punch! you're like the Bash Brothers, just with words instead of hockey sticks]

Monk-E is able to dodge out of the way of both attacks.
Novot, you're up. There's one very angry cultist in front of you, and 1 cultist carefully backing away.
[would I have to take an AoO from angry splint man in order to get in melee with the fleeing cultist?]

[No. Currently, Arryn, Fjordix, and Monk-E are the only ones in melee range with him.]
Worried that a stray cultist might raise the alarm, Novot runs up and tries to subdue him. [Non-lethal if possible. Att: 18. Dmg: 10.]

Novot's hammer crashes into the cultist, knocking him unconscious.
Rex, you're up. There's just the big, mad cultist in splint armor left.
Rex raises a hand as the stardust swirls around his hand, “Well, don’t say we didn’t warn you.” Before firing an Eldritch Blast towards the center of the cultist. Attack: 25 Damage: 10 force damage.

The blast hits the cultist's chest but does nothing more than leave a little mark on the splint armor.
