Arliden, will take the map if no-one else does due to his interest in geography and map making interests. He also picks up, just randomly one of the books that has poetry about dragons and then we move to actually give Frulam herself a pat down.
[We should take the Key for sure but Arliden doesn't specifically want it.
OOC: Oh no, I feel bad now... the bad poetry has humanized her to me! Quick, remind me of her atrocities!
Rex looks over the notes, he’s heard of this Rezmir, right?
[Rezmir has definitely come up in the campaign before. She was the black half-dragon that was in charge of the camp. I don't know how much the rest of the group knows, but Rex knows that Rezmir is one of the 5 wyrmspeakers, the highest rank in the Cult of the Dragon (one for each color of chromatic dragon).]
Frulam doesn't have anything noteworthy on her person.
Rex will grab the key, regalia, basically everything of note described by our good DM. Meanwhile, Rex speaks up, “Looks like I might have a lead on our next target, or at the very least, a step in the right direction: Naerytar. Seems like there was a shipment. Could be another dragon.”

Fjordix grabbed ahold of anything that looked even slightly valuable and stored it in his bag and then headed for the rope back down. He figured he'd be asked to carry the egg(s), as one of the stronger members of the group. He didn't want to do that, he wanted to smash them, and what would the people of Greenest think?
When we get back to the egg Arliden will attempt to carry it, if he can't alone he'll ask Rex to help. There is no way he would ask Fjordix to do it knowing how he feels about the whole thing.
"Hang on." Novot gestures to Fjordix to help her lift the heaviest furniture in the room [the desk? is there a bed or something?] and quietly move it in front of the door into the room. "Just in case there's someone around here we haven't taken care of."

You block the path from the guard's room to Frulam's chambers and make your way down the rope ladder. Backtracking your way through the cave, with a stop to pick up the dragon egg(s) on your way [I think there were technically 2 dragon eggs left, but only Rex and Arliden were aware of the third one.]
You make your way back to Greenest, and Governor Nighthill greets you with delight and respect after you briefly fill him in on what happened. He tells you that, before Leosin Erlanthar left town, he bought horses and riding gear for you to speed your journey to Elturel. The horses are being kept at the dealer’s stables until you are ready to leave for Elturel; all their costs are paid for. He estimates that, on horseback, you should be able to travel the 200 miles from Greenest to Elturel in about six days. Leosin also left word that he might be hard to find and to seek out a paladin by the name of Ontharr Frume in Elturel if finding Leosin isn't working.
OOC: Are we planning on lugging these Dragon Eggs everywhere we go? If so we might want to see about investing in a wagon. Also weren't we to get paid by Governor Nighthill or something? It's been so long lol
[Leosin offered you 150 gp each to bring him information regarding if the cultists are preparing to conduct another raid, or a large body of them marches away, or if anything substantial is carried into or out of the cave.]

OOC: My plan was to actually offer the eggs to Greenest. That way, they could raise them to defend the town

Governor Nighthill looks a bit surprised and concerned at the offer of the dragon eggs. "I...I wouldn't have the faintest clue how to raise a dragon. Perhaps Escobert or, maybe, Eadyan...? Somehow, we will manage. Thank you for this gracious gift. You all have done more for my town than I could ever hope to repay. Because of this, I am sad to say I have one more boon I ask of you. When you get to Elturel, would you see if someone who knows anything about dragons could help us raise these 2 as defenders of our town?"
[Having 2 dragons as defenders of this rural town will probably greatly change the power dynamics of this part of Faerûn.]
"Absolutely Governor, we'd be more than happy to look into that. Hopefully this works out for both the creatures and the town. I can't image any future raiders wanting to assault a town with a few friendly dragons on their side."
Rex claps his claws together, “Of course, Mayor, count their companionship as blessings from Io. However, a warning for you. You will treat them with kindness, with affection, and with a firm, yet respectful hand. They are gifts from Io, treat them as such.”

"Then I think it's time we take our leave and head back to Greenest for the time being. Any objections?"
“Agreed. Let’s grab the egg and be on our way.” Rex sets off.

Fjordix nodded his head and helped Novot move the furniture in the room to provide the barrier, then returned to the rope to head out.
