There is no door, but Krumdak knocks on the wall anyway. He suddenly hears a voice within his head. "I'm here. Are you the one who's been vandalising my golems? One just came in with a large dent and was all scratched up. And do tell whoever is climbing Meg to stop. She is not a junglegym!"

I get the feeling we aren't supposed to enter. Some prefer not to do business in person after all.
There a metallic, irritated sigh from within Gunnar’s helmet, “Then they should be careful where they fire their orbs.” A glowing eye darts down the visor to Verrynia, “You seem to understand how these people work. Thoughts?”

I wouldn't claim to know anything about crazy people in magic towers, but if they prefer to do their business at a distance, this might be as close as we get. Not that there's anything wrong with using drop points for transactions.
Verrynia turns to Khurah.
You seem quite interested in this place. What do you think?
I'm heading north tomorrow morning and will be away from home all of the next week. I hope to be able to continue to play, but if I disappear, feel free to bot me if you so desire.
Krumdak replies to the voice in his head, a little spooked by it "Yes! Hello, I'm Krumdak Stonefist. Sorry about my companions, I will try to get them to stop. We were just a bit fascinated by your tower and my friend here (pointing to Xaprax) just wanted to take a closer look at your golem there. Might I ask, who are you?"
Waiting a reply Krumdak turns to the group "Stop destroying everything."
Everyone hears the same voice Krumdak heard earlier, but its emitting audibly from the mouth of the giant golem "Awfully rude of you to climb, or even touch the golem before asking permission. They're my property, and I would very much like it if you left them alone. Especially the messengers. Tin isn't the strongest of metals, but it gets the job done. So, Krumdak Stonefist with companions, what can I do for you? When you answer, please, do address me as Lady Dorthyra.. or Miss Nuala, if you think you are of a high enough stature." The voice is smooth and feminine and for each word the eyes of the golem glow again. They fade back to the dull, inert state after the voice finishes speaking.

"Ah. I tend to forget people don't see the routes. Look below your feet. See the light slate grey pebbles there? No? That is because they're a foot under ground. Tracks for the tinmen to follow. You learn to live with it, newcomer. The others have." The large golem bends down suddenly, leaning closer to Gunnar as if to inspect him. "Your armor is crude, but the magics within are impressive. Feel free to call me Miss Nuala. Madam makes me sound far too old."
Investigation check to make out the patterns of the messengers passing by. "They might be my creations, and I can control them as I wish, but they are in no way under my employment, dear. I am their master, but I rent them out to the other council members, they're cheaper than using errand boys and skinbags. My creations only need to charge up here in my tower from time to time... but yes, business is certainly booming".

The tin golems come from all manner of directions, and not often enough for Verrynia to make out exactly where their pathways go. The female voice emitting from the golem pipes up again. "I am terribly sorry, but did you just come here to compliment me? Not that I complain about it, most people come asking favors, not bearing praise. If you don't have anything to ask of me I'm afraid I have to get back to my work. Please, don't climb Meg again." She gestures to Xarprax, who whistles nonchalantly pretending like nothing of the sort ever happened.

The golem goes inert again, and after a few long seconds a hole opens in the lower section of the tower once more, this time something comes out. Another golem, but much more sophisticated, it is made out of finely carved wood and bears a single beautifully cut emerald in its forehead. The emerald starts glowing and you once more hear the voice of Nuala. "Speaking through Meg is rather strange, Woody here is much more suited for conversations like this. So.. you've dealt with the Kuo-Toa? Awful creatures, not the brightest but they have the most exquisite fantasy. I've heard they worship anything, even to the point of their collective imagination creating entirely new demigods themselves! There are actual records of a burning shoe with horns trampling an entire fishing village as they were swarmed with the monstrous fish!a. The wooden golem rests its hands on its hips in a very, non-golem like manner. "I suppose that like any creature with enough devotion to a god can cast divine spells, even if the god is a... woman with a lobster head or something stupid like that. To help you I need more information. Did they use any spells in particular and what did they focus their spells through?"
