The Warforged slightly shrugs in place, heading down into the bottom deck that leads to his acquainted room from earlier. He sits atop the bed, before he produces the shortbow of tairnadal design, wrapping it around a leftover scarf in his knapsack with its gray color; black strips along it aswell, althought it seems that it is from age rather than part of its original design. He places it in a lockbox presumably in his room. His actual scarf is of the same gray color, albeit far more aged. He removes the longbow from his back, having it properly sheathed inside of a silver bronze-lined sheathe strapped onto his knapsack itself.
He awaits for a few hours while powered down, resting cross-legged on the bed without laying down. After awhile, he decides to leave the ship for a small dip into the shore of the fishermen's village, aiming to douse his entire frame with water to "refresh" some of his internal and most of his external structures.
Beowulf rest on the ship and get up early to head to Mythrras and pick up some smiths tools. He will practise his craft before the group departs. He will use it to sharpen his swords and get some practise with the tools.
After doing so he will prepare his gear and wait for the others on the ship, not wanting to get into town yet.
The party moves to the inn to meet with the rest of their companions and a group of villagers. A council of some sort.
Lener greets each of you warmly and it is obvious that he has had a long night and a short rest.
"Once again I wanted to thank you for what you did for us. We don't have much to offer but if you need anything don't hesitate to ask." he waits for breakfast to arrive and waits for everyone to dig in before continuing.
"We never had any problems of that sort before but lately it seems like the Host is turning its back on us. It's not an easy life we have chosen here but my people are strong and.. headstrong. I want to know what you intend to do next because we could always use people like you here in our community. "
Ambre looks to the others, her finished project standing guard by her feet as she listens to everything that happened, "We're here looking for suitable candidates to work upon our ship."
The Warforged does not eat, but scans his party as they do. Unfamiliar to such customs of hunger, he traces his fingers along the table while looking at the others. He focuses his attention to Lener Jost as he speaks, a thought clicks as he hears both Ambre and Walben reply, "Directions to which field the wasps were nestled in is necessary knowledge for us to continue further inspection," he adds, his matter-of-factly sounding breeze for a voice rumbles out.
For those who are keen on seeing the Warforged's external frame, it would look as though the vines, moss and plantation or whatnot is considerably moistened compared to yesterday. His metal glints off still droplets of liquid.
Beowulf will mainly be focussed on the breakfast. He will listen in but not say anything cause hes to busy eating. Not with the best table manners either.
He nods when Walben and Ambre mention we will take care of the wasps.
Once given the material or suit of mail Fizz decides to stay on the ship he breaks the infusion with his studded leather and after a nights sleep he works on the new.
Marcus takes a page out of Beo's book and remains silent, eating breakfast but listening careful to all that's discussed here. Every now and then his eyes can be seen pointing in the direction of Ambres latest "project", trying to determine its nature.
The steel contraption seems to be made in the image of a mastiff, laying by Ambre's feet, though its ears perk up at any noises that could be considered out of the ordinary. It occasional makes eye contact with Marcus, though it never really does anything but scanning the areas it can visually see.
Thom is neither a strategically minded nor a leader. He is a man who follows orders, what is best, what is the law, that is what Thom does best. So he sits and listens.
Lener nods as you speak, " The wasps nest are North East of here in the forest just before the mountain range begins. It is not far from here. We tried to get them away once but almost lost someone. Now that the queen is dead it might be easier. I have to tell you though, they were never this aggressive. Always left us alone. They even regulated the wildlife." He shrugs. "We appreciate the fact that you can see this through. We will have a few gold coins for you when this is done."
" Gino came and told us the blade is hiring. A few men and women are going to complete your crew."
The rest of the breakfast is just small talk and news sharing. After a while people go back to their day and Lener finally gets up.
" Thanks again for everything. We are grateful. We will always welcome you if you seek a place to stay."
"Your hospitality is unwarranted. We merely did what we would do in the situation,"his tone can be interpreted as a cold breeze of a rumbling thunder with leaves as he speaks, only talking as though necessary by his thoughts. He stands and bows courteously to Lener Jost, gesturing to his companions to do so aswell. He draws the longbow, inspecting the bowstring and the bow's wood itself, before returning his gaze to Lener to continue, "We will dispatch these wasps to where they will only regulate the wildlife once more. Though, if it happens on a regular basis, it will be hard to contain. I wish our operation a successful attempt," Fletcher says, looking at the rest of the party as a guilty sting shoots up from the exposed hole to his mind, fearing a memory as he re-enters consciousness shortly after. It seems as though his eyes went dull for a moment, but his body is still. He lightly shakes himself, and then returns to a neutral posture while standing.
Ambre looks to Marcus, "He's a mechanically automated construct, which you might know better as a steel defender. He's actually my 21st attempt at creating a successful version. I'm proud to say that he appears to be successful so far. His full title is Mechanically Automated Construct no. 21, but you can call him M.A.C., or 21, or perhaps Mac," Ambre looks down at him. "I think Mac sounds nice."
Ambre frowns at the mention of the higher wasp aggression, "Their higher aggression might have something to do with the symbols we found on the queen before they faded. It might be a good idea to keep an eye out for more of those symbols so we can properly document them. Especially if they fade not long after the death of the creature."
"Yes,"Ambre agrees with Thom, "this is something that should never have been aloud to get as bad as it has. Anyone who has the capabilities to would do it. I'm just glad we arrived before this place became completely overrun by giant wasps."
"Honestly I can do it myself its an Artificer magic thing. I have my own smiths tools"
he says with a smile as he carefully wraps the potions in a cloth and puts them in his pack
"But if you have Mail may I have a look? It does not matter if it fits as long as its heavy armor."
he looks to Ambre
"We need to study those find out what the formula is."
