Lavena pockets the playing cards. She then glances at what was in the other cabinet, eyebrow raising at the assorted weapons. "nice." She says. "Can anyone use those?" She asks. She will wait for the others to be ready. "Shall I check that final door?" she asks the group, heading towards the final door they have not checked yet.
Crossbows are too machiny for my taste. And why stuff the wolves? That's gross. Sure, Red L, move on to mystery door number 4 (or 5 depending how you count the dining room doubles) maybe something good finally?

This door leads to the kitchen. It's tidy, with dishware, cookware, and utensils neatly placed on shelves. A worktable has a cutting board and rolling pin atop it. A stone, dome-shaped oven stands near the east wall, its bent iron stovepipe connecting to a hole in the ceiling. Behind the stove and to the left is a thin door. Another small door, about 2 ft tall, is in the opposite corner.

Scanning the kitchen, Lavena moves towards the thin door. Her colorful tunic sways as she moves and the mask she wears sparkles in the light from the wall sconces. She seems to glide as she moves, one of her hands tucking some of her red hair behind her ear as she nears the door. Having no reason to expect this door to be trapped, since none have been so far, she opens the thin door and glances inside.
Elias will ask Guenhyvar: "That hand crossbow looks like it would suit you the best. I also don't find much use for crossbows but, I don't think we need to leave the hand crossbow behind."
Noting the drift from rescue to delving We are taking weapons now? Are we moving on soon to yoinking shinies? Not passing judgment, mind, I guess at some point this goes from rescuing poor folk to fighting our way out of a devious trap. and to the very shiny nature of the place Could it be no time is passing inside here? Seems unnaturally well preserved compared to the outside world.

"I didn't 'yoink' the silverware now, did? We are trapped in here, potentially with a monster. This weapon packs a bigger punch than my bow. I'm not going to die when I might have lived just for propriety sake." Nebin says, feeling perturbed. "And if we do find these parents and they want their bow back they can have it. Once we're out safe."
Elias says: "I also am not much for looting a family"s possessions but I agree with Nebin. Anything that can be used to fight a "monster" we should use."
Seeing nothing in the pantry, Lavena moves to the smaller door she had seen. She frowns as she opens it, trying to figure out what such a short door would be fore.
Lavena comes back out of the kitchen. "Just a small dumbwaiter in there, but most of us are not going to fit in there." She informs the others. She pushes a hand through her mass of red hair as she glances around.

"Anyone able to unlock that?" Lavena asks, nodding to the locked one. She opens the unlocked one.
Guenhyvar will move over and check out the lock, and assuming its not trapped or anything, try and open it.
Investigation: 5
Thieves' Tools: 25
You get it open with relative ease, and inside is a heavy crossbow, a light crossbow, a hand crossbow, and 20 bolts for each weapon.
The unlocked cabinet has a small box with a deck of playing cards, and an assortment of wine glasses.
Nothing else is of interest in the room. There is one more door on this floor.

Guenhyvar will open the cabinet to everyone, "Anyone need a crossbow?"

Guenhyvar will nod and put it in his pack for now.
(In game, crossbow bolts are crossbow bolts, but I’m assuming the other two types won’t work so just 20?)
Nebin takes the light crossbow and 20 bolts for it. "A bit fiddly to load, but still nice. I'll give one a shot."
(They'll work....60 bolts to collect for them)
Lavena peeks into a fully loaded pantry. All the food appears fresh.

Looking through the room "Take whatever you can." shrugging "They're going to owe us if we make it out anyways."

Lavena opens the door to a small dumbwaiter. Looks like Nebin might be able to just squeeze in, but it's way too small for anyone else.
