MB's Curse of Strahd

"Seems like you guys handled that nicely."  Lavena says, impressed by her new companion's abilities.  "Shall we continue on and see what is behind that door the thing was standing near?"

Dust and cobwebs shroud an elegantly appointed bedroom. There are a set of stained glass double doors at the end of the room, and a door that is cracked open on the other wall.

Ugh, more searching Rontevich enters the room and looks around Perception 15

Lavena moves through the room, checking hte cracked door first.

Passive perception 18, passive investigation 22.

Guenhyvar will check the armor to be sure its finished and see if ther is anything useful, “Thank you, miss.”

Elisha will follow the others.

Rontevich, the bedroom contains a large bed, two end tables, and a wardrobe. Mounted on the wall next to the wardrobe is a full-length mirror with an ornate wooden frame carved to look like ivy and berries.

Looking into the room with the cracked door, Lavena sees a nursery that contains a crib covered with a hanging black shroud.

Guenhyvar, the armor seems like it is down for good. There are a few useable pieces of it, if someone was skilled at smithing they could probably make something of it.

If Guenhyvar doesn't want the armor pieces Elias will take the parts that are usable. 

 Rontevich will ritual up Detect Magic while the others search their bits - he will scan the rooms then check out the mirror

If Lavena doesn't notice anything of interest in the nursery she would move to the double doors.

Guenhyvar would help Elias gather up any usable pieces.

 Elias thanks Guenhyvar for the help in salvaging the plate. When they gather the good pieces he will then quickly follow the others.

The double doors open to a balcony that seems to overlook the front of the house, but the mist has gotten so dense it's hard to be sure.

Elias, you find enough useable pieces that a skilled armorer could shore up your current armor enough to be the equivalent of splint mail.

Ront, you don't detect magic anymore, but you do notice eyeballs hidden in the carvings around the mirror, and what looks to be scuff marks in the floor underneath it, indicating this mirror might be a door.

Can Saxis see those kids outside??

You can barely see the porch where you left them...but it looks empty.

Guenhyvar will try to get out onto the balcony, "Since the door didn't work, maybe we can get out this way."

Seeing Guen trying the balcony door if it gives any resistance Saxis will help. "So if this doesn't work we check the cellar?"

I have not seen any way to the cellar - has anyone? Hopefully one of these hidden passages lead somewhere. I guess I care a lot more about out than cellar monster at this point
