That's why you're supposed to roll after committing to use the spell slot. :)
The shard of ice hits the center-most of the toads, which seems to cause it to question its decision to investigate your party as a food source. You can see its resolve harden, however, as its eyes dart from Tarek to you, Torrent.
The exploding shard blasts the center toad and those on its left and right.
The center toad ducks under the blast of ice particles just in time, while those on its flanks get caught in the spray, coating them with glittering frost.
You can move 15 feet through the mud towards Anakis, which, assuming you're on the left end of the party, would put you within 5 feet of her for the moment.
Retcon related to Anakis and the area of dense foliage: The thicket of sedge is high enough to remain unseen while standing, although the toads are too big to be hidden from view there. This would have given Anakis advantage on her attack on her last turn, so roll another d20 to see if your hit was critical.
Also, the movement you've described would take Anakis out of the ticket. (She's only a few feet inside of it.) But she can remain inside the thicket while moving away from the toad coming towards her by moving along its edge, in which case she would've had advantage on her current attack as well. So roll another d20 to see if this hit's a critical as well if that (or attacking before you move) is what you want to do.
(Sorry for the retcons, everybody. I'm still working out how to get some of the landscape features to interact with the rules the way I intended.)

(That's no problem. I'm still getting used to trying to picture the battlefield in my mind as well).
Second roll on first attack : 18
Second roll on second attack: 9
(The movement through the thicket after the second attack - will that take me further away from the party? & how far away from that toad will it put me as well?)
The toad is zapped with cold again, which slows its leaping as it continues towards you. Right now, it's about 40 feet away, on the other side of the thicket which is adjacent to the pool. Torrent is standing 5 feet to your right (assuming you're facing the toad) in the marshy field, and the rest of the party is in a group 20 to 35 feet beyond him. Another toad is actually in the thicket between you and the one that you've attacked, this one only about 25 feet away from you. Moving back along the edge of the thicket, but staying within it, will put you about 20 feet from Torrent and 35 feet from the nearest other party member. It will also get you 55 feet away from the toad. Arcing around the back of the party will also get you 55 feet from the toad but will expose you to its view as well.
Anakis will stay in the thicket, but now aware of the other toad in the thicket she will want to try and angle herself from both to keep some distance.
Right, they're both in the same direction, so now the one pursuing you is 55 feet away and the other one (which is the one farthest left in the line of toads facing off with the party) is 40 feet away from you.
The toad that's chasing Anakis, moving sluggishly due to the frost that clings to its body, makes two short hops through the brush of 10 feet each, coming to a point 35 feet from her.
Meanwhile, seeing Torrent moving across its field of vision, the next toad in line (the one that landed in the thicket) leaps forward 20 feet and once again assumes a defensive posture as it examines its new prey with interest. It looks ready to dodge any attacks.
The four other toads do the same, leaping forward 20 feet and landing with a splat in the mud 10 feet from the rest of the party. They stand with their legs as close to straight, fully extended, and directly beneath them as toads can manage, bringing their puffed up bodies to a formidable height, their heads lowered defensively, They watch you warily, waiting to see what their prey does next. While in this defensive posture, attacks against them (and the one approaching Torrent) will have disadvantage.
(Awesome. Can Anakis tell if she’s doing much damage to this toad? I’m sure I haven’t but from a character standpoint, she’d have no idea how much they could take & would be trying to figure it out)
Tarek and Ulben, the two of you are next. A line of five, leathery-skinned giant toads stands no less than 10 feet from you and your companions, awaiting your next move. The one in the middle is bleeding from its mouth and, along with the two on either side of it (the largest two of the bunch), is caked with frost. They sniff the air in your direction, eager to find out whether they've found something good to eat.

After his prayer, Tarek, feeling the radiance of Pelor descending on him to guide him (using his Inspiration to cancel out the disadvantage), moves toward the toad in the middle, trying to stay 5 feet away from it. He will unsheath his rapier and strike at the toad. (Attack: 24 Damage: 10)
Ulben goes to run off to the side and away from the toads, but trips, rolls, back to his feet and his walking stick ends up swing at the toad on the end.
Dex check if you want it for his bumbling actions. 22 +2 if you want it to be a saving throw.
Fear momentarily flashes through the huge eyes of the central toad as it takes a blow from Tarek's rapier, and it considers whether he is prey or predator, but it quickly overcomes the urge to escape, and as it gazes at you, Tarek, the fear in its eyes is soon replaced by a predator's fixation.
The toad on the far right doesn't even need to duck to avoid the wild swing of Ulben's staff. Would you like to have Ulben make an unarmed strike? Remember that the attack will have disadvantage because the toad is ready to dodge out of the way.
The toad tries to pull its head back out of the way of Ulben’s arm swing, but the erratic movement of Ulben’s feet causes it to misjudge, and it gets hit squarely on the snout.
Aluzira, across from you and to the left, Tarek is engaged with the center toad which is beginning to look worn down from the attacks it has received, while to the right, Ulben is engaged with another as he attempts to regain his footing. Directly across from you is a very large giant toad (one of the largest) half of its wart covered body caked in thick, glittering frost. It blinks slivers of ice out of its right eye as it sizes you up as a possible meal.

"Oh, shoot..." Aluzira stares at the toad in front of her for a moment before striking with one of her daggers, humming a battle tune to give Fluin Bardic Inspiration
(I edited my last post. It sounds like they aren't within five feet of each other, so I'll go with thorn whip option)

The five are within 5 feet of each other, so there would be one on each side of your target. (We seem to be cross-posting.)
I apologise. Then he would have tried the ice knife. (as much as it pains me to waste a spell slot with that terrible roll haha )
He also would edge toward Anakis, hoping to defend her from the one that is angling towards her.

Ah, just reread rage and see it does specify melee for rage-damage bonus. Sorry about that. It is my first attempt at playing a barbarian here.
