Akome glances over to his party before they disperse, saying in a low tone, "I hope in the midst of these situations we can get out in one piece—" his voice trails off as his mind focuses elsewhere. He sheathes the greatsword on a back-scabbard strongly attached to his knapsack via leather straps and a few buckles. He returns to the inn, oof he spends 2 hours within their allocated room in deep prayer and thought to his deity—using the remaining block of incense for such. His thoughts flow freely, eventually to the point where he almost forgets the time, had he not made a mental note to keep a good watch at the sun's movement.
For the final hour, he spends it maintaining his worn Chain Mail, easily fixing any holes or outer-breaks on the mesh. His expression shifts to be in full focus, not paying much attention until completing a short repair on the armor. He wears it over a cotton brown-dyed tunic; the armor fits perfectly, leaving little disturbance as his body moves around.
The Wolf-Tengu is prepared.
[I'll be alright with where the campaign goes. There shouldn't be a problem with a little change of pace, after all.]
Akome would be awaiting the rest of his companions to complete their share of the given time. He waits with a few minutes left in thought, unsure of how to approach the situation ahead, but hopes that his allies will give a good understanding to his inexperience.
You all hear the footsteps and the idle chatter of what seem to be army personel from the outside, obviously stating that the departure would happen soon and you would have to get going soon, too.
Akome had recently made some adjustments on his chain mail, discovering that he could have adjusted the straps to be far more comfortable and less constriction of movement while on the move. He exits the common room, closing the door behind him before turning his attention the army personnel. He breathes a sigh of relief, and walks to the army men while he begins to talk, "Good day to you. Excuse my intrusion, but I do think my other companions and I will be traveling among your men. I do hope we get along!" his tone is different, showing a light-hearted yet formal word stress and speech, almost as if a feeling of burden had come to pass on him. He glances back to the door, "I'm not sure when they will come out, but I am sure they will make a timely appearance." he adds, taking his time to shift around in his movement, clearly happy with his adjustments to his armor. With the greatsword on a back-scabbard, and his arms resting via his hips, he waits casually for his companions while trying to engage in light conversation with the army personnel.
Basho collects his spear and pack, heading out to watch the end of proceedings. He nods to Akome and steps over to join him. 'Do you know if they have horses for us, or will we be travelling on a cart..?' He looks a little worried.

"Oh, You must be... Someone that is called Akome, I presume?"
A kitsune who appeared to be the commander of one of the corps that you've managed to attract the attention of, spoke after turning towards the direction of your voice.
Akome nods to the Kitsune Commander; showing respect via a nuanced salute before replying with, "Akome, the Half-Tengu-Hengeyokai, at your service," he moves his attention to Basho, which he immediately greets in a light-hearted smile, portruding a more charismatic and less of a stiff facial expression. His eyes swivel to the Kitsune Commander after Basho is finished speaking, continuing his talk, "From what my companion Basho, has said, will we be in indeed traveling by horse, or on a cart? I have no problem with either, but I have generally not trained myself to ride a horse," he says as he glances back to the building of the common room, "On the contrary of that notion, I believe only one of our companions are left to wait for." he stares at the building's entrance/exit expectantly, eventually having his attention move back to the Kitsune Commander out of his obligation and respect for their position.
"Wait no longer!" Salgim exclaimed as he came banging out of the front door of the Inn, his traveling pack and weapons strapped to his back. Squeezing himself in-between Basho and Akome, he clapped a hand on to each of their shoulders. He was significantly shorter than either man, but his smile was far wider.
"Horse or cart. It matters not to Salgim Commander. Salgim the Sparrow is ready to follow through the sky!" Letting his hands fall from his companions shoulders, he pulled his dark green cloak hood over his head and hopped from foot to foot. Excited and eager to start the next leg of their journey.
"Is there anything we needs know before hand?" He asked, settling still, bringing a hand to his chin in thought.

"Hold on, where is that woman that was supposed to be with you? She does not look like she is with you...?"
"Of this, Salgim has little knowledge." He replied to the commanders query, shoulders shrugging deep, palms up. "The Madam speaks few words, and tells us even less." He added with a smirk.
"Of course Salgim mostly jests. The Madam only tells us what she deems necessary for we three to know. We were told we would be departing with you..." His hand comes back to his chin in an exaggerated expression of thought. "Come to think of it Salgim does remember the Madam using 'We," His head whips around in search of the nameless female Katsune that hired them.
"She should be present..Did neither of you lay eyes on her after our meeting?" He asks, looking to each of his companions.
Basho shakes his head. ‘I did not. I took a short nap, then waited in the common room. I’ll go and see what’s keeping her.’ He heads back into the inn, and beckons over one of the staff. ‘Have you seen our companion come down from her room?’

"Salgim did not."
"Oh, is that so? Well, she is known to sometimes not say "we" on circumstances like that since there is always a chance that she could not get back in time. She is quite the busy woman- taking of some paperwork at some other place than the inn before departing."
[He checks his pocket watch that he always kept on him before continuing:]
"Considering that there is now only less than an hour left before we depart, coming with us would be a good idea. Considering that fact that you might not be able to get to the rally point in time."
[You notice that the man seems to know a bit of the woman's personality and habits.]

"Do you mean Viscounte Haru? Ah, yes. She told me that I inform any of her companions that inquire about her whereabouts.
She went to the guildhall just a bit ago, she said she had some paperwork to take there."
___
Only thirty minutes before departure...
(It'll take five minutes (in-game) to walk to the guildhall and 10 minutes (in-game) to get to the rally point of the military caravan.)
Basho nods his thanks, and immediately heads out of the door, walking briskly towards the guildhall. ‘Just going to find her at the guildhall...’ he calls out to Akome and Salgrim.
He’s also thinking, ‘So now we know her name at least!’
Akome takes in the Unnamed Kitsune's name for a good moment, unsuspecting of Basho leaving for the guildhall before seeing him leave in the distance. He visibly sighs without sound, turning to the commander, "Viscounte Haru? We have yet to hear of her name from her own voice, but I guess it's fitting that someone else says it. Anyway, I will make my way to the rally point with the rest of you. Just tell me when we will depart," his tone moves from curiosity to a neutral voice, findia and way to fit his charismatic tone to somehow represent itself in the neutrality. The Wolf-Tengu stretches his arms for sometime, with the inclusion of firmly fixing his white hair by hand; the streaks of auburn at the tips of the hair strands showing to be quite eye-catching; his wolf-ears some to either flap open or close while he does so.
"Basho! Salgim will tag along." He calls out to the sorcerer. "If Salgim has a choice between waiting or searching," he says to the commander and Akome, "Salgim always prefers action to standing still."
[@JorvikDave, @Yuknow You both make it to the guildhall in no time flat. You immediately spot the viscountess coming out of the guildhall, already looking like she is already prepared for departure.]
(OOC: However you want)
Basho, after a short nap, returns to the common room to await their leaving, his pack and spear leaning against the wall next to him.

Two hours into the waiting of the waiting time has now passed... And an hour now remains before departure. (in-game)

Salgim says nothing. He simply smiles and stands aside in a gesture indicating that the lead was hers to take.
