Nobody is able to make out too much as their eyes are stinging from the acrid air and the whispers seem to drown out any other sort of noise.
Rounding the corner they come into a large roughly square cavern that has been somewhat worked but has an unfinished look to it.
In the centre of the cavern is a large square box of carved stone, the carved lid that sat upon it lies in shattered pieces to one side, above the open sarcophagi there is a strange rent in the air itself and a veritable waterfall of glowing green-orange liquid pours from it and cascades into the sarcophagi itself.
Looking beyond the raised centre of the room you can see, some 50m away, a demon similar to the two you fought in the passageway, it is grovelling and praying to the thing floating in the air above its head; a foul leathery sack of acrid liquid floats there half hidden in a thick cloud of aqua-green vapour, hundreds of insectile limbs flicker in and out of existence and thousands of hidden mouths whisper unholy things on the edge of hearing.
Lindale instinctively made a step back and shook her head: the legends were true, the scene was mind-bending and felt even more un-natural than looked, provoking desire to either run away as fast as possible or to destroy that horror for pure incompatibility with the world around. That ... everything should not have existed here!
Rufus takes in the scene before turning to his companions. He says, "There be no way back nor out. Perhaps if we best yon Demons we can find another exit?"

Brocc initiative: 3
As the countdown hits 0 Brocc sends his mount into a charge at the closest enemy... (rolls once initiative has been figured out. If we get a surprise round then let me know.)
Surprising the fiends Lindale cast a glowing stone at the praying form clocking it in the side of the head, then a huge sheet of webbing dropped over both forms courtesy of Banzo. Rufus' frost coated the demon as Hatch and Brocc hacked into the creature as did Broccs creation and it burbled and lay still on the ground then began dissolving.
Round 1:
Lindale cast another stone, this time at the eldritch thing hanging in the air but the stone went wide.
Oc-Nuthla rose straight up to the ceiling some 30ft above, the acid mist around it dissolving the webbing in an instant. It convulsed for a moment and a cloud of acid materialised around Lindale.
( Action: DC 11 Dexterity saving throw, taking 22 acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.)
Banzo quickly changed targets and sent a burst of cold towards the horror but only succeeded in spraying ice onto the cavern ceiling. Banzo felt something press against his mind and the whispers returned a thousand-fold within his head...
( Legendary Action: DC 12 Wisdom Saving Throw or take 10 psychic damage and must immediately use your reaction, if available, to move as far as your speed allows away from it.)
Rufus sent cold against it but it seemed to not even notice.
Hatch cursed as the thing rose upwards, moving quickly across from his downed target he leapt up onto the rear of Broccs retreating device, using the momentum to stretch out and land a glancing blow on the horror as it rose.
Brocc strained his muscles and threw his lance as best he could like an awkward spear, it wobbled terribly but struck true before falling back towards earth, Broccs shoulder ached with the effort.
A sussurating sound from above told the two men that they had certain gotten its attention.....
( Ok...its now too far away to hit but as you both rolled over 20, and its hard to change actions in PbP I'm doing a little fudging.)

Round 2
Rufus once more reaches out to gather the very primal forces of nature to obey his command. He harnesses the storm's wrath to create an orb of energy that he then hurls at the flying demon, he then twists the laws of magic to split the spell in two.
Rufus spends a Sorcery Point to twin cast Chromatic Orb creating two balls of energy that do Thunder Damage.

Brocc has his mount move over to the fallen lance and pick it up, replacing it in it's holder. Meanwhile Brocc himself tugs a handaxe from it's holder on the mount's side and throws it at the thing above...
With the blasted thing now out of range of his magic battle-axe Hatch follows Brocc's example, switching from gripping the Axe of Kerellim with both hands to only one, freeing up a hand to grab and throw a handaxe at the horrid thing.
Oc-Nuthla vibrates alarmingly and the acid spilling from the planar rift splashes out from the torrent threatening Rufus and Banzo...
( Lair Action vs Rufus/Banzo: Dex Saving Throw- DC 10 or 6 Acid Damage)
Lindale healed herself as the cloud around her dissipated.
Oc-Nuthlas hundreds of limbs began waving violently as it suddenly convulsed and one of the mouths on its underside belched a stream of sticky acidic bile at Hatch.
( Acid Stream- Dex Save DC 12. Or take 7 Acid Damage per round for 10 rounds or until removed.)
Banzo summoned ice to freeze the thing but only suceeded in adding another layer of frost to the ceiling.
Rufus whipped out his enormous balls...of Thunder...Oc-Nuthla moved rapidly in the air to avoid one but took the other full on, dozens of limbs shattered and it deflated slightly, but Rufus got the feeling he had made an enemy for life.
Brocc and Hatch threw Handaxes at the hovering horror, one of them struck though it was hard in the turmoil to tell whose it was.

Dex Save 22
Rufus throws himself into a forward roll to avoid the acid spray directed towards himself and Banzo. The diminutive sorcerer using his agility to roll between Banzo's legs to arrive at the forefront of the group. He ends his roll in a crouch as he hurls a larger ball of thunderous energy at the acid spewing monstrosity.
