Fen approaches Erdan again and asks "It seems likely that we’ll need extra rooms now. As well as the room for the Dragonborn I asked about, and the room for me at "one-day-in-the-future-friends rate or a works-for-tips-almost-an-employee rate", I think some of my other new friends also want a room. Do we have rooms available and if so, how much are they?"
Erdan looks up from what he was doing, (he never stops working is your main observation on him) and he nods and explains, "For the dragonborn, a room for one is 6 silver people. For you, it is 5 silver. Everyone else that would like a room must pay 6 silver pieces, which includes a morning breakfast. We do have rooms available, nearly always do, and if you can collect the names of everyone and give them to Bonnie over there, she can give them rooms."
He then points to a well dressed female human, about the height of Erdan, with long brown hair in 2 side-braids, wearing a blue and gray embroidered dress that goes down to her heels, poofy sleeves, a v-neck on the front, and she is wearing brown heeled shoes. She is currently talking with a female elf that she then hands a key to, who then makes her way up the hallway behind her.

Zook, who apparently has spent the past few minutes daydreaming in a period of self-mediation, looks back up and tries to figure out what's going on. He turns to Rinzak and says, "I'm terribly sorry, but I seem to have gotten lost in my own thoughts for awhile. Either that or I temporarily dozed off. Can you please tell me what has just transpired and what we are planning to do as a group? I would very much appreciate it."
Then, seeing that Fen is talking to Erdan to procure a room for the night, he gets up, walks over to the innkeeper and also inquire about a room.
"I have six silver coins for a room, how much would I need to add if I were to share with my tall friend, over there," he says, pointing to his firbolg companion.
Ventheris will also approach the bar, "I will take a room as well, please. Also, would you like to be with us when we confront the ghost, or have a representative with us? It is your bar after all. For that matter, have you, yourself, ever encountered the ghost? Or perhaps one of your employees?" He'll hand over the 6 silver and wait for his key and a response, turning halfway towards Bonnie to include her in the last question.
Erdan now grows a smile on his face, "Have I seen a ghost?" Then he starts chuckling, and then he gets another strange look on his face. (Only you may roll insight if you want to tell what it is.)
"Young fellow, I have been more dead than the average ghost. I have lain ghosts to rest, killed 20 wraiths in a single battle, and seen the very undead of which you are investigating. You are free to observe this 'ghost' if you wish, and I would be happy to introduce you to him if you wish. My employees tend to be shy of deadish creatures, but I have no qualms with a measly poltergeist."

Ventheris (Insight: 10)
"I rather suspected such, given what little we've heard of your background. I suspect our dragonborn friend may have a few questions for you, if you don't mind, about being dead, but for myself, I would appreciate an introduction. May we meet you here at say an hour before midnight?"
Due to his changed position Rinzak had to glance far down at the Gnome given their vast height difference, saying directly "If you are so willing to accompany us it seems that we shall be either meeting and/or taking care of an ethereal undead." The Githzerai raises his hand, and whispers a word in Gith, a gold coin seems to float on it's own from his pouch and set on the counter. With a nod to Erdan the wizard strides over to the female elf, waiting for her to be free before he says "I have already paid Erdan. A room key, and number.....please." Remembering that in Common there was a word instead of a conjugation for politeness.
(For anyone in character familiar enough with the spell (DM pending how familiar they need be) and also for Meta knowledge Rinzak cast Mage Hand, just when cast with the Githzerai racial feature it is invisible.)
"Oh right... the ghost!," Zook says to Rinzak. "I must have really dozed off there. We did have a long walk through the night to get here, so I suppose it's a good idea that we'll be taking a day-nap before we conduct our business with this ethereal undead creature, which I am a little nervous about, if I'm to be honest. As I said, the mere thought of dead who are no longer dead give me the willies."
Zook hands over the a gold coin to Erdan for the room key.
Ventheris would like to get a room to sleep during the day so as to be awake all night, but other than that, good to go.
Fen asks Erdan about room availability and prices again (in a less wordy way than last time).
Hecate will get a few hours rest and then head out into the city.

[DM question: Does Fen know anywhere he could buy: 1) 10 gp worth of charcoal, incense, and herbs and 2) arrows?]
