Daemyar 779 Daemyar waves Garnet off, before more gently saying. “Thank you, but... this has worn on me more than I care to admit. I think it’s time to make camp see about continuing with fresh eyes and arms.”
Ithelion looks wistfully at the other doors, clearly drawn to explore further, but sighs and nods, "A wise friend once told me that haste will make fools of us all, if we let it. A rest would be welcome. There is much to think about."
Searching the room and skeletons, you find 40sp, 23gp, and 4 “special” arrows. The arrows are different than the others - their tips are mean-looking things, stylized into a diving dragon shape. The other arrows in the 3 quivers are usable and you can gather back half of the ones that were shot during combat. The murder holes for the archers are filled with dirt of course, it now being sunken underground. Ithelion you go back out into the tower shell room and you don’t see anything immediately in the other rooms...the secret room with the bones seems safe enough and there are no undead in there, just bones from the now dead undead.
So, you all want to take a long rest then? If so, you can set a watch if you like (tell me who and what order) and if you’re making a fire. There is enough ventilation in the rooms if you wanted to have a fire, and also tell me if you’re keeping the doors in the tower shell open or closed.

(( How does this look for watches -- it's only late afternoon, I think. 8 hours long rest can have 2h of non-sleep, IIRC, so...:
16:00 Daemyar & Garnet - Long 4H watch in late afternoon/early evening (Ithelion & Krom rest) [ At the end of this watch, Ithelion is completely rested, Krom is +4h ] 20:00 Ithelion & Krom (so Krom+6h, D&G +2h) 22:00 Ithelion & Garnet [D&G+4h, K+8h] [ At the end of this watch, Krom is fully rested ] 24:00 Krom & Daemyar[D&G+6h]; Ithelion working on notes and maps. 02:00 Krom & Ithelion [D&G+8h] 04:00 DONE
All fully rested after 12 hours of double-watches...the actual start/finish can vary.
It also allows Ithelion 2 hours to work on maps etc.
Re fire: It's a small room, with a door, a roof, and good insulation ... and it's summer ... so probably not neeeded. ))
Cool. Looks like you’ve got a plan there so if everyone else is good then you can take a long rest. The room is also underground so not sure how warm it is, and you know what they say about a fire’s psychological ability to reassure... :)
Your watches pass without much incident, save the occasional echo of falling rocks. However, during Ithelion and Garnets watch....roll perception please. Or one with advantage.
@ithelion & @garnet - About halfway through your watch - it's been really boring - you have only heard the sound of a few shifting or falling rocks and the odd sound emanating from the pit. You take turns walking out of the room or and looking around, or peeking around the corner of the door. Elosa, fey creature that she is, has no real need for sleep and while you don't hear anything...her head snaps and swivels around. She gives a small hoot but otherwise doesn't seem alarmed.
@krom - before your rest, you are able to find out that these arrows are magical +1 arrows. Here they are if you want to take a look. You found 4 of them: [Tooltip Not Found]. Okay, I am not sure why it's not showing it (i guess it's because i created the item...). but they are called Ashardalon's Rage Arrow +1. You can add them to your inventory - but you can decide who gets them or if you want to split them etc...
@ithelion - Elosa noticed a figure - a bit taller than you - coming towards the door cautiously. Strangely, you don't get a sense of panic from her but rather, calmness.
You (through Elosa) don't see or sense anyone - perhaps it was just a trick of the eyes - or being in this place of shadow and death. Elosa can also hear extremely well and she doesn't seem bothered.
Elosa flies off, to the consternation of Ithelion and some sounds of surprise are heard. Garnet, with hand on your sword you rise and look down at Ithelion. A grin grows on his face as you both stare at the doorway. To your surprise, Lorell steps through with Elosa perched on his shoulder.....
Ithelion raises her eyebrows, and puts her finger to her lips and speaks in hushed tones, "They are resting" she says, indicating the sleeping forms.
Standing by the door, a little suspicious despite the familiar face, she focusses on Lorell, "This is a surprise! Is there a problem back at the villiage?" she asks.
She queries Elosa: Do you really trust him? Or are you positioning yourself for his eyes?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Lorell!"
Garnet releases her hold on her sword and steps forward in unconscious haste. Her curiosity is mirrored by Ithelion's questioning with concern quickly setting in.
"Are you all right? How did you get here?" She steps around Lorell to observe the direction he came from and the state he is in.

Ithelion smiles at Krom, "Yes... Thank you. But be careful with them. This place contains many mysteries, and i fear most are dangerous."
