Krom hefts his newly made battleaxe, "Bah, all this sneakin' around is getting tiresome. I say we just pick one of them doors, bop some heads and move on to the next."

Shere whispers
"To keep from fighting everything at once, choose our battles, brravado will get us killed. Information advantage, stupidity death! No storries of our grreat accomplishments told to your grandchildren, or wrritten by us cause the victorr wrrites what the dead cannot in historry."
He says to Ithelion in the same hushed tone
"Arre the rats a thrreat too us? What are creatures arrmed with? How could we prrevent one grroup frrom acting while we destrroy the otherr?"
Daemyar will continue on to the next two doors, North then South.
Any way to block these doors?
Alright! Daemyar, in the NW room, you find the sleeping figures. There are three of them curled up on straw pallets. Daemyar, it looks like the doors could be jammed, if one were very quiet and had the right items. In the SW room, you see two of the familiar figures walking in a giant barrel. It looks like they use a crude mashing, straining, and casking facility to create fungus wine. Two of the humanoidscurrently stand barefoot in the mashing-tun, squashing roots and fungi into pulp. A dirty straining bin stands nearby, as well as some casks of the end product.
@Ithelion - you could try for a history roll!
@Shere - there isn't much to be gathered by looking at their eyes - and in any case, are you in the main hallway looking in doors also?
@All: You have seen this before, Ithelion is crouching down, leaning against the wall with her eyes closed. If you want to speak with her, you need to tap her hand. Except Daemyar: he can talk to Elosa...(maybe she really does need message if Daemyar/Elosa is the scout! Not sure how she would cope with dirty clothes though.)
“We have some sleeping at the end and some others making wine in a big barrel. That makes more than seven in all. If we can, we should block up some doors to keep the numbers at bay.”
Daemyar holds up block and tackle with a rope for doors opening into the rooms, then pitons for doors opening into the hall.
Ithelion nods, "I like the idea. Even if we only manage to block two of the doors, we have done well. Does anyone else have a hammer and pitons, or wedges?"
(( More to come when history roll results known ))
Garnet shakes her head. She whispers “I have a shovel that perhaps could be shoved under the door, but a piton would be better.” She readies her long sword. “I like the idea of closing off half of them before we jump in.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"May I state the obvious." Shere states in the current hushed tone "These people, are probably the ones the hobgoblin bought the rrats frrom. As I recall, the firrst one said something about the rrats being money well spent."
"Unforrtunately I carry no climbing equipment when I climb, I do it naturrally like a cat."
(for some reason bards don't get much on starting equipment)
Ithelion racks her brain but is able to place the creatures: they are darklings, a type of cursed, fey creature. The history isn't clear but from what you can remember, a long-forgotten seelie fey creature betrayed the Summer Queen (leader of the inner circle of the Seelie Court). Anyways, for his betrayal, the Summer Queen cursed him and his family, and all the children since bear the curse. They became known as darklings, doomed to absorb light and age rapidly.
“Pick one, and hammer it in. Krom can help you with the hammering part. On three.”
Daemyar hands over a couple pitons before he moves to the doors holding the talking darklings. He readies his piton and hammer, holding up three fingers to start the countdown.
Ithelion racks her brain but is able to place the creatures: they are darklings.
(( Does she know anything else about their abilities? Or are they actually a more or less mythical race? ))
Elosa jumps back onto Ithelion's shoulder, and she smiles thanks to Daemyar. "You make a good team" she says, idly stroking the owl's neck feahters.
With her senses now back in her own body, she quietly relates what she knows, then looks to the east. "Perhaps, when the first two doors are done, we should block this one", she says, pointing at the east door. "One problem at a time."
They both watch the efforts to block the doors, keeping an eye out for emerging threats...
@Ithelion - No, they are very real. You know they aren't super strong or anything like that. They are sensitive to light and are found in the dark places in the world. At death, they release the light absorbed from their life in a bright flash.
So, is the plan to close the door of the SC chamber and hammer in a piton to try to lock it?
Also, is there anyone besides Daemyar and Elosa in the main hall? If so, please roll a stealth check (+10 for pass without a trace)...

Krom takes what pitons remain and picks a door. He waits for the countdown to hammer the piton in with the side of the battle-axe.

Shere doesn't have a hammer so he uses the hilt of his dagger then puts it away
