They shove the doors closed and quickly hammer their pitons into place. 2. The doors of the SW, NW, and SC chambers are shut and stuck. You'd guess they will last for a little while at least, before whatever is inside is able to break them down...
Ithelion and Garnet. you hear the doors slam and the hammering begin. It's over in a few seconds. When the doors slam, you hear several yells and shouts of surprise, followed by more yelling and pounding on the doors. They doors are good and stuck for now but won't last forever...
Two figures brandishing daggers come rushing out of the NC chamber, yelling for their companions. The pounding on the doors continues and is replaced by some sort of weapons or objects being smashed against it....
@Garnet and @Daemyar - both of you use movement to close within melee range of the dark creatures. Garnet's longsword slices deeply into D2 who spins towards her in anger. Its eyes go wide and it spits blood as Daemyar's dagger lodges itself in its heart. A soft keen is heard as Daemyar attacks and D1. Curiously, it also seems to be injured somehow! - D2 is dead! As life leaves its eyes, the darkling begins to shake, it's eyes start to burn brightly, light shining forth. Light begins to erupt through its wounds, its mouth, its eyes...as it falls lifeless to the ground, an explosion of light illuminates in a 10-foot area....

Seeing the bright flash that she had warned about, she wonders what effect it will have on her companions. Whatever it may be, there was still one left alive, so she moves do the doorway and says to her companions nearby, "Subdue them. Non-lethal blows!"
Not following her own advice because the remaining darkling is as yet uninjured, she asks Elosa to distract it then return while she launches an arrow in its direction.

@ithelion - even with a bit of cover, your arrow hits D1 square, pushing it back a bit into the wall as it hits.

Battle axe and hammer are fine to hammer in the pitons but a dagger might not cut it, Shere. Roll a strength check to see how well it gets stuck.
