Glimbul approaches Orvex, “If you are low on sling bullets, would you be ok with darts? I can produce and infinite amount.” He pulls out 5 regular darts from his quiver and hands them gently to Orvex. “How many would you like?”
After the rest Lemon turns into an eagle, flies back out to join the party, and reverts back into the form of a dwarf. He walks over to the abomination and huffs.
The party makes their way over to the last remaining hallway exiting the central point of this floor. The hallway is tight like the rest od them standing only eight feet tall and five feet wide. After a short way, it turns left. The room opens up into a wider area.
A rusting statue of a knight stands at the west end of this hall, gripping a large iron shield. Shards and flakes of rusted metal cover the floor around the statue’s feet. A skeleton bearing two long, jagged daggers and a triangular-shaped stone headpiece jumps at the sight of the party and flees the chamber to their right.
"Let it go. If we go chasing things in here we will just get ourselves in trouble."" Boosey shrugs. "There is much evil in here, and I would guess it knows about us. We shouldn't run after things blindly, who knows what could happen, there have already been too many traps that have caught us out."
"Chasing specters did us little good last time," Nenne concurs. "Though did you notice the symbol it wore? A triangle. Reminds me of Ras Nsi. Just something to ponder. For now, let's concern ourselves with this statue. Badger, care to employ your expertise and see if there are traps or other dangers?"
Glimbul nods to Nenne, “Could Boosey join me though? He can check the left side and I will take the right side. I am not sure what kind of trap we may face.” He makes his way to the entrance of the room and begins inspecting for traps.
As the two gnomes enter the room, they both take wary steps backwards and cry out in alarm. Their bodies bend backward as if defying gravity or resisting some kind of tug. Glimbul flips around scrambling while his bolts, arrows, and darts empty out of his quiver in his turning struggle. The loose ammunition is hurtled through the air drawn towards the statue. Weapons in either gnome's sheath fly loose and stick to the statue right before both of them get drawn off the floor, flying towards the motionless statue. The gnomes stick to the statue, held fast by their metal gear. Boosey has to work hard to get his mass of crossbow bolts out from in front of him, but when he does, they cling tightly to the statue. Everything metal that manages to come in contact with the statue quickly dissolves into rust. The two gomes are left hanging by their packs looking back at the party. Boosey looks around nervously for his newly acquired flute only to spot it resting on the floor nearby, seemingly unaffected by the magnetic pull.
Pinned by his pack against the statue, Boosey manages to release the strap and drops to the floor. His crossbow and bolts, shortsword and studs in his armour have disintegrated, and he holds on to Eku's Flute like his life depends on it. He turns and curses at the statue, shaking his fist at it impotently. "Now I have to find new weapons and armour, you...you...you overgrown rust bucket."
"Well, I see our bony friend," Boosey calls after a moment. "That passage is a dead end, leading to a water fountain, and the skeleton is there watching us. I wonder if it has anything to do with the plaque we found? Someone should look in the other passage, see what is in there" With that, Boosey vanishes in an instant.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nenne attempts to dispel the magical effect of the statue with no success, only to see the bard vanish into thin air.
"For heaven's sake," she sighs. "I grow weary of these disappearances! Badger, do you see any mechanism that could stop this nonsense?" She peers around the room for any clues to undo or pause the magic. (Perception 21)
After a few minutes Boosey reappears next to Nenne, holding a full skin of water. "Here. Everyone take a drink of this," and he hands the skin around. "There is a fountain in there with some interesting properties," and he motions to the right hand passage. "The skeleton is in there seemingly standing guard, why I don't know and the other passage appears to be a dead end. There's not much else to tell, really"
"It's quite rejuvenating, really. I went in there," and he points at the right hand passage once again. He gives the cleric a wide grin. "The water is fantastic, try it!" The grin fades, "Though it may only work when it's drunk straight from the fountain. Still, our skeletal friend is stuck in there with no way out, although," he looks back at the iron statue, "if we are to fight it, we have to solve that problem first!" Giving Nenne a serious look, "I promise I will explain all in good time. But for now, trust me when I say there is nothing sinister to worry about." He meets her eye with an intense look, and nods deferentially to her.
Lemon looks blankly at his friends then to the statue.
"Ye know." He gives a scratch at his beard. "I be thinkin' it may have some magic that attracts metals." He gives a grin and points his fingers in the air, "An' I be lackin' in metals hehehe."
With those words Lemon advances as well to investigate the statue that "be attracted to metal" as he called it.
The cleric eyes the proffered water skin dubiously.
"Nothing in this place has been straightforward and wholly benevolent," she says. "Whatever effects this water has, I am doubtful it is as unconditionally helpful as you claim. While I am grateful that you seem unharmed, I do caution the rest of us against drinking it. For all we know, it sours when taken from its source."
Allister looks at his weapons and equipment, scratching his burned beard. „So, how do we get to that skeleton? It ran away from us and is protected by that thing.“ He points at the statue. „Everything here usually attacks, but it fled. I would like to find out why.“
As Lemon steps forward he realizes that he carries a lot more metal than he figured. The dwarf struggles against the pull of the statue, taking special care to keep hold of his harp.
The gnome looks thoughtful for a moment. “Does anyone have anything iron that they wouldn’t mind losing?” He holds the water skin up, “it’s worth a try!”
Taking a sling shot from Orvex, Boozey pours some of the water from the fountain over it, then walks towards the statue waiting for the item to be pulled from his hands.

The moment Boosey crosses the threshhold into the room, the sling bullet launches towards the statue to be consumed.
