Allister picks up the bracers and they glow as watery light ripples across the walls. A monstrous, tentacled shadow rises from the sarcophagus, and the air deepens with the stench of a swamp. A rumbling voice echoes through the tomb: “You are brave to summon me. Together, we will crush the undying one!”
After a few minutes of checking out the double door he returns to the party by the tomb. “I couldnt find any traps on the double doors if that is the next place we want to go. But what have you all learned from the new god and about his item?”
„It’s not surprising but Kubazan proposes to ditch Papazotl. He’s very happy we have Moa with us, he thinks he’s a trustworthy ally. But like the others he knows nothing beyond his own tomb.“
"As I said before, there is no benefit in tarrying," the cleric shrugs. With that, she steps into the hall, takes a fortifying breath, and tugs on the doors.
The heavy doors swing inward to reveal an unexpected scene totally out of place in this terrible tomb. Ten feet from the doors, a thick tapestry curtain hangs from wall to wall. Its embroidery shows a scene of merriment: nobles feasting around a banquet table, a roast boar on a platter, and servants pouring wine.
Vombec steps closer to the curtains, however watching it and being careful enough not to touch them "You believe what is behind here is... something we are looking for? A way to continue on?" He looks to everyone and says, "Shall we see once more if this holds any magic or... continue onwards and risk it?"
"Whatever stands behind this... curtain can be anything. Let us only hope it is not dangerous." With those words, Vombec steps forth, takes a grip of the curtains, and moves forward to get to the other side.
Stepping through the curtain, Vombec relays what he sees.
"It's another curtain that hangs behind the first, showing the same scene but descended into depravity. The nobles fight with each other, partake in carnal encounters on the table, or sprawl on the floor in puddles of vomit."
Yelling once more for what seemed like many layers of fabric, Vombec called out, "The next curtain is... horrifying everyone... it depicts nobles feasting on servants, eating one another alive; setting fire to the hall... and... the boar is alive and laughing through it all while on its platter..."
"So much for determining if there is magic," Nenne mutters in irritation, casting Light on her shield and using it to illuminate the room, gauging its size and whether anything else is inside in addition to the tapestry.
"See you anything else?" she calls to the wizard. "Statues, furniture, anything? Sarcophagus, perhaps?"
Nenne begins looking the curtain over, but when she doesn't hear anything from Vombec at all she calls his name again. The sound of a muted and wet, fleshy gnashing sound out from behind the curtain, almost imperceptible due to the nature of the heavy curtains. The sound is followed by the painful, yet stifled wail of Vombec.
From further down the corridor Boosey just makes out the noises coming from the room. Sensing something terrible might be happening, he rushes into the room, and ducks through the first tapestry without a second thought.
Allister stealths into the room and carefully pushes past the first curtain. Suddenly, after only a couple seconds, the fighter throws the curtain open as he flees the chamber with a look of fear on his face.

Allister looks at Nenne. „We have a common goal. I guess we will get along just fine.“
"So long as he remains congenial, this is a suitable arrangement for me."

"I do not know about the god, however, these bracers are perfect for you Glimbul. They'll enhance your ability with bows alike."
Made you look.

„If the doors are not trapped, is everyone fine with opening them?“

Seeing the cleric move ahead Glimbul peers around the corner just as they begin opening the door

Glimbul draws his bow and nocks an arrow, “What it happening over there? I think it is best we retreat from the curtains and regroup!”
A horrific scream that dies in a gurgle comes from Vombec. Something thuds against the floor and a wet gnashing can be heard from beyond the curtains.
