„Nobody plans to die here, Orvex. Having come this far and not succeeding would feel very unsatisfying. Does anyone need more time or can we look inside that stone coffin?“
Nenne claps Orvex on the shoulder gently and smiles. "Our record for keeping you alive is untarnished since we met," she reassures him kindly. "Be vigilant and have faith in your comrades."
She backs up into the hallway to keep an eye out for anything that might approach, grasping her holy symbol. It radiates a deep wine color for a moment before returning to normal.
Allister spits in his palms, plants his feet on the ground and pushes the lid of the coffin. He keeps an eye on the bears, ready to stop as soon as they move
The stone lid is heavy and carved with bear motifs from top to bottom. Allister has to work at it to start, but once the seal is broken, it slides easier. The lid pushes to the side to reveal the bones of a small creature. The little guy had sharp claws and stood only a couple feet tall. It sports a small snout with tiny, sharp teeth. Resting atop the pile of bones is a small ring shaped as if a bear was hugging your finger, should it be worn.
Glimbul hops up on the edge of the coffin to peer in. “This doesn’t look like a human was buried it here... perhaps it resembles the statues over there? And is this ring the magic Nenne detected?” He points to the bear statues in the room.
The cleric nods in confirmation. "I still do not know what school of magic that ring bears. It's possible it is extremely old, predating modern magic. Though I am not educated in these matters. The storyteller might know more."
Glimbul holds the ring in his hand and Nenne notices something happening with it. Her warning comes far too late though as the dust in the sarcophagus swirls into the shape of a small, feral, bear-like creature. It billows toward Glimbul with a ghostly roar. The gnome backs away, but it pounces onto him, as the ring bounces along the floor. The two careen into the throne behind him and then roll to the ground. The bear seems to be incredibly strong and shoves Glimbul's hand to the ground before forcing its head into the rogue's mouth. Shortly after the rest of the bear follows to disappear completely into Glimbul.
Looking to the party then looking away from them he continues speaking to nothing “Obo’laka? A god? This seems like so much to take in... Hey wait these guys are dependable! I won’t take kindly to you insulting them” he seems to swing his hands about when talking. “Why are you inside me?”
Nenne gives a weary sigh and relaxes her stance slightly. "At least he still has some of his senses...though I question whether he took leave of them entirely in trying on that ring so recklessly."
She looks at the others. "Now he is radiating a magic I cannot identify. Seems rather obvious what it is, now..."
Allister tries to stifle a laughter. With a big smile on his face he says „A zorbo inside a Badger. Boosey, back me up on this, no one will believe me.“ With a more serious tone he speaks directly to Glimbul. „Are you... still you? You know why we are here? And you inside him? Can you tell us about you and this place?“
Glimbul holds out his hands motioning for everyone to stop. “Everyone, please just give me a moment. Too many questions are happening at once. All I know right now is that there is something talking in my head, claiming to be a god. Although it asks a lot of questions for being a god.” He sits down where he is. “One question at a time. Obo’laka, you may ask first.”
“Acererak? We came here to end the death curse. And I asure you these people have saved me twice already and can be trusted.” Glimbul looks to the party “Do any of yall have any questions as well?”
Glimbul looks up momentarily without saying anything before looking to Allister. “He says there are nine of them in this Tomb. Imprisoned by Acererak and they want to destroy him? Wait, how did you know there were more gods? This is the first I am hearing about this”

„Nobody plans to die here, Orvex. Having come this far and not succeeding would feel very unsatisfying. Does anyone need more time or can we look inside that stone coffin?“
Orvex backs away from the sarcophagus and motions for Allister to proceed.
Nenne claps Orvex on the shoulder gently and smiles. "Our record for keeping you alive is untarnished since we met," she reassures him kindly. "Be vigilant and have faith in your comrades."

“Well... lets see what it can do then.” Glimbul reaches in and picks up the ring to inspect it.
Glimbul holds the ring in his hand and Nenne notices something happening with it. Her warning comes far too late though as the dust in the sarcophagus swirls into the shape of a small, feral, bear-like creature. It billows toward Glimbul with a ghostly roar. Groggily getting up while holding his head “What happened? What are you?”
"Whom are you addressing?" Nenne asks, wary, with her hand on her mace.
Looking to the party then looking away from them he continues speaking to nothing “Obo’laka? A god? This seems like so much to take in... Hey wait these guys are dependable! I won’t take kindly to you insulting them” he seems to swing his hands about when talking. “Why are you inside me?”

Nenne crosses her arms across her chest, scale mail groaning as she does so. "God or no, its magic is extremely strong. And old," she mutters.
„Are all the other gods here, too?“ Allister asks the god inside the rogue
Boosey mutters to Allister. “Only if you swear on pain of death that I’m not drunk when I tell it!”
Glimbul looks up momentarily without saying anything before looking to Allister. “He says there are nine of them in this Tomb. Imprisoned by Acererak and they want to destroy him? Wait, how did you know there were more gods? This is the first I am hearing about this”
