Glimbul plants his dagger into the minotaur's calf muscle. The mighty beast bellows out in pain, causing the armored woman to look sharpy that way. The rogue uses the distraction to disengage, moving into the northern tunnel.
Whatever being is invisible punches Nenne twice, but fails to make any real purchase through her armored self.
The Chultan man cowering in the corner coughs and sputters, spitting up just as much blood as yellow foam. He grabs his throat, and falls to the floor. His eyes bleed freely as he looks around in hopeless agony. He dies right then and there. Anyone that can see him knows this fact beyond a shadow of a doubt.
If the gargoyle is affected by the poisonous gas, it isn't evident.
Nenne coughs violently as the poison enters her lungs. She throws a murderous glare at the drow and growls in Elvish, "Idiot! Repaying your saviors with this? I said we were not a threat to you!"
Her amulet glows red, but the ugly haze in the room turns its light a hideous brown. The light shimmers around Boosey before dissipating (Sanctuary). "Stay safe, dear friend."
The movements of the crowd shove her forward and she stumbles to the only free space in the room. Something strikes her hard on the back as she does, making her cry out and cough more. She pulls her shield up and prepares for another round of pain.
The armored woman obviously cares for the minotaur and darts past the thing, chasing Glimbul. Allister uses the distraction to stab her once more before she goes. As she flees from the gas, her coughing fit sprays the wall with blood and foam. She did not fare well from the poison.
The Chultan man coughs and sputters, gagging on his own blood. He moves to run past Allister, who doesn't give him any grief for it. When the minotaur blocks him, he punches the beast in its muscled stomach.
The troll tries to breath in and hold its breath like an idiot - this only causes it pain as the poison is fully let into it. The creature has nowhere to go so it fights for its life as best it can, taking on the most serious threat first. Again it bites off a chunk of the gargoyle, and rakes two claws across the thing. If it weren't for the troll's regenerative properties, it would look a lot worse off than it does. The creature still has a lot of fight left in it, though.
The minotaur moves to get out of the passage, which causes the Chultan man to hit him again given the opportunity. The minotaur doesn't make it very far before he hits the ground. His weight is supported by his muscled arms as he coughs gore onto the floor below him. With a look down the north passage, he falls limp on the floor, taken by the poisonous gas.
Just before being enveloped in the thick green glass, Boosey manages to take in one last gulp of clean air. Despite holding his breath, the poison still taking effect on the gnome. He manages to blurt out the words for warding wind and as soon as he finishes speaking a strong wind forms round him, dispersing the cloud.
Allister runs towards the room, squeezes past the troll and Nenne. Even though he holds his breath he can feel the insidious effect of the poisonous cloud burning his skin and eyes. The wizard is obviously surprised that anyone is dumb enough to run into the cloud and futility tries to parry Allisterˋs slashes and stabs. When Allister tries to hit him with his cutlass his eyes are burning too much, tears hamper his sight and he can only slash the wizardˋs robe. He takes a step back, behind Nenne, to get some fresh air into his lungs.
Hoping to get around the corner to sneakily hit the warrior on his heels, Glimbul runs for for the corner. As he steps away though her greatsword comes bearing down on him. Slicing across the length of his back. Has he cries out in pain his image seems to fade until he is no longer visible. Suddenly an arrow appears and strikes the warrior in the neck. Being visible and no longer seeing any pursuers, he carefully makes his way to the intersection.
The gargoyle dives down into the troll, planting both feet into its chest. With a great leap and the flap of its wings, it pushes off back into the air while holding the trolls arms. The trolls topples to the ground as its arms are literally ripped from its body. The black blood from the troll gushes freely onto the floor.
Nenne feels two more punches: One hits her shield and the other falls harmlessly against her armor.
Feeling the blows fall harmlessly against her and noticing the drow fall, Nenne gives Allister a grateful look and points over her shoulder in what she thinks is the direction of the invisible attacker. "There's something there!" she shouts, trying to enunciate so he can read her lips. "Invisible!" As nimbly as she can, she slips by him and Boosey into the tunnel, touching each of them tenderly on the shoulder as she passes. (Disengage and move to E8)
Allister is suddenly punched in the jaw (10 bludgeoning damage) from something he cannot see. The thing stays invisible, forcing Allister to swing in the thing's general direction. Allister feels the whiff of air in front of his face as he explodes into motion.
Boosey suddenly belts out a sound caught somewhere between surprise and that of a goat. The gnome can feel his feet shift in his boots and his fingers meld into double digits. Stumpy horns push out of his forhead to a length of three inches. Nenne looks back at Boosey alarmed and is shocked indeed to find that his pupils are rectangualr in shape.
Allister manages to connect with something on his first swing, but the second only strikes air. The gargoyle attacks the troll yet again, but the troll is in full defense mode. It manages to fend off the first three attacks, but ultimately falls again to the last two raking claws. The gargoyle lands on top of the troll to keep is down this time.
Nenne tears her eyes away from Boosey's mutated form and looks into the room in time to catch Allister's swipes at the air. She lifts her hand in preparation to cast a spell before noticing her legs start to shake from fatigue. She glances back at Boosey and winces.
"My magic is soon depleted!" she shouts to Allister. "Make use of this!" Her amulet glows red as she extends her hand toward the gargoyle, and a shimmer of divine energy lands on the creature. (Path to the Grave)
Trying to ignore the changes to his body as best he can, Boosey picks up his crossbow and clumsily fires a bolt towards the gargoyle. Snatching at the shot because of his altered hands, the bolts strikes the wall of the passage before skittering to a stop on the ground, completely missing its target.
“We should get out of here now, while the troll and gargoyle are fighting. We may not get another opportunity.”
As Allister sees a now familiar shimmer of energy landing on the gargoyle he slashes at its lower right arm, hoping to chop it off. But even though he scores a direct hit at the elbow, the thick skin and bones prevent major damage. The gargoyle uses his arm to masterfully parry every attack and even slaps the blade so hard that it is nearly torn from Allister’s hand. Allister realizes that from this angle he won’t hit sny vital area so he tries to circle to the gargoyle‘s back where he finds an opening and stabs his cutlass into the area where a kidney would be on normal creatures. Again the gargoyle barely seems to notice the injury
Glimbul doesn't even think twice about getting closer to that mass of raking claws. He uses the still cooling body of the minotaur to hide again. When the opportunity presents itself, he fires an arrow at the gargoyle. The rogue curses the gargoyle's sturdiness; his arrow should have punched right into it there.
Allister is assailed by the invisible creature again. This time the thing hits him hard up against the stone wall - a true slam (7 bludgeoning damage). Allister's flurry of swords prevents any further attacks from the thing, but fail to the creature.
The gargoyle bites into the face of the troll and rakes a claw over the thing's mouth, ripping much of the bottom jaw free before turning on Allister. Three claws come his way, but the warrior is able to dodge the first. These raking claws definitely aren't the worst he has ever suffered, but the warrior knows it would have been much worse if he hadn't been turning with the claws (9 and 9 slashing damage).

The troll gets back up, but only has the strength to bite the gargoyle weakly once. The Chultan man flees down the dark corridor.
Boosey doesn't stop to look at the carnage behind him, but continues down the hall away from the fight as best he can.
Moving into the hallway Glimbul hides amongst the corpse of the minotaur before accidentally firing a shot before taking proper aim.

She steps backward and clenches her jaw.
The Chultan man flees farther down the hallway, disappearing from sight entirely.
Somehow, even while being crushed under the weight of the giant gargoyle, the troll manages to come back to life and bite into the gargoyle's leg.
