As the guards focus on the first group, a small cloaked figure walks out from behind some nearby crates. As she steps out, her cloak itself is wrapped by an invisible energy as small debris swirl around her (spending one ki point for Patient Defense to technically take the Dodge action).
She leaps to the air, does a barrel roll and uses the momentum to send a javelin at the one guard sounding the alarm.
Javelin to-hit: 16 Damage: 9
Whether it cuts a guard or not, it lands on a nearby pier with a loud thud. She then draws an old blade with a pineapple etched on the side (reflavored handaxe, see page 1).
"Armed guards in the middle of a little town? Are you guys connected with the Crushing Wave?"
(If Rubin didn't take out both of the sentries Kethra will target the most damaged one, if both of them get taken out, she'll target one of the ones coming out of the cabin. Either way Kethra will position herself so that the most straightforward path to the rest of the party means taking an opportunity attack from without blocking anyone's line of sight.)
Rubin swiftly dispatches the two sentries before they can even finish drawing their weapons.
Kethra runs forward, tossing a javelin and readying herself for incoming attacks. Her javelin strikes home in the shorter figure, making him grunt in pain.
The blue figure shouts in surprise, and twists is hands in an arcane gesture. A huge wave of water comes crashing down on Rubin and Kethra, threatening to knock them over.
(Tidal wave, Dex save or 10 bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. On a success, half damage and no prone. Kethra has advantage due to her dodge.)

Xanranzan will take his chance to race out of cover, and straight for the boat. If he can get close enough to cross blades with either sentry or other hostile smuggler-y type, then he did so. During the approach he drew forth both his saw tooth blade and normal one, and wave and strike them together in a battle dance to inspire Kethra, and spark a spell to life. "Nighty night, bluey!" He called as he clattered them one last time together and conjured dazzling sparkles about the blue caster to try and knock him out.
Action: Cast Night Night at 2nd level, creating a pool of 27 affectable HP. (Targeting a point behind and slightly above the Tidal wave guy in hopes of mainly affecting him without harming any ally too close.)

One of the most important skills of Kethra's childhood training as a blacksmith is to help sell off her wares by learning to fight many kinds of weapons and armor. But knowing how to fight a wave of water with a shield? That was something that she was absolutely not prepared to do. So, with yet another embarrassing mishap today, Kethra was perfectly content with just lying there being soaked and miserable.

Springing up back to her feet, Kethra couldn't help but smile as she joins in by attacking Quanderil. If Xan's having fun, why can't I?
"I'll..I'll crack that magic shield of yours open like a pineapple!"
Shield punch to the face (Flurry of Blows 1 + Reckless attack): 24 Damage: 6
"First go for the head! Then take out the bottom..."
All attacks are non-lethal. If the last attack makes Quanderil zero HP, Kethra cuts his hand open, tearing his spell focus out and sending it flying at Xanranzan's feet.
Summary: Get up from prone, move towards Quanderil. Flurry of Blows and Handaxe, all Reckless Attack, Bardic Inspiration if miss.

The mage squawks in pain as Rubin nails him, and is too distracted to dodge Kethra’s barrage if attacks. He vanishes in a puff of smoke, reappearing 30 feet away in the river, then fires off a ray of freezing cold at Rubin.
Attack: 18 Damage: 5 frost and 10 foot speed reduction
He then dives 5 feet underwater, and begins swimming away.
(Everyone is up, halfling thug is asleep on the boat with you, Quanderil is 60 feet away and underwater.

Rubin lifts his hand crossbow and sights on the first of the sentries... He sends three shots.

The dread attack has 2 damage rolls, since there is an extra d8 damage added to the dread attack. If all three hit it is a total of 31 damage.
