Marros sits quietly while Kethra attempts to harvest the slain wyvern. He listens to Xan snap his fingers along to some tune only he can hear. It seems to him that they are moving again. He sits up straight and lets the blood rush back down from his head. "So we're going back up?" He says, confused having paid little attention whilst resting. He gathers his things and idles up to Kethra's side. "The Light will bring life back to this damned place. And we shall be the ones to shine it!" The comment, seemingly from nowhere but clearly directed at the warrior woman, hoping to portray his admiration of her skills and tenacity.
Around you is also the pyramid courtyard which appears empty, and the large fancy looking building you walked around to get where you are. Do you still plan on just going back to the surface?
(Sorry, I'm feeling a bit confused. So the building we are trying to check out now the party had actually automatically walked around? And is this the same 'double doors' building you had described earlier? Are there any dark places for Rubin? If we could get a map that would be nice.)

(Didn't really have anything to recharge, but SR taken too.)
While Tude is more interested in checking out the structure of the building, Xanranzan takes it upon himself to have a listen at the door if noone else beat him to it(18). Then, he looks about ready to have a peek inside if the doors can be opened. But if they can't because its locked, he'll glance to the others, gestures to his foot, and then over to the door along with some accompanying nods and a grin.
Rubin moves up to the double doors and grins at the gestures made by his companion. He nods, ready to support anyone who opens the door, his hand crossbow ready.

Upon hearing this, Kethra snapped out of her depressed funk from staring at the sinking dragon. Turning to the Warrior of Light she timidly cleared her throat and raised her fist to the air in agreement, although it didn't really go up that high. Actually, without her cloak Kethra seemed to lose a few inches in height (or it was more obvious just how short she actually was).
“Yeah! We'll go through this fancy building! And when these guys are done looking at the outside, could I get your help with the door?”
Tyde looks at Xan's foot and then at the door, he nods slowly and takes a few steps back to make some room in front of the door for it to be broken down... possibly?
"Thinking it over now, maybe we should have checked the tower outside before exploring down here. But I guess if we had done so we might never have known about the prisoners."
Tyde holds the Orb of Seven Lightnings in his left hand and gestures toward the door with his right.
"Catch 22, I guess. Does anyone else get the feeling that there might be more cultists down here?"
As he muses over the building, Kethra runs to catch up to him, fixing a shield to her arm and her long white hair in a ponytail behind her.
“You’re probably right, Mr. Tyde. Can you send Allistair to keep an eye on the second floor? We can get the door for you, but....every tower and place here seems to have arrow slits punched out somewhere, and the fancy decorations up there could be used to hide something, you know?”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Taking Tyde's earlier nod of approval as 'Go Time!', Xanranzan thoughtlessly stepped back to firm up his stance for optimum kicking, before pretty much lunging forward to try and snap the door open on the handle side. If opened, he is quick to rush inside with blades drawn and yelling as his battle cry, "Knock, Knock ya skeevy sky rats!"

(Congrats on the nat 20!!)
Kethra clapped and cheered as Xanranzan bravely charged in and attack the door with such force!
With the new change of plans, Kethra grabbed a piece of debris, tossing it a few times to test its weight. With a mischievous smile, she threw it at the roof to loudly bounce around the "ornate" roof decorations if Xan breaks down the door to confuse whoever was inside.
"Just wait until the Blacksmith gets here... you guys are in trou-ble!"
Taking cover behind one of the walls where the door once was supported by, Kethra bugs out her pale blue eyes at the wizard for throwing her under the bus. She motions to her not-very-intimidating-looking face, peeks inside again, points inside, then bugs out her eyes on him again.
Catching on to Kethra's ploy, Marros adds to the confusion by attempting to imitate the sound of a number of people running past the door, heading in the direction of Kethra's 'noise'.

As you run in, you surprise 7 figures levitating above the floor and chanting. They drop down, caught completely off guard and scrambling to draw their weapons.
There's one dressed the same way as the outside guard, as well as one with slightly more drab clothing and 5 dressed like normal initiates. They're in the back middle of the hall, so about 60 feet away.
(Everyone roll initiative, you have a surprise round so can post your first turn.)

Xan's Initiative: 4.
While Xanranzan can only stride a mere 30ft compared to Rubin, he takes as long a stride as he could while trying to stay at least 15ft away from others, striking his blades against one another.
"Hope ya'll ready for boom, 'cause here comes the THUNDAH!" He called out, striking his blades so hard together that -- with a bit of subtle magical assistance -- a thunderous crack issues forth near the greatest cluster of cultist, shattering eardrums as surely as bones with the explosion of sound.
Action: Casting Shatter at 2nd level over largest group of cultist. Con Save[DC 13] to take half of 11 Thunder.
Kethra runs to keep pace with Tyde, quietly mouthing a "thank you" after seeing him cast Web. She smiles as her eyes crackle with red energy as she tosses a javelin at the same enemy as Rubin (but if that person is dead then, the next one tangled in web.)
Bonus action rage, action to toss a javelin: 21 Damage: 7
Kethra sidesteps and holds her shield in front to block any incoming attacks, in other words moves 25 feet forward to stand directly in front of Tyde to give him half cover.
(Are any of them unarmored?)
Oops, forgot to actually roll initiative so I'm editing it here ^-^ 11
