"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Assuming there was nothing of note from the fallen guard, Kethra spots the party going to enter the barracks from where she's standing. Taking a deep breath and narrowing her pale blue eyes at the body she was holding, Kethra changes her mind on throwing the guard's corpse over the wall and brings them back with her.
"You're already dead, right? You won't mind." Kethra fixes the guard's hair a little.
Holding the body in front of her as half cover with the wounds side not visible, Kethra opens the barrack's bottom door.
(Sorry originally had top door but I misread Brian's post!)
A wide-eyed Xanranzan all the same readily follows in Kethra's wake with blades drawn, and immediately scans the area beyond the door for the first foe to immediately blitz with the two swords in hand. If that happened to be a foe right next door, he tries to be quick about catching them between the two in a beheading strikes.
Kethra throws open the bottom door, prepared for all manner of danger . . .but instead finds two big wooden washtubs in the middle of the room, and a row of curtains along the west wall provides privacy for several privies. The room seems empty.

"Let's try the next one then." Tyde moves over to the other door.

Kethra reaches for a club, looks at it, and finds it lacking. Motioning to Mr. Tyde she asks for the boat oar instead. "Ugh, I'm gonna need that. And watch my back, okay?"
Going inside, Kethra creeps through every room, with her pale blue eyes squinted shut and using the oar first to check anywhere that has a closed curtain.

Tyde offers over the oar and follows Kethra as they approach the next building.
"If we don't find anything then let's move on to the next building. Who knows when reinforcements will show up."

The barbarian with the white hair has fought many enemies in the past. Zombies, man-eating rats and even a shark using her bare fists...but none seemed to have put the white haired barbarian in much of a cold sweat as having to explore this room. Well, maybe the fight with Jolliver Grimjaw, but this is definitely a second place event.
While returning to Mr. Tyde a more slightly smelly oar a minute after, Kethra hand squeezes Mr. Tyde's hand a little too tightly as she manages to squeak, "Th-There was not a man in sight...thank God."
Kethra reaches for the dead body she left outside to use as cover, and lifts them up. "Hey, I was really grossed out...why didn't you tell me about that room?!"
While shaking the guard, Kethra replies in a cartoony voice, "So-rry, Keth. I'll tell you what, I'll go check the next room for you, is that fair?"
"Nope! Now spend all of eternity in this cursed room!" having a soft cackling laugh not too loud that someone in the other room might hear, Kethra drags the body into one of the stalls in the room, props them up like they were throwing up in a toilet, closes the curtain and rejoins the party.
Rubin continues to accompany the others, just invisible in the darkness. "We need to be out of here before daylight." He reminds the others, keeping an eye out for any sign of daylight on the horizon.
Kethra nods, asking Rubin quietly, "Where did you want to go after this keep? If we don't find the men who we left sleeping when we came in, did you want to track them down?"
You know, I forgot to ask this, but.. how did you guys in here anyways again?
Kethra points out the docks as the party walks past them. "We had been warned this place was pretty well defended, scouted it out, and decided to swim in during nightfall as they were mostly people...er, humans like me, I mean! But yeah we left most of them sleeping before we went underground to find you and Sorak to try and lessen casualties..."
Xanranzan doesn't even remotely question Kethra's body handling actions, assuming he see/hears any of it. He just averted his gaze until it was time to follow along to the next destination.
When his question gets answered eventually, he said, "Ahh, right, right. Although, huh... that would make getting those people a little tricky. Folk my not be quite the swimmers. Not that I'm one to talk." Xanranzan gestures to his stony body, then shrugs. "Apart from the next move as far as the keep goes. Any chances of maybe not needing to swim? If not, then... I guess I'll suck it up."

"Where to go next?" Rubin asks with a frown no one can see. "Let's worry about what is in front of us, then we can discuss options once we are out of here."
The next room appears to be an armory of some sort. Most of the equipment is old and worthless, although still usable for the most part.
Is there any armor that'll protect me from the tooth swords but don't give me disadvantage to use stealth? Something better than leather, like breastplate?
Rubin moves with the group, but in the darkness outside of any light they are using.
The nearest room is a large structure with two doors on the side you can see. Which do you open, top or bottom?

Rubin readies an action to shoot any hostile enemy that appears when whichever door is opened.
We'll try the bottom door, I guess.

To the rest of the party, Kethra cautiously opens the door a crack, takes one whiff of what's inside, then closes the door again.
"Yeah...I'm out for this one."
(OOC: This is the same building as this one, right?)
Tyde looks to Kethra. "Nothing in that one?"
"Let's try the next one then." Tyde moves over to the other door.
"Ah, fine I'll go for it!"

(Same building, yes.)
‘There’s nothing of use in the building, although it’s obviously not, ah, unused.
