Macawi will stretch from her meditation in the morning. She was not aware of anything going around her. She notices being wet and knows those are her tears. She says out loud so Journey can hear, "great the roof must be leaking... from the fog. No wonder these rooms were so cheap."

She heads down stairs for food and to meet up with the others. Macawi is visibly distraught.
Journey will head downstairs with a tightly bound cloth bundle in his arms. He asks, “Where are we headed off to?” He also will take a plate of food from Alan if he is still serving.
To Journey, "We will be heading to the butcher 3-4 blocks from here. Tarina has been known to spend time there. Maybe the butch knows something about her."
To everyone, "I'm ready to head over when you guys are done eating."
The air is foggy, still and cold this morning. The streets, which would be usually be busy at this morning hour, are subdued with relatively few people hurrying about. The group follows Skoona’s directions and easily finds the store front of the butcher shop. Peeling paint on the awning reads “Attis the butcher”. The front door is open and a loud thudding of a meat cleaver is coming from inside the shop.
As Ourick walks in, the smell of blood and pig becomes overwhelming. A large Firbolg in a bloody apron and a white cap is chopping through a half of a hog that is laying on a wide wooden countertop. No one else is in the shop. There are several sausages and cured meets hanging from the rafters and fresh cuts of meet are displayed on a paper covered table near the one window for this room. There is an open door leading to a back room through which you see several skinned and bled hogs hanging from their legs.
As you walk in the butcher greets you without skipping a beet on hi chopping, “Good day.”
I join Ourick in questioning the butcher. After whatever the butcher responds with Ourick, I ask, "We would like to inquire into an acquaintance of yours, Tarina. Does that name ring a bell?" I will continue to ask him about her, any info he has, etc.
To Ourick the butcher says, "Sure do, on that wall there." He points his cleaver to a hook on the wall that hangs heavy with jerked meat and then goes back to cutting up the hog.
Nothing seems out of the ordinary where you are. But you see a pair of cellar doors for the butcher shop partially hidden under some palettes half-way down the wide alley to the left.
As Macawi walks the alleys, she sees that the rear of the butcher shop shares its rear wall with the residential building behind it. Both alleys are about 80ft long and span the depth of the two buildings. There is one large window for the butcher shop that opens into the wide alley. Looking in the window you can see an assortment of fresh cuts of meat displayed on a table.

I say to Macawi, "I'm ready to go." I gather my things together.

Ourick walks in. What does he see?
Macawi looks at the front of the build to see if there are alley ways to the back.

Macawi sees alleyways on both sides of the building, a wide one to the left and a thin one to the right.

Ourick walks slowly and browses the displayed meats. “Good day sir. Do you have any jerky for sale?”
Journey would stay outside, keeping an eye out for anyone acting suspiciously.

Macawi will walk to the back to see if there is window or door she can peer into. She tells Journey what she is doing.

For Ourick:
You notice that the butcher has a badly swollen black eye that he is trying to hide by wearing his cap low on his forehead.
To Ourick the butcher says, "Sure do, on that wall there." He points his cleaver to a hook on the wall that hangs heavy with jerked meat and then goes back to cutting up the hog.

To Filvendor the butcher says, "Good morning. Sorry, don't know anybody by that name." The butcher does not skip a beat in his chopping.
((roll insight))
Ourick picks out enough for several people to have a decent snack. “How much for all of this?”
