This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mardon opens fire, starting with the one Rubin wounded, and moving on with his remaining shots to the other if, and only if, that one drops. He uses Sharpshooter and Crossbow master features.

( Haha I thought the same thing. Or do you want each of us to roll our own damage?)
"Well that was fun, though I felt a little useless." Ander looks around to make sure there aren't anymore guards around, as well as what's around this room (Perception check: 5 or Investigation check: 2 - whichever one you wanted or if I need).
Once we've checked and cleared the room, Ander turns to Rubin and Mardon. "Now I've got an idea gents. Well three actually, but let's stick with the best options. First one is I send out Clover to check ahead in the tower for us. The other option, I cast Invisibility on you both to follow along behind me and I pose as a messenger from the supplier of the goods." Ander plays the messenger for effect, "After all, my employer has gotten word that your shipment has been compromised and is very displeased. He wishes for me to confirm its safety and return to him, else further shipments and business might be more... difficult." He drops the act, then continues with a chuckle, "With you invisible, you can position yourselves advantageously should anything go wrong."

"A complicated plan that could go wrong and end up with me having to shoot down a bunch of guards anyway, if they get suspicious? Hell yeah, you're doing all the heavy lifting, man, have at it," Mardon says. "I didn't wear my sneaking pants, but I can keep quiet and stand around easy enough if they can't see me."
"Hehe complicated, but I figure if I can keep them busy so you can get the drop on them, it's worth a try. Plus, who knows, these knuckle heads might just tell us where to find what we're looking for."
(DM Question - could I cast Guidance to allow Mardon a d4 on stealth, then cast Invisibility as soon as that roll was done? They're both concentration, that's why I'm asking. It's a long shot, as I don't know if the stealth roll would carry or not, and once the roll is done, guidance is finished, but I'm not sure if I'm trying to bend the rules a bit too much with that.)
"Glad somebody came along with a complex heist plan," Mardon says. "I was just going to keep dropping bodies until we found the crate, or I ran out of bolts." He gestures to his 4 cases of crossbow bolts, one of which has been in use thus far. "And that's a whole lot of bodies."
"Hehe I wouldn't call it a complex plan, just the start of one," Ander chuckles as he searches around the room. "I've found my silver tongue has gotten me outta a few tight spots in the past. I appreciate your enthusiasm with the bolts. You may still get to use many of them yet."

OOC: I had assumed he was having the familiar scout and we were also then going to proceed with the invisibility + con plan, by my reading, after the familiar scouts a bit.
"Can't be any worse than what we have done so far." Rubin agrees with the plan.
(DM, you normally just roll the normal damage and, if someone saves for half, they just divide it by 2. If you want us to roll the 4d8, then tell us to do so, otherwise just roll 4d8 and those who save for half can divide the damage by 2.)
