Taters' run on the rooftops comes to an end when the horned bunny dares a jump that is mathematically too long for its abilities. He belly-flops into some empty crates and stays down for a few seconds. He then stands back up and looks around a bit confused. (Taters takes 11 fall and crate damage.)
Doozey, Utar, and Graxxcontinue their run, with the halfling falling a bit behind.
@Neya:
"Us meeting and talking like this during a mission is inadvisable. Eyes on the street will have reason to stop and stare. Information is a powerful weapon, you'll remember Estra saying as much repeatedly." Olida responds first with an attempt at a sermon. She then adds: "I arrived only recently, for the mission. Plenty of demand for our services in Phlan. We told you so in the letter, I trust you got it? She pats Neya on the shoulder, amicably. "But more importantly, why are you interfering with it, Neya?"
Neya has caught up with the fugitive, benefiting from darkvision.
Taters fell and is 90 feet away from the fugitive.
Taters shakes his head a few times to clear it of the lingering daze. He quickly remembers his goal, and so spends a moment flickering and turning his ears about to catch a familiar voice...
Suddenly, he perks up, and without a moment's hesitation goes bounding off once more; injured, yet strangely excited having survived a fall that would've surely killed a lesser bunicorn.
As for Doozey, even though he is quickly outpaced, the stoutling keeps to a brisk jog.
"I did receive, read and burn of the message. However, our encounter is a strange mix of unexpected and inevitable," Neya begins with a shrug. "During my time in this city, I have heard of many things: raids from a ghostly ship, a series of brutal assaults, and more recently, a string of murders. All of the victims seemed to be unrelated, but do have have one thing in common. They were all once a part of a military unit."
"A few others and I were informed of this by one of the remaining members of that unit and were tasked to find the truth behind the deaths. In fact, one of those I've been investigating with was a member the same group, himself."
"Which leads to tonight when we were to meet with, again, another person from that unit. Only, we were seconds too late. We saw a figure on the roofs and, well, the rest can be filled in."
"It... appears that none of the others managed to stay up here." Neya steals a quick glance down the path on the roofs she left behind. "But, to be candid, one of them is magically tracking you as we speak. Even if I had similarly not been as able, we might have found you later - possibly in a more public space - and jeopardized our operations in the area to a greater degree."
Knowing he's dependent on the stoutling to point their way, Utar slows pace and watches Doozey for the turns. The residential streets of Phlan are largely unknown to the cleric, and after a while, begin to blend together.
Despite the slight delay, Taters quickly regains his bearings and advances towards his target.
Doozey continues to move at full speed, while Graxx and Utar slow their pace a bit to allow the stoutling to catch up.
@Neya:
Olida's response to the first paragraph: "That all sounds like a lot of opportunities for well-trained agents of the Silent Wood, if you ask me... Which matches my tale of increased demand from this general area. I trust you have been maintaining a steady stream of work, then?"
Olida's response to the second paragraph: "Hmm... So I take it my target belonged to this military unit you described? That explains why you are chasing me. Our missions seem to conflict, then. If I escape and finish my mission, you fail yours at least temporarily. If you capture me, I fail mine. A conundrum then."
Olida's response to the third paragraph: "Right. That means my other pursuers are unlikely to stop just for a chat, as you have. What shall we do, sister?"
Olida's response to the fourth paragraph: "Magically or not, he can't track me for hours upon hours. All I have to do is keep running. Maybe isolate him... take him down. You wouldn't want our operations to be compromised further, as you put it, right? We end our conversation now, before they catch up. We go our own ways until destiny brings us together again, sister. What say you?"
Neya has caught up with the fugitive, benefiting from darkvision.
Taters is 40 feet away from the fugitive on the streets.
Neya answers the first question, "Indeed, I have been busy. I have even been involved in looking into the other rumors. The ghost ship turned out to be a cover by the Cult of the Dragon, accompanied by some kuo-toa, drow and a tribe of warriors - also a literal ship from the Nine Hells that took everyone by surprise. As for the assaults. Until last night, there was a pack of lycanthropes prowling the city. We took them out in their own lair. The gods only know how we achieved that."
She responds to the second statement, "Yes, it seems at first we are at an impasse. However, I can think of one other way. My team needs to locate a bigger fish. Specifically, the one who is commissioning these hits. Since I doubt you would be so forthcoming with that information, we have some legwork to do. A difficult venture to be sure, but hard jobs appear to be our specialty."
After Olida finishes speaking Neya crosses her arms, "Very well. You can go. My team won't like it, at first. But, they are capable of seeing the bigger picture."
"Until we next meet. Take care, Olida." Neya put her hand on Olida's shoulder with warm smile.
Close. Very close! Taters could feel it in his jellies! And also, it was fairly sure now he was getting close to the two. Upon realizing the fugitive (and by extension Neya?) were yet still up on high, his attention turns to finding a means to scale the heights once more; even if said methods appear a little... unsafe.
As soon as it can get in range, Taters tries to interpose himself between the two, crouched and horn ready to jab at his illusive foe!
As for Doozey, he just looks confused seeing both Graxx and Utar slow down to run at his side for a moment or two, and then scoffs. "Aw c'mon you two! Pick up the pace again. I'll shout at ya if'n ya go the wrong way, and double back won't nearly be as much an issue for you two. Now go." He says in a huff.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
@Neya:
"Good," Olida/Liddy answers. "Your successes are all of ours, sister. Estra is surely proud."
"I am glad you are able to arrive at an alternate solution so quickly. I shall not argue. Once I am done with my mission, you are welcome to investigate its commissioner as our contract will be complete." Olida lowers her face mask, smiles warmly back at Neya and says "Until we meet again."
She changes her illusory baggy clothing to that of a wealthy lady and jumps off the roof onto the streets. She calmly walks away, as if she owned the block and takes a turn into a dark alley.
After Olida leaves, a few seconds pass before Taters arrive. The creature stops by your feet, clearly tired but satisfied it has reached its destination. He just stands there for now.
(@MB: I'll assume Utar just continues to run for now.)
Surprised his companions are slowing their pace a bit, Doozey yells at them to go full throttle instead. Graxx and Utar do not argue, and the three keep running. The stoutling checks his mental mark on the target and confirms that the group is moving in the right direction.
Somewhat ahead of his master, Taters takes it to the roofs again by hoping on crates, stacked barrels, and window sills. Once up there, he uses his instincts to make sure he is moving in the same direction as before and covers the remaining distance fairly easily. Doozey cannot see his bunnycorn from where he stands now, but he assumes his speedy pet has reached its destination by now.
Neya has caught up with the fugitive, benefiting from darkvision.
Neya takes out the sending stone in her possession and conveys a message to whoever is currently holding the other: "End the pursuit. I know who culprit is, but situation is more complicated. However, an opportunity has opened up. I will explain when back indoors."
Doozey seems equally flabbergasted for a moment, but soon is back to staring and staring ahead. "Well, unless she's planning to help Taters down-..." He starts, assuming the Bunicorn had flawlessly kept up with Neya the whole time. "-I'm still pressing on to get him, at the very least. After which, we can meet back at the one place your devil horned friend mention -- and by -we- this time, I mean -I- will meet back up with the rest of you there. No more delays on my account."
After saying as much in a bit of a hurry as the stoutling hardly wanted to slow for even a moment, he picked up the pace, still planning on dashing to his mark, or at least following the clues left behind that only someone with preternatural tracking skills or magic might pick up along the way.

Utar shakes his head, going on makes sense. Operating on orders or not, Neya is still talking with the assassin who plunged a sword into Litta's back...
"We're to stand down, not back off. Regrouping makes sense. Let's go get your bunny."
While the stoutling continues to dash ahead, Utar walks.
Neya sees Mr. Taters hop up onto the roof and move up to her says to him, "Let's get back to the others."
She then picks him up and brings him down with her and she looks for the rest of the party. Which, as luck would have it, is not too far.
As soon as she rejoins with the rest of CRAP, she says to them in an apologetic tone, "I owe you a lengthy explanation. About what transpired up there and where to go from here."
"Your friends from your old unit should join, as well, Utar. They also deserve to know."
(OOC: Apologies but today's post will have to be quite short. Work calls.)
Neya relays a simultaneously reassuring and confusing message through her magical stone. Utar pauses for a moment and shares the message with the others. Doozey refuses to halt his advance, and Graxx and Utar have little choice but to follow, albeit at a lesser pace.
Within the next 15 or so seconds, the entire group reunites on the streets, some 40 feet away from the roof "marked as the destination," as Neya backtracks to join the rest of CRAP. The monk carries Taters in her arms, who is visibly tired. She promises to explain what happened but asks to do so in the presence of Moneus, Litta, and Captain Burral. Whether those three will agree to meet all in the same room remains to be seen.

Utar comes to a dead stop, letting Graxx and Doozey pull ahead.
"WHAT?!"
Rooting in a hidden pocket on the inside of his tabard his fingers find a smooth, hard stone, closing around it, sending a return message.
Ok. But know that the people who have been killed were my family. I'll stand down but only because I consider you the same.
Calling after the others he jogs to catch them and speaks through gritted teeth. "Message from Neya. We're to stand down."
Edit: I'm assuming that the sending stones allow a return message just like normal casting of sending. If not ignore the message back to Neya.
