Talinian opens his eyes and lets out a low whistle. "That is a most powerful weapon," he says as he turns to the others. Glancing at Falami, he takes a strip of cloth and blindfolds her. "If we are done questioning her, please gag her." Then he explains the nature of the sword.
Baltor, please alert me if the old wizardess does anything aggressive.
"Clearly, by the terms of our agreement with the Magus, the sword is ours. The scrolls are up to debate, however. What are your thoughts?" He glances at Xamyra so she knows he is inquiring of her as well.
While the others' attention is otherwise engaged, Bones runs a hand across the cover of the book and then carefully and quietly puts it in his pack. Then grabs the other scrolls and returns to the others. "Not much luck finding things on my end," he says, "Was too distracted thinking about that sword. Though I did find a couple more scrolls." He gives the gagged Falami a stern look.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Just a quick point but Falami was not subdued in her tent but outside, when she ran into the wall of fire. I was a little confused by the sequence. I will assume that Bones went into the tent to search and came back out.
Talinian looks up as Bones emerges from the tent. “Did you discover anything further? Aside from the scrolls? I am most particularly interested in her spell book and any other material or items she may have had related to her activities here. A journal, or correspondence. Even a collection of reagents and components could tell us much.”
On hearing of the lack of a spell book, Talinian nods and indicates he will try his hand at searching, requesting guidance from Mia.

(OOC - ah yeah, my bad. I lost track of where she was as well. Bones would have gone in the tent to search and returned with her spell book and the scrolls, but not mention the other book.)
"There are few interesting spells there that I might take stock of into my spell book, once time permits," Bones nods to Falami, "I'm sure you understand and are happy for me to do so?"
Talinian looks over at Mia. "You can make the best use of this powerful weapon, Mia. I believe you should take it. Bones, what do you think?"
After that is resolved he gathers the others for a hurried but whispered conference, including Xamyra. However, he never takes his eyes from Falami. "Do any of you have magic that will enhance her cooperation with Mia's questioning?"
Bones nods, "Mia is most definitely deserving of the sword. We've traveled long enough together that I think we can all agree she would make best use of and have the best judgement for its capabilities."
Bones scratches his chin, "The only thing I might be offer is a command. I'm not sure how well it will work though."
Bones strokes his beard as he thinks, "I've not tried it, but I suppose I can unless someone has another idea?"
(DM Question - are you ok with command being used in such a way? The spell has some openness to it, but this is outside the examples, so just want to check first?)
Talinian shakes his head in resigned exasperation. “Fine. If she will not tell us what she was doing here, she’s useless to us. Do you want to kill this one, Bones, or should I?” He pulls out his dagger and tests the point and edges. “Sharp enough,” he comments in a flat tone.

Mialee would simply bow her head respectfully. She'd accept the sword.
just an unstable unicorn.
Talinian considers and then says, "You could command her to obey and then you ask her a question, such as what she was attempting to achieve here."
