Grahl takes a few steps back standing in the center of the platform, then rushes forward and jumps off to land north of the dwarf. Grahl raises his axe high in the air grasping it with both hands. He waits to try and feel when he reaches the highest point of the jump and starts descending. At that moment Grahl starts to pull down his axe and attempt to bring it down ontop of the stone dwarf. As he lands he bends through his knees from the high jump and stands next to the dwarf.
Movement: Getting of the platform jumping next to the dwarf
Action: Reckless Axe Attack: 23 Damage: 16 + 4 radiant dmg from divine fury. Bless: Bonus to hit 4
Chazrael, perhaps infuriated by his previous arrows shattering draws his bow again and pulls just a little harder, just a little stronger, and let's go before even allowing the bow to rest into an aiming position. Trusting his skills proved to be much to his benefit this time, the arrow punching through eye socket that the previous arrow had shattered upon, embedding itself deep and true. Light burst from the crack, the arrows shaft dotting a now bright glowing pool of blue energy. (Dealt 10 damage, Critical!)
Onyx pushed forth one of his most sinister warlock curses upon the creature. His hands waved to and fro in a intricate casting, weakening the warrior and making him more vulnerable to the warlocks other deadly magics. Seeing the arrow make its target clean and true, as he finishes the Hexing, Onyx fires out an eldritch blast, connecting at the arrow shaft like a lightning bolt to a rod. The arrow and eye explode! The force blowing half the statues head away, Where a once poor imitation of a blue glowing eye had formed, there was now just a burning blue flames. (Dealt 11+ 5 Necrotic)
Arbon seized the moment and ran towards his attacker, summoning forth his magics as before and swinging his mace with all his might! The war hammer slams into the creatures back, arching it forward, allowing Arbon to bring the hammer down like a rail worker to the last spike of a thousand mile run. The other half of the face shatters! The blue flame erupting forth in full and powerful might as the statue stands beheaded yet still alive and it screams into the world! (Dealt 19 combined damage)
The headless statue rights itself and runs towards Arbon, this time holding nothing back from its deadly rage! It throws its headless form back as if to smack you with its non existent forehead. Momentary confusing gives way to immediate danger as the fire burns bright enough to blind, flying out in a cone from its open neck now aiming directly downward towards Arbon!!
(Fire Breath hits in a 15 ft cone. From where Arbon is, Chazrael is the only one in that range at 12 feet. Chazrael & Arbon: Make a dex saving throw DC 12. Take 6d6 fire damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful save)
Grahl takes a breath, leaping forth into the sky swinging downward in the middle, landing hard and cleaving the statues back before erupting in light. Its cracks begin to spider out, revealing a hollow shell controlled by the blue flame, which then exploded for one final time. The flame bursts forth, finally shattering what remained of the broken statue. (dealt 18 combined damage)
The fire lands in the middle of you all and the flame begins to dissipate. Before you stands the shadow demon that had hid in the statue. It cowers in fear.

Arbor's Dex Save: 15
(DM Question - are you rolling that damage for cone attack on Chaz and Arbon? Cause depending on how much damage we take, it's going to change my actions in this next round.)
Arbon grimaces as he barely dodges the blast but still takes a hefty hit. He looks over at Chazrael, and seeing him looking hurt runs over to protect him, getting his spiritual weapon to take a swing at the statue while he moves.
Spiritual War Hammer Attack: 17 Damage: 8
Arbon places a hand on Chazrael's shoulder, casting cure wounds (4 healing to Chaz), "Recover your strength."
Seeing the shadow creature move out of the statue in front of him Grahl will follow it. You have angered Gruumsh!!
He makes a few quick steps to swing his axe once more towards the creature even if it does apear to be a shadow form. The axe lights up in a yellow tone as he draws it back then attacks the creature.
Movement: Follow the shadow creature Action: Regular Axe Attack: 8 Damage: 15 + 3radiant dmg from Divine fury Bless: Bonus to hit 4
Chazrael's arrow destroys a little more of the statue, reducing the half torso down to a pelvis and legs. The stone shatters at it collides with the metal arrow tip, blowing chalky white dust into the air all around it.
Onyx inhales a little bit of this as he chokes out a message of possible research and analytical thought. The demon just kind of looks at him before returning to wriggling into the stone floor like a mole trying to burrow through cement.
Arbon continues the vengeful assault on the stone statue, dropping a third and final magical war hammer down after healing Chazrael, utterly shattering its remaining pieces into the same fine dust, now slightly obscuring the area.
The demon flings itself upwards, screaming as its wings pushed the dust into the air away from everyone. Its razor sharp claws lash out and it slashes at Grahl! (Hit 17 Dmg 9)
Grahl returns fire, invoking his raging Barbarian god's might, slamming the ax down on its arm, cleaving the limb clean from its body!
The demon stumbles back, holding its forearm-less bicep, roaring loudly and ready for its final stand!
Arbon places a hand on his chest to use the last of his divine energy to heal himself with cure wounds (healing 4 healing). He then gets his spiritual weapon to come down on the demon, swinging directly for the fiend's head.
Spiritual War Hammer Attack: 9 Damage: 5 (+ 1 to hit)
As the demon strikes its claw against Grahl it draws some blood. Grahl looks at it and smirks. A small line of blood flows down his body as Grahl lifts his axe once more to try and chop down the demon where it stands.
Movement: None Action: Reckless Axe Attack: 21 Damage: 9 + 6 Radiant dmg on hit Bless: 2 bonus to hit
Chazrael fires his arrow out at the demon attacking Grahl, delivering a most serious wound to its side as the arrow punches clean through, spilling out black ooze as it slams into the stone ground.
Onyx leveled his hand towards the demon's form as it grasped its side. A breath later, the chaotic energies of his Eldritch magics come sailing into it, detonating like a bomb on its wings, blowing them apart.
Arbon's last grace of holy magics cover his body as his hands raise and lift in the final Spiritual war hammer drop. It slams the demon into the ground, crunching its legs and breaking the bones within them.
The demon screams out, wailing in pain.
Grahl smiles at his prey, and slams the ax deep into the rocks through and beneath its skull. The black ooze that sprays out a victorious waterfall.
Arbon recasts light on his mace and kneels down to look over the sludge left behind by the demon. "An interesting foe. Do you think he really was the one drawing people to this place? Seems a little too easy for him to be the one causing so much pain and suffering."
"Agreed," said Onyx, "although how many other forces there are, and how strong they are, remains to be seen."
He looked around the empty room, then without another word, proceeding to try to head back the way they came.
(( He's not trying to leave... he just wants to try to, say, stick his arm through just to check and be sure they can get back out of this mirror dimension. ))
As the demon falls, there is a rumbling shake throughout the ground of the hall. The statues dust that was floating about the air far above swirls and dissipates completely. When Onyx goes to check on the door at the opening, he pulls on the handle, and it opens to show the same hall without the statue, but there is no exit.
When he turns around, the doors on the other side of this hall were there. He doesn't have a moment to contemplate, however, before Grahl asks about the location of more demons, and the demons give an answer.
The other doors slam open, with a million black insects pouring out in a flood of chittering bodies. It spills out all over the ground and is just as soon enveloped in a burning flame. The stink of the dead bodies momentary before the same hallway pulls all the smoke and ash back into it.
A second later, a man walks out. He is dressed in a crusaders tabard over a simple brown monk's robe, it's gigantic red cross bore across a white background. He is bald but not old, wild eyed but not manic. His beard wiry but brushed down, and his teeth well kept.
He's oddly charming in his way for someone who just stumbled out of the lowest chamber of hell in a ball of fire and insects.
Man: “I applaud your strength and valor champions. You've come to my doorstep and instead of knocking, kicked it in. Bravo.”
He lowers his head and claps,
Man: “You have the gall to slay my pet and accuse it of being my master. The former, perhaps I could forgive, for the latter it would be impossible.”
His charming demeanor lowers a bit, and he's genuinely irritated,
Man: “Before you stands the Crusader of Arathacos, Champion of the Order of Demon Slaying Knights, “grandest of all living warriors” or so he claimed.”
He lifts his tabard, pulling the robe to the side revealing a starved human form of skin and bones. A fierce and festering puncture wound on its lower stomach.
Man: “He too sought to end the experiments, the sacrifices. I explained to him as I will do to you now, these dwarves summoned me here and I'm not leaving. The weak will comes to those who offer power, yet the powerful hunger as the weak do. How is it the responsibility of the predator to warn its prey?”
A sick twisting pop comes from its jaw as it unhinges. Tears well up in pain but the face does not change expression. Man: “Did you know he's conscious right now? He's been like this for over twenty years. The people who sent him think he's dead, and for all intents and purposes, they're right. Nobody's come for him though, I wonder what they would do if I just let him go right now. What do you think?”
He drops to his knees screaming in pain,
Crusader: “GOD HELP ME, RUN!!!”
He slams his own head into the floor, dropping his hands down like he's praying violently to the statue that was once there. It continues until the crying and screaming stop, and the crusader's face does not return from the floor again. A pool of blood grows all around him.
A sinister, sickening laugh fills the room,
???: “No more illusions.”
The door remains open, with the body some distance in front of it.
Onyx's door too remains open, but the door in the mirrored hall had reappeared.
There was now a way back, as well as forward, though retreat meant turning your back on whatever had controlled the monk. You have a sense that even if you ran now, there's no escape.

Onyx kept his outstretched hand pointed toward the demon. He shook his head.
"Such senseless deaths. What do the rest of you say? Shall we just destroy this evil here and now? I don't have the magic to contain it, myself."

Grahl will inspect the demon to make sure it is dead. Prodding it with his axe as he looks.
He listens to the others speak and thinks of more of these creatures luring in whoever they can find. This must be why Gruumsh sent him.
Where more demons? he asks
He will look around to see if there are signs of other creatures or passages.
(perception 18)
