Sylcan nods his head. "You have part of it right. However, I'm not planning on working with you, at least not for now - I have nothing against you personally, but I'd rather stick with whom I've been traveling with. Your ideals differ from mine, but that doesn't matter much." Sylcan shrugs, then continues. "If at all possible, I'd prefer to keep the state of our opinions of each other how they are." With that, he gives a nod to Latrius and Naivara as well, and then follows behind the others, along with Hezra.
(OOC: If there is still some leather armor on the redbrands, Sylcan will take that before leaving to join Vilana and Honor (and Alden?))
It is now 1 P.M. and you have not had lunch as of yet. You can travel at a slow pace and eat as you travel, if you wish to be moving as you eat, otherwise it is probably a good idea, especially for those who were just in combat, to take a short rest to eat. Travel back to Phandalin can be done in 6 hours at a normal pace, 4 hours at a fast pace.
Hezra has already taken Brun's longswords, chainmail, and money pouch. Unless someone wants to have stopped her, and Mylene would have been unconscious when this happened.
For the bugbears and redcloaks, the ones that are alive, what has been done there? Has the 2 remaining redcloaks been healed? Has the unconscious bugbear been healed? What is the plan with Montru, who is tied up?
Hamun also speaks to those still around, (Honor, Vilana, and Sylcan would not hear this part.) "I have another question to be asked of the Banshee if anyone is willing to do so." He nods to the wand and black cloth he still has in his possession, as well as the second magical shortsword. "I'd be willing to trade these items if someone is willing to go to Conyberry and ask the Banshee that new question for me..."
Honor, Vilana, Sylcan, Higgul, and Hezra
Honor and Vilana start away, with Higgul following, while Sylcan pauses for one last question of Mylene. Sylcan and Hezra then move to catch up with the others of this group, starting towards the path North from here, headed back towards the road.
Latrius, Naivara, and Kierro
After the discussion with Mylene, you move off from her a bit, letting her and Leto decide what they will do. Do you wish to have your lunch here or will you eat as you walk, heading back towards Phandalin?
Mylene and Leto
The others look to be preparing to leave, you will need to decide if you are going to travel with them or not.
Leto, as the only one who looked through the gear of the 2 redcloaks and bugbear, finds: 2 studded leather armors. 1 chainmail armor. 1 glaive 1 maul 2 shortswords 750 cp, 180 sp, 62 ep, and 30 gp
Sylcan nods his head. "You have part of it right. However, I'm not planning on working with you, at least not for now - I have nothing against you personally, but I'd rather stick with whom I've been traveling with. If you wish to delay your departure to get one of the sets of studded leather you can, but you won't be leaving with Honor and Vilana then.
Leto is good to travel with the group back to town. Of the gear, of course he took the coin, and one set of studded leather, but the rest of is no use to him.

You find a place away from the stench of undeath, so far from the tower, to settle down and have a rest and some food. We won't do a true short rest, as I doubt if you wish to stay put for that long, but will say you do take 30 minutes to have something to eat.
If anyone wants to respond to the wizard's request for someone to ask the Banshee a new question, you can do so, otherwise I'll assume you turned him down.
After your rest though you are on your way North, heading out of the well's courtyard and down the slope towards the path back to the Triboar Trail that runs between Conyberry and Phandalin.
Mylene and Leto would find the redcloak who was watching the horses gone, and the horses with him.
Any special things anyone is doing for the travel? stealth etc...
"I suppose that's simple. I'll lead for you all." He looks to the other four, giving a small but warm smile. "And I won't disappoint."
Gazing back up the trail, he adds: "I'll try to convince the others when we see them again, too. But this is a good start."
During lunch, he asks Naivara: "You mentioned that you had forgotten the deity that you served earlier. Did regaining the memory of our past world bring them back to you, as well?
When they finish, Kierro would suggest a normal pace.

Mylene gives a brief exclamation at more “treachery, beastly treachery” at the loss of the horses and the other Redbrand. She is too tired to examine in depth whether this was more of Tessa’s doing, desertion by the Redbrand, or something else altogether.
Prior to setting off for travel she would have taken a moment to clean herself up as best as possible, change her clothes, re-equip herself, etc.
Prior to putting too much distance, Mylene says, “The magus Kost is a man of this world and a wizard of some skill. You were discussing the notion of remembering the gods of our homeland? I think it might be worth asking Kost about this land. I remember my homeland now, just not where I fit in there. Kost might be worldly enough to give us some benchmark. I don’t know if we are in some obscure corner of our world, if so many decades or centuries have passed since our time the world has become unrecognizable, or if we are in another plane of existence entirely. Frankly, we can’t rule out the possibility that none of this is real. Kierro, as leader I’ll put it to you. Would you be willing to engage in a bit more discussion with the mage before we part ways, to learn more, or allow me to do so, and relay what I learn?”
”Leto, I am so relieved you were not among the dead. That was a harrowing ordeal. I don’t want to be separated from you again, if we can help it. You’re... a source of great comfort to me,” Mylene says, a bit opaquely. “I don’t expect that memories only I have of a distant or ancient or alternate place hold a sway over the man you are now, but, those memories told me we meant something to each other. Whatever shape that takes in this new world, I am... glad you’re here with me.”
As you are collecting yourself during hte meal, you would notice that Hezra, one of your redcloaks, left with Sylcan. You would also see that two of your redcloaks died in the fireball. Of the seven you started with, you have three left.
Nerrel the Bold (human rogue/fighter) blond -haired, average-height, and brown-eyed, Mercinary who wears his company's badge still. He has a crude sense of humor and is thick-headed, unwilling to admit when he is wrong.
Kel (human rogue / fighter / barbarian) Massive man standing at 6 feet 8 inches, and weighing around 250. He is powerfully built. He is hot-tempered and sees violence as the answer to any situation. His clan is more important than anything else.
Sivil (human rogue / fighter) Pretty auburn-haired woman with emerald eyes. She is sleight of build, but with an athletic frame. She sees a single piece of gold as a lot of money and would do about anything for some. She hordes small bits of food and other things in her pockets, having grown up on the streets she knows there might not be food available tomorrow, even if things are looking good today.
She speaks to Nerrel, Kel, and Sivil, taking on a somber tone. “To my great sorrow we’ve lost several of our number, including Brun, and we evidently have one or more defectors as well. As you know my concern is my memories, you will be compensated, call it hazard pay. My split of the coin is to be instead divided among you. I have plans to ensure you and your people receive legitimacy, proper recognition as the warrior band you are. For now we journey on. The fallen will be remembered for their strength and honor, the traitors will not be forgiven, and for those who live to fight on, glory and gold still awaits. If any of you are still wounded, I am recovered enough to administer healing” (Mylene has three spell slots worth of cure wounds available if they require it.) “Stay strong, stay loyal. Stay true to the colors you wear. That crimson cloak is going to be something of great significance for this region. This is your heroes’ journey, and you are heroes all.”
Mylene attempts to appeal to their ego, their pride in sense of clan and kinship, and their greed, all in one catch-all speech, with the offer of healing added to raise their morale as well as restore their health.
"It couldn't hurt. I would be interested to know what he has to say as well. I'm sure everyone would like to know. We're not too far, and we're not in a great rush. We should also ask Sister Garaele back in Phandalin."
He turns around and starts heading back toward the tower. "Although, I do have my own theory, based on something that I've been told from someone who might be connected to my previous self. I'll share it with you and Leto once we're back on the trail - I've already told Latrius and Naivara of what I've been told. What Kost says may be able to confirm or deny it."
Kierro's question makes Naivara realize just how much her had been shaking in anger. She takes a deep breath, "Um... the Wildmother..." her cheeks are still red but she seems to be calming down.
Vilana would accept Hamun's task before leaving and will ask all he can tell about that banshee - habits, best way to approach her, any particular things she might not like - all he can tell.
He smiles. "Great to hear that you've found them. Mine was Pelor, the Dawn Father." Kierro's eyes seem to glimmer as that name comes out of his mouth for the first time.
