Latrius stares at the woman. And then bursts out laughing. In between spurts of laughter:
"Leader? Lass, we can lead ourselves just fine without your help. And as for revenge, think about it. What kind of power would it take to erase the memories of at least 5 people, and transport them somewhere?"
He suddenly stops laughing and stares directly at Mylene, completely ignoring her . . .ah . . .physical assets.
"Do you really want to go up against a god, girl? Sure, they might provide a fine hunt, but that means you have to deal with the consequences of catching them. I'll take survival any day."
He pauses. Then sighs, and continues.
"But I forget what it is to be young, to have your blood calling you to action. My apologies. Either way, I must repay my debts to the people of this town before I think about going anywhere else. To abandon them now would be not only wrong, but foolish. I feel no need to have debt collectors chasing me halfway across the continent, nor any need to force myself to kill those fools—they're just doing their job, after all."
He blinks slightly, and seems to realize just how long he's been talking.
"Anyways. You go on your fool's errand if you want, but leave the rest of us out of it."
Latrius is a tall wood elf who appears to be in his late twenties, with long, straight dark hair pulled back in a ponytail, and darker skin than most of his kind. One of his eyes is a startling blood red, while the other is bright green. Both eyes fix on the face of whatever person he's currently talking to, a gaze made even more unnerving by the fact that he rarely blinks. His face has a few wrinkles and scars that suggest he might be older than he looks. He's wearing leather armor, and has a shortsword and a dagger on his belt, and a bow and a quiver on his back.

Vilana nodded: "We can try that. And at least for now no one will be surprised if we get out and look closer at those hobgoblins - a sight you do not see that often (at least I hope it's the case). Who knows, may be that man will recognize you first? Let's see."
Vilana was the first one to get out of the inn and join the crowd around prisoners. She looked at Latrius a touch more intently than necessary but sudden dramatic oration form the young girl made her to step back a bit. She whispered to Sylcan: "On the second thought, we might be good on our own". Still, it did not seem as the speech was met with the great enthusiasm among the crowd Vilana and Sylcan came see. There was a hope. So, she did not left.
"Their kin stole some supplies from a shopkeeper who kindly lent us equipment. Finding those supplies was her price. These four are the remainder of a gang who ambushed us on the road, my companions decided we should be more merciful than they would have been."
(I think the shopkeeper was female, correct me if I'm wrong.)

Honor
(I'm assuming Honor is present, yes?) Honor narrows her eyes at Mylene's words. Insight: 7
"I've no need for a leader or revenge. What I have is a desire to repay those who have helped me."
Honor is a red tiefling, a striking figure with an athletic build -- not as curvy as Mylene, but also beautiful, though less obvious behind chain mail. Her face is framed by horns that curve gracefully along the planes of her skull, and she has black hair and golden, pupil-less eyes.

Sylcan Naïlo: (To Vilana)
Now getting a closer look at the elf, Sylcan was sure it was the same elf of whom he had a memory. Turning to Vilana, he whispered, "I'm sure of it. This is the same elf I remember, although clothed differently." Turning his attention to the young human girl, Sylcan noticed that the group she was addressing didn't seem very familiar with her, and did they also seem a bit uncomfortable? (Insight check: 16) Remembering that he had seen Tessa before, Sylcan quickly scanned the area to see if he could see her. (Perception check: 8)
Kierro seems uncomforable with Mylene's words of revenge and abandoning Phandalin, but alarmed with Latrius laughing at her as well.
"W-we might not be focused on revenge, as you are. But we are dedicated to gaining our memories back. Once we help the town find their supplies, in which we'd appreciate any help possible, we can concentrate on finding what took our memories and pursue that goal.
...all of our memories were taken at once, and we appeared in the same area. We must have known each other before, and possibly worked together. We should work together now, as well." he says to Mylene, a glint of hopefulness and optimism in his eyes.

Mylene Durza
Mylene interjects, "You don't 'forget what it is to be young,' you 'forgot' damn near everything, as we all did. There's no personal history to appeal to, age is of no consequence here without any useful experiences to draw data from. With our shared malady, age doesn't equate to wisdom. I'd say giving a damn about setting this right makes more sense than pretending it didn't happen, wouldn't you?
"Though I may not have endless years of experience to draw on, I do have endless years of instinct. That instinct right now is telling me to worry about the large things later, and take care of the small things first. I don't plan on pretending nothing happened, I'm just content in realizing there's not much I can do about it right now."

"Quite possible, Kierro, was it? Yes, we may have known each other. My initial suspicion is that you people may have been my retainers and men at arms, I'm likely some figure of importance, an empress or czaress or something similar, and my foes sought to bring me low by attacking my memories and spiriting me away from my seat of power," Mylene rattles off the story without no evidence beyond her own assurance that is "important." "So given that we likely did know one another, it makes sense for us to resume the likely pecking order we had at that time. I'm sure in time I'll be able to discern which of you were higher ranking members of my entourage, and who fell beneath them, based on how valuable you are to me."

And repay those who have hurt you, as well. Both are important in this world. I don't need all of my memories to know that."
"I may not remember much about my previous life, but I feel I know enough to know I served no one. I find it more likely that you're indulging your own prodigious sense of self-importance, and if you truly were at some point my employer . . .it's very likely I'm better off being unemployed."

"Quant and little perhaps, but certainly not nothing. The people of this town, judging from both my experience and some of the ones I've met already, they've been of help to us in equipping ourselves, and they've heard us out when we told them of our plights. It's the least we can do, assisting them with the vital supplies.
...perhaps there's more of us scattered throughout the town. Maybe we could search for this afternoon and tonight, and set out for the hideout where the hobgoblins said the supplies were kept tomorrow morning."
Mylene Durza
"This I agree with. It does stand to reason there are more of us, and evidently centered around this town. Getting in the town's good graces, as we're going to operate here for some time, is a good start. Well done, my... crew," Mylene says, biting off the word "minions" and somehow congratulating them on actions they performed before they had ever met her, and somehow taking credit for it. "We can begin canvassing the area for more of our kind. The 'erased' I believe one of you call us. It's a good enough term until we find something better, for myself and my forgetful entourage. I can assure you I will show judgment, and not be unreasonable, in my forgiveness - or lack thereof - of any ill chosen words, during this time when you have forgotten your station. Be certain that you all do the same, so you can stay in my good graces when all it set right. I'm the only one who seems fairly sure I know what's going on, after all."
"I may not remember much about my previous life, but I feel I know enough to know I served no one. I find it more likely that you're indulging your own prodigious sense of self-importance, and if you truly were at some point my employer . . .it's very likely I'm better off being unemployed."

"Lady, I've never met you before in my life. And I can guarantee the chances of you being a czaress are lower than the bottom of my foot. I've no desire to associate with someone who automatically assumes that everyone they meet is their servant."She puts a hand on one of the hobgoblins. "I'm turning this lot in. If you want to wander around asking who wants to be your footman, have at it, but I want no part of it."She starts moving the hobgoblins along.
