Mylene initially takes the offer as simply what she is owed, given her natural inclination to expect servitude from others, but tempers her own self assured nature momentarily. "I say this sounds quite agreeable, magus Glasstaff. Given this arrangement, I will accompany you, but I must first ask for one point of clarification. I am someone who always makes good on what I owe, and I am generous to those who show loyalty to me, and aid me well. Walter likely intuited this, and I am grateful for his service, as I would be those of your men and your network."
"Indeed, all of this sounds most beneficial - your people, your network, proper equipment, and of course, more fitting attire for one such as myself. I must ask what you are envisioning. I would propose you view this as a long term investment, that when I am returned to my proper position of power and authority, you and the Redbrands will have cultivated a most useful friendship and alliance. Is that how you are envisioning things? Or was there a more short-term exchange of services you had in mind? I simply want to be clear on the terms of our understanding, our verbal contract, as it were."
"To be completely transparent..." the wizard says with a nod to Milene. "I would not say no to some short-term enjoyment between us..." His eyes rake over you slowly, but not disrespectfully. "But that is not required, though I would regret the lack. What I am looking for, as is my employer, is to know what you, and those like you, are doing here. This many people, suffering as you are, cannot be allowed to go without us learning more. We view our investment in you as a long-term thing, hoping to learn the how and why of your being in this place and time. As long as the relationship is mutually beneficial, I do not see why it should not continue onward, even after the how and why are discovered." He would hold your eyes for a long moment. "You, and those like you, are a unforseen wrinkle in our plans, to be blunt, and we need to know if that wrinkle can be used for furthering our plans, or if it is something we need to deal with. I think there is much to be gained by working with one of you, and so does my employer."
"I thank you for your candor, magus," Mylene answers. She seems to find the man's level of conduct entirely appropriate - acknowledging her obvious charms without being overtly lecherous, and acknowledging both his own interests as well as hers - a productive negotiation indeed, from her perspective. "And given this, I can agree to this alliance. I will happily accompany you to your manor, and see what equipment and clothing you have available that might suit me, and perhaps a hot bath. As to myself and those like me, I agree, this would be of concern to any local authorities. I will tell you what I can about this phenomenon." "
I expect whoever or whatever is responsible for this initiated this some time ago. I and others like me have discovered items that have been in circulation for some years, that once belonged to us, indicating we may have been in some sort of suspended state for many years. As to whether there is some significance to us all appearing in this region, or not, that has yet to be determined. Based on what I know I can assure you, this is no plot of enemies of the Redbrands, unless it was a plot initiated many years in the past. Still, providing a guiding hand in regional matters, and avoiding chaotic complications, is wise. We will do what we can ensure my fellow Erased, if you'll forgive the crude term, do not upset the balance of this region. Now, let us be off to your manor."
With that, Mylene cements her alliance with the Redbrands, as she sees it.
I have you all staying in the camp outside of town. If I missed something from Honor, as to where she was staying instead, then we can update. You guys find a rough campsite outside of town, but near the road. The night is not exactly comfortable, especially to those who don't feel this would be normal for them, but you all get a long rest and wake refreshed.
Tessa...
You are easily able to find a place in the stable behind the Stone Hill Inn. In that stable you see two horses tethered, one looking fairly high-bred, the other a nag. You too have a long rest, and wake refreshed.
Kierro and Naivara...
You are put up in the elf acolyte's home. The evening is spent in prayers and requests to the Lady of Luck on your behalf. You have a very comfortable night and wake refreshed.
Milene and Walter...
You are brought to the hideout of the redbrands in the town. It is what remains of the cellar of some ancient manner. Glasstaff gives Milene some new clothes, a dress, boots, shift, belt, and mantel befitting her noble stature. Milene would notice the clothes seem to be a different fashion that she would be use to, the clothes not quite what she was expecting, but still decent as far as those things go. Milene can also equip herself with any equipment from the PHB she wishes to have. Nothing magical though. You have as restful of a night as you wish to have, then wake in the morning refreshed. Walter stays close by.
Clutching his chest, Leto shook the grayness from his vision. The room he stood in now hung heavy with dust and seemed filled with rubble and rat droppings. Looking around cautiously, he thought this may have, at one point, been two rooms, but a wall looked to have fallen, making it a larger space. He had no clue how he had gotten here, wherever this was. The last he recalled was the rift in the redbrand hideout, and the two thugs he was fighting. The battle had been quick and bloody, but he had fallen to one of the thug's blade. He recalled the ring then and, glancing to his hand, saw it firmly on his finger, as if it belonged no where else. Looking over his body, he saw no signs of the wounds he had taken in that battle. He was naked again though, only the ring on his finger to show for any of what had happened before. Leto felt his attention get tugged then, and he turned to face an area near what would have been the corner of the wall, if it had not fallen who knew how long ago. The sense was the same as the ring had been, pulling him towards it, some sense telling him he must find what was under that rubble at any cost.
Kierro awakens, eager and thankful to the acolyte for her hospitality. He makes sure Naivara is ready as well before heading towards the inn with her to meet with the others.

Forgot to post this part from the previous night...
As those in the campsite are getting ready for bed, and whomever is taking first watch is doing so, a wagon comes out of the darkness. This happens after 10 P.M. On the wagon are a bloodied set of adventurers. A blond-haired female, wearing chain mail and holding a shield with the symbol of a god on its front, a god none of you recognize the symbol for. There is a bulky human warrior, with black hair and gray eyes, also in chain mail, but with a great sword over his shoulder. A gnome and a halfling sit in the wagon's seat, next to a human wearing wizardly robes. A beautiful human female with black hair walks next to the wagon. The black haired female and the black haired warrior look like siblings. The female introduces herself as Nolla, the big warrior as Wilm, the blond paladin as Leann, the gnome as Eldon, the hafling as Kade, and the wizard as Taman.
The meeting with the group in the campsite is respectful. You learn that this group was traveling to Phandalin, under the pay of a dwarf who hired them to escort a supply wagon to town. They ran into a goblin ambush along the way, then followed those goblin's trail back to their hideout. The adventurers cleared out the hideout and added crates of supplies from the goblin's loot to their own wagon. Inside the wagon you spot several crates with the Lionshield Coster symbol on them. The adventurers, the black haired human woman named Nolla doing the talking for them, explains those crates, among others, were in the goblin's hideout.
After finishing with you, the adventurers head on into town, seeking the town guard and wishing to get the supply wagon into a safe place before they find beds in the inn. They would agree to tell you more about their encounters and the supplies once they have time to rest, they are all looking near exhaustion from the forced march to reach town.
As you wake up, wherever you are, and whatever you were doing from the previous night, you sense it... A tugging... It feels more distant this time, but just as intense of a pull on your consciousness. It is off to the East.
(I think I had the directions backward before. When the team left earlier, and fought the hobgoblins, you went West from town, not East. Now you feel the pull from the East, and know it is some distance from town.)
You are brought to the hideout of the redbrands in the town. It is what remains of the cellar of some ancient manner. Walter stays close by.
Mylene Durza
Mylene has a long hot bath, finds a makeup kit (Disguise Kit) and some Perfume that suits her aesthetic tastes, and surveys the clothes, finding them at least a bit more appropriate for someone of her clearly noble background. She selects a variety of useful mundane items (no magic items or healing potions) and two horses - one proper riding horse, and one pack horse to pull a cart and carry the bulk of her goods in the cart and saddlebags - "I don't want to turn dear Walter into a pack animal, after all." - and prepares to return to the town square the next morning, feeling much more confident now, with allies and a patron of sorts.
Before leaving to regroup with the other Erased she consults with Glasstaff again - either over dinner the night before, or in the morning before setting off, but in either case after bathing and making herself present more as she prefers to, resplendent in noble's finery. "My thanks for your generosity and foresight in this matter, magus. Before leaving to learn more from the others like myself, you mentioned wanting to know more about us, and I was going to inquire as to what your magic might be able to do to reverse this, or at least tell us more, if there are any spells you would like to attempt to use for that cause. Now would be a fine time. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have, and to know what your magic can do, or at least tell us, about this curse."
OOC: The conversation with Glasstaff probably takes place over dinner the prior night, we can wrap it up at any point or you can abstract the salient points, DM's preference. When she feels the pull to the East in the morning like the others, she will search for them in town to see if they feel the same phenomenon she does.
Tessa stretches and yawns as consciousness interrupts her rest. She snickers to herself as she starts to think she can't remember ever having such a restful nights sleep. She corrects herself, I can't remember ever having a nights rest. Her snicker turns into a deep bellied laugh at her own expense. She rolls up her meager possessions within her bedroll, ties the bedroll across her back, and heads into the inn. She takes a moment to be sure she has no loose hay in her hair.
At the inn, she will take a seat at an empty table as she awaits the others to arrive. Certain that some of them have chosen to rest at the inn.
She calls to the serving girl, "I would like to break my fast, dear. Do you have any porridge this morning and a mug of water? Also, as a way of an apology for yesterday's incident; I would like to leave this bucket of raspberries with you for your kindness." She pulls out a small handful of berries to sweeten her porridge and passes the rest on to the young woman.
It was around 10 P.M. when you got back to the hideout, so there would be no chance for conversations, especially with the bath. The wizard would have settled you in and then suggested you meet in the morning to discuss things further. We will have this meeting take place that morning. Does that change anything about what you posted?
Like others, Vilana was listening the story of the caravan, that finally came thorough. "Looks like our job there is finished already. Are we going to check or should we believe the word of the kind strangers that all goblins are destroyed?"
Sleeping outside was not as bad as she expected. Waking up to the bids songs could even be called pleasant. But after the breakfast Vilana admitted growing anxiety out loud: "Does anyone else feels the need to go east? Same as we all had before, when we just woke in ... different places around the town?"

The wizard would have settled you in and then suggested you meet in the morning to discuss things further. We will have this meeting take place that morning. Does that change anything about what you posted?
OOC: No, she would still go about the same conversation with the wizard that morning, she would probably just show slight signs of anxiousness, and add, full statement here: " "My thanks for your generosity and foresight in this matter, magus.
"Additionally, in the interest on full disclosure, as you noted, I believe the phenomenon is pulling me towards the east. I would assume the others are feeling the same compulsion. When we finish our business here I believe it would be in both of our interests for me to investigate this, as I am sure they'll all head in that direction shortly. Better for them to do so with my supervision, as well as that of any agents you wish to send to observe."
Having disappeared after breakfast, Sylcan popped out from behind Vilana, from the tree line. "Now that you mention it, yeah, I'm feeling that same pull." Turning to Latrius, Sylcan asked, "How about you?"His demeanor had changed, it wasn't the same collected demeanor he had had the day prior. It was more... carefree?
In the morning, Honor heads out to meet up with Latrius and the others who spent the night camping. After they inform her about the group they met last night, she says "Well, that's a shame, I was looking forward to a good fight. I hardly got to participate in the first one. I hope we'll still be able to call ourselves square with Linene, considering someone else has done most of the footwork for us. Where did you say the crates ended up?"
Latrius checks in with Linene to make sure his debt is covered, then sets out for the East. He’ll go with whoever was planning on meeting him to hunt goblins.
