With flashes of lightning, flame, and steel the rest of the frog-people are dispatched. The strange metal room echos with the last sounds of battle before returning to the quiet drone of rushing water.

Seeing that there is no immediate danger, V'rekh would move towards the nearest bleeding captive and try to stabilize them without unchaining them. "Why are you tied here?"

As the ringing begins to settle, Borax takes a place by the door at the back of the room, remaining on guard for anything that may have heard the noise.

"If you need some time with them, I am sure we could secure this room."
Uthred breathes in, relaxes, adjusting his hair and taking away the sweat.
He is visible tired.
At first he touches the bodies of those frog-beings and, once sure they are dead for good, kneels down to examine one of them and then what seemed to be the chief (for belongings of any sort and in general to notice their strange features if anything connected with the lights in the sky)

Hopping into the water and swimming over to the chained individuals, V'rekh finds that two of them are now dead while the other three are alive but unresponsive.
Listening by the raised exit, Borax can hear a quiet and continuous hum over the sound of running water but no sign anyone is coming towards the room.
Uthred searches through the dead frog-people's belongings. (Intelligence (Investigation) 20)
"It seems clear for now,"Borax says quietly to the others, "but I'm not sure for how long."As he moves back toward the three surviving captives, Borax studies them closely to see if he can make anything of their actions. First, trying to remember if he has seen or heard of anything like them before, and second, if he can tell if they are a threat As he does so he offers a silent prayer that the may understand the situation.
Studying the chained captives, Borax is able to glean that they are sailors by their calloused hands, sun-touched skin, and the style of clothes they're wearing.
Checking over the corpses, Faylen doesn't find anything Uthred missed, until she looks over the frog-person in the water who appears to have a black pearl tucked into the folds of their clothes.

Borax approaches the three sailors in a calm a manner as possible. ((Are they unresponsive, as in not talking to us, or that they don't even appear to hear our voices?))"It's ok. We are here to help. I am going to release you." As he says this, Borax moves slowly and deliberately, trying not to startle them, but hoping for some sign of recognition as he does so. Persuassion: 7
When he reaches the first of the sailors, Borax unties the ropes and helps them to get out of the water. "Jarrett, can you help this man while I get the others?"

V'rekh wades towards Borax "I can help one of them, sadly the other did not made it." Still a bit suspicious about the captives, the tortle prepares to retaliate with a shocking grasp should they start getting aggressive towards him or his companions.

Jarrett nods and rushes over to assist. "Of course, I do not have many uses of my devices and I cannot surely rouse all of them, but this one I can definitely help." He reaches into one of the many pouches hanging across his body and finds a glass vial filled with a viscous, blue liquid. He then slides the vial into a small opening on the contraption he wears upon his forearm. He rotates the contraption around his wrist with a series of clicks and ticks, placing the vial beneath his wrist which then causes an needle-like extension to protrude past his wrist. He inserts the small needle into the muscle of the man and depresses a small button on the top of his wrist. With a soft hiss, the blue liquid is dispensed into the muscle of the man and immediately the artifice begins working to knit damaged organs and muscle tissue from within...
Borax finds the remaining sailors unconcious and they do not react to his statement. He is unable to free them from their chains by hand, but Uthred tosses the key he found to the cleric as he examines the pearl Faylen presents to him. The manacle locks are a bit jammed but Borax easily frees the sailors and Jarrett helps bring them out of the water carefully. The artificer administers his tincture to one of the sailors while V'rekh waits over his shoulder with lighting in hand.
With the blue fluid coursing through his veins the elf sailor opens his eyes wearily. In a scratchy voice he manages the words "Where am I? What happened to the light?"
Hearing the prisoner speak, V'rekh relaxes a little. "Are you talking about a red light in the sky?" he asks back "we were trying to find what caused it, as it made a ship crash somewhere around here. It seems to have a hypnotic effect on whoever sees it."
"We heard mention of this light. That's what drew us to the area."Borax looks through his pack and finds some food and water to share with the captive ensuring that some is saved for the other two should they regain consciousness. "I think we might be resting here for a while before we keep looking. You are more than welcome to stay with us should you wish to. Although I would understand if you wish to put some distance between you and this place."
Faylen grins as she witnesses the tortle kicking some ass, striking out at the nearest frog-person in her own attempts.

Borax determines the other two are unconcious and very exhausted. They have probably not been given proper food and water for days.
"Yes a red light, it's the last thing I remembered before I wound up here. Everything since has been a daze of screams and frogs."
"We heard mention of this light. That's what drew us to the area." Borax looks through his pack and finds some food and water to share with the captive ensuring that some is saved for the other two should they regain consciousness. Uthred wants to shut his mouth but he simply cannot:
What do you mean rest, Borax? You want other frog-men to give also a pillow and lullabies?!
And then , to the talking prisoner:
Please, man, concentrate: how many frog-men did you see?
