Mirica had no means to detect anything magical but looked around not crossing the threshold.
To Xemnez he simply nods and gives a small sad smile "Thank you for explaining, I had no idea what you were talking about. Fear not though, the language and emphasis on words will at time give hints of intent, but at the end of the day we've known each other for only a short time, and ultimately antagonizing people with some measure of power is not conducive to happy relationships. Nuzej does his sweep for foes, returns, and then begins to help investigate for items. Though he cannot move things, he can duck in and out of closed/locked doors, into closets, wardrobes, storage units, lofts, second floors, drawers, etc with his goggles of night and the abilities granted by the spell. He looks for anything that might be interesting, staying within a round's movement of Toc who can still see him, to give indications of where items of note might be. He's trying to be as helpful as he can possibly be.

The group moves into the large warren of old shops, staying clear of the central area on the lower floor where the golem is stomping about. They go to work digging about in the detritus and ruins of the market place, with the huge headless metal golem below continuing to walk about and occasionally bang into something or toss a rock.
Everything is frozen, under a layer of ice or frost, and has been sitting, undisturbed for almost fifteen hundred years. If it were not for the cold weather, much of what was here would have have decayed into uselessness. As it is though, as you disturb ice and stone you find valuables amidst the rubble.
Thyrius is digging about when he spots two strange metallic legs. He manages to dislodge them from the ice. They're fairly heavy, and tingle with magic. (weigh 20lbs together). It will be soon enough that they are identified for him. When identified : These legs can be affixed to almost anything. They will attach themselves to an item and then lift, and stand. They will then follow whomever attached them to that object, 'carrying' the object for them. They can carry up to 500 lbs.
Nuzej meanwhile manages to spot a leather bag that has somehow survived the ages, and waves Toc over. Toc nods and pulls it out. The bag looks ratty, and for Toc, it smells terrible. Once identified, he finds this bag, when upended, will eject a live rat. It can eject one rat per hour. If turned inside out, it can eject 2d100 rats all at once, and then it's magic is ended.
Simaal meanwhile finds a strange rubbery ball the size of an orange. Once identified, he finds that the orb is bouncy and has a texture like rubber. A creature who is proficient in simple ranged weapons can use this weapon. You can use either strength or dexterity modifier. When thrown, it deals 1d6+Modifier bludgeoning damage. It then bounces to a creature within 10ft of the first target, of the attackers choice. The attacker then makes another attack throw with a -2 penalty to the result dealing 1d6 bludgeoning damage. The orb can bounce an unlimited number of times, taking an additional -2 penalty for every new attack and can hit the same target multiple times. When it misses the effect stops. It does not return to the thrower.
He also comes across a comb made of orange glass, somehow still intact amidst the ruins. It also has magic within it. When identified, he finds out that any lightning attack within 10' of the combs possessor is diverted to the comb instead, absorbing the energy. If the comb takes 6 or more lightning damage, it shatters.
Xemnez meanwhile finds an intact blade. The weapon looks wonderous, with strange jagged edges along it. It is a forged longsword, that requires attunement. It has a cross guard and hilt made of blue steel. Every successful melee attack deals an additional 1d6 lightning damage to the target. Once per turn on a successful hit, if the attacker chooses a bolt of lightning will leap and hit an enemy within 15 feet of the target dealing 1d8 lightning damage. The attuned player can travel through this bolt of lightning as a reaction, landing in a spot within 5 ft of the player on the receiving end of the lightning bolt.
Toc meanwhile finds a ring in amongst the detritus. The ring makes the wearer appear to be dead and rotting.
He also finds an invisible rope. A soul tether. The rope can be tied between two people. It is insubstantial and visible only on the astral plane. The two tethered people can never exist on separate planes from each other. If one is shifted to another plane, the other is dragged with them.
Your search took an hour. Toc renews his See Invisibility spell once again so he can still see Nuzej and Russel.
Mirica meanwhile finds a couple things of interest as well. Though, upon having them identified, she struggles to understand why anyone would make such things. The first is a box of 15 crossbow bolts. These bolts, have round white tips, and when fired, do no damage. Instead, they explode in a puff of white feathers and a live chicken appears. Truly a head scratcher, she is left wondering why kind of deranged experiments these Netheril wizards were into. She also finds a small hand held box. It appears to be a puzzle box with strange ruins and small moving parts. She struggles with a bit but can't get it open. Identifying, it, it appears to be magically sealed. Whatever it contains is held within, but can only be accessed by solving the puzzle of the box. It resets if you fail to do the puzzle correctly and seemingly randomizes the way in. It seems whatever is within is going to have to take some time to find. (Three consecutive Int check, DC 16. 1 hour of puzzling to get each check.)

"Fifteen chickens? My imagination is not wild enough to think of a use for such a device. Unless it's a way to carry food around."The bolts were tackled into the bag unless someone wanted to use it. The box, however, made Mirica smile. "Would be a great toy for that little dryad we left behind. There is something soothing in pressing all these buttons and shifting pieces."She did try to solve the puzzle (Pure Int checks with Guidance: 18 + 4, 11 + 4, 4 + 3) but mostly for fun. Unless Nuzej's and Toc's curiosity or interest in the challenge were high enough to try, she kept the box to herself.
At rest, since we're not resting now..(I don't think).. so after the identification. "I believe this bouncy ball of bizarre material would be best suited for someone who's very strong or very nimble. Mirica I'd like to trade you the comb for the box, it will protect you from lightning, just once though."
"Nonetheless since that hasn't happened yet..... we'll I think for now the quick look around here has been exhausted, let's go back on the path to the next tower."
Once whoever had ultimately been designated the identifier of the group finished examining Xemnez's discovery, the Leonin chuffed as he took it back and continued to study the weight and measure of the blade."A fine blade. A shame it may be wasted in my claws. Do, uhm..." He then turns to look at the others, sizing them up for a moment before shaking his head at the scrawnier folks in favor of offering the blade to Mirica. "What of you? That is a fine axe at your side, but you seem the only other one besides myself capable of properly wielding this blade."
Once he had his answer or lack there of, at Simmal's suggestion, Xemnez simply nodded along in agreement and made ready to head out once more... Once they were less likely to run into the headless mecha on the way out.

"Fifteen chickens sound like a good distraction for a headless golem should we attempt to search its little domain." Thyrius replies to Mirica. "Or nearly infinite rats, for that matter."
To Simmal: "I'm willing the trade the ball for this pair of magical legs. I fit your description of ideal user for the ball and lack any immediate ideas of how to employ these legs. What say you?"
Finally, to Toc: "Unless you or anyone else in the group has a better use for the tether, I would like to selfishly ask if I could use it to make sure my brother and I are not unduly separated. Again, this is a selfish request. I am sure there are better uses for this magnificent item, such as using it on someone who can actually travel through planes."
With Nuzej on the ethereal, Toc takes on all the identification duties...which takes him an hour and a half. The group sits about off in a quiet part of the shops away from the metal golem. When he's done, Toc casts See Invisibility again and checks on Nuzej and Russel who are patiently waiting. (the rest of you can take a short rest if you like)
Toc hands the rope to the brothers. "I would have offered regardless. It seems made for the two of you."
He places the ring on his finger and suddenly appears to be a dead, rotting body. He pulls the ring off. He shrugs and tucks it into a pocket. Meanwhile, the rest of the group does a bit of trading of various objects...

"Thanks, Simaal. Enjoy the puzzle. You sure you do not want a chicken with it?"She gave the puzzling box accepting the only seemingly useful thing in return. If it was a decorative kind of comb, she fixed her hair with it, if not, it could hang from the belt.
Mirica managed to swallow the comment about Toc's ring - as horrifying as the look was, that actually could be useful in some circumstances. She refused the blade, though. "Have my own weapon," she demonstrated Duskcrusher lovingly. "The best a humble servant of light can ever have. But Toc likes to play with blades, maybe he or Russel will have a use for it." "Care for a chicken?"The idea of using flock of chickens for distraction could be good but questionable on the battlefield. Of course, battlefields was not the only source of danger but she was willing to part with the bolts if someone more creative wanted them. "Interesting, a lot of objects here are somehow associated with lightning. Just an observation. So, are we ready for the next tower?"

Horseswaps all around, the group will set out for the next tower. Nuzej patiently watches the group distribute the items to each other, wondering why Jezun could not have supplied him with items more suitable to a wizard. After the bag of rats seems the only item unclaimed, he darkly thinks of possible uses for the item, a researcher running experimental design scenarios on rats. He periodically moves around in a spiral to look for anything that seems to take an interest in the party, anything moving at all apart from the headless automaton, as well as anything moving about on the ethereal. When he returns, he says to Russel, "you're not much of a talker, but I am beginning to suspect that this ethereal exploration is becoming less useful than we had hoped."
To Xemnez, Toc says, "Well, Xemnez, I've been doing some research. It might be possible for me to actually migrate magic from one item to another. We'll need to create a very fine version of the weapon you may want, and there are many restrictions, but, I believe, given some time, this strange magic could be migrated to another form. Radical thinking, I know. But, for another time regardless." He frowns as he looks at the Leonin's face. "Everything ok? Also, while we're at it. Where are we headed next? The observatory, a shorter tower along the way, or...the tower on the outside edge of the city or the big crystal dome?"
