The rotting fabric wrapped undead continue converging on the group, some of them shoving through their allies to try and grasp and pull at the group.
Two of them try and grab at Toc, the last in the line of the group, and pull him back into their masses, while one attempts to push through and shove Jezun back and take his spot.
For the group that had only recently battled multiple Lichs, a magical disturbance, and an squad of Thayan wizards all at one time, this battle was a jarring counterpoint. There were no explosions of energy, no scintillating walls of rainbow light or fiery columns of light....there were no massive tentacles of sparkling energy or weapons unleashing green flames. Instead, this battle was a hushed affair of nothing more than the swoosh of a weapon through the air, the crunch of impact on bone, and the shuffle and movement of dozens of bodies slipping between shelves of the dead.
Thyrius looses his arrow, a slight whistle as it finds the back of an undead. Mirica blinks as chunks of bone spray out of the front of the undead in front of her and plink off of her armor. The creature seems far from dealt with though. She swings her hammer....an artifact capable blasting laser beams of energy and so much more....but here...in this quiet dark battle, simply issues a dampened 'crunch' as it breaks a clavicle on the undead in front of her. The hardy creature seems less than inclined to surrender it's position as it stands blocking her way.
To Xemnez at least, the simplicity of the struggle seemed to have further rekindled the spark of confidence that had become a somewhat forced thing since losing his memory. The horde of undead were no grandiose threat compared to the battle days prior for sure. But the fact remained that they were a challenge of might and endurance that couldn't be brushed aside. The knowledge was enough to bring a small grin to his face as he again carefully swept into a stance more suited for trusts and shorter strokes to compensate for the limited space.
And follow through he would, aiming to take out the knees of the interloping undead before beheading it with a guillotine-like strike. Then should it fall, he'd turn on another with a short chop across its chest while growling out a command for Mirica to get a move on through the gap recently opened up. Afterwards, it would be a simple matter to brace himself for the inevitable pain as he moved in after her to close up the gap. "Keep holding the line over there, Jezun. We're almost ready for the next push!" He shouted encouragingly to the monk.

DC 18 Strength save for prone: 22
The first blow sends the cloth wrapped undead to the ground in a clumsy collapse. But the boney creature is resilient and still moving, its jagged dust covered claws raking out, while it's feet kick spasmically, trying to stop either Xemnez or Mirica from escaping past it. Xemnez, a fierce grin on his face revealing his pointy teeth, despite the lack of any sort of magic, seems to work a different kind of power as his massive blade swings about in the narrows passage as precisely as a thief may wield a dagger. The huge blade lances out and slams into the downed undead, sending bone flying...his blade almost mocking the undead as he slams it into the ground once again, the creatures eye locking on the golden maned Leonin. Then.....with a movement quick and precise, the tip of his blade circles around and lops the head off the undead. The bones clatter to the ground in a pile as the first undead has finally fallen to the groups attacks. Commanding Mirica past the fallen undead, he's quick to follow her as the two quickly advance and form up with the rest of the group.
As he moves away, two of the undead claw wildly at the golden warrior.
#2 Attack on Xemnez: 12 Damage: 11 + 13 necrotic (DC 12 Con save on hit, no immediate affect.)
#6 Attack on Xemnez: 20 Damage: 9 + 11 necrotic (DC 12 Con save on hit, no immediate affect.)
The undead immediately chase him, shuffling awkwardly after him as he keeps Mirica just in front of him. The jostle with each others position as they try to get close enough to take swipes at him.

Simaal's action! (Reminder, the path is now clear, Thyrius is repositioned to just below Jezun, and Mirica and Xemnez are now just to the left of Toc.)
Simaal runs down, as he grabs torches out of his backpack. Basically trying to get to the wonderful tunnel of magic. Hopefully elemental will follow me out... sniff....

Simaal rushes down the passage, around a crook in the path until he can see Tic lounging in a slight opening in the passage. Tic immediately perks up as Simaal emerges from the tunnel. Immediately his clothing seems to wrap about him until it is no longer leather armor but now looks to be a combination of cloth robe and shirt and pants that fit snuggly, as per Simaal's usual look. Tic looks up and mentally Simaal hears him say, "What is it, should I be ready to block the way?"
Sadly, no elemental emerges from the hallway behind Simaal.
The undead with the steel crown watches as the group tries to stream past him. Giving up on trying to grab the elusive elf in front of him, the undead simply starts swinging its fists at Toc in an attempt to down him.
Attack on Toc: 14 Damage: 16 + 27 necrotic.

Meanwhile, a wall of undead near Jezun jostle forward, all attempting to shove the monk back and take his space.
Jezun, resist shoves with DC: 4. Then DC: 4. Then DC: 6.
Toc weaves and dodges, his blade up and pushing blows to the side as he dances with his elven sword singing style...a low and subtle hum under his breath as he moves like liquid before the blows. The last blow finally catches him though, sending him stumbling back against the wall.....his skin blackening and the veins shooting through with darkness. He gasps in pain, but quickly steps back forward, holding the space against the coming horde of undead.
Meanwhile, the undead shoving at Jezun might as well be pushing on a mountain. The monk's feet are rooted to the ground, his body existing in the space as an unmovable rock. (Jezun can't fail, no need to roll.)
Toc makes ready to run, though for a brief moment continues to hold his ground...as he glances at Xemnez and Mirica. (Hold action, when Xemnez/Mirica can move, he will also take a dash action.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jezun takes a steadying breath and turns to the side, parrying the reckless shoves of the wall of undead with one hand (Neo at the end of the first Matrix vibes). He redirects bony limbs away from himself and into the jaws of other undead. He looks at the other living members of his party and says “fly, you dudes.”
He readies a dash action south to the magic corridor once everyone passes him.

The horde continue to push and shove, trying to dislodge both Toc and Jezun from the spots where the two team members try and hold back the press for others.
Shove against Jezun: 19, 20, 19
Shoves against Toc: DC 23, Toc's roll: 18, DC 19, Toc's roll: 22
Meanwhile, the one with the steel ringlet about it's head continues to try and pummel Toc:
Despite his best attempts, and a little bit of luck as the undead trip over each other, Toc struggles against the horde. The steel ringlet wearing one is also continuing to slash at Toc and its claws get another blow in, sinking into Toc side. That, and a well timed push, and one of the undead is able to shove Toc back out of the way and block the passage for Toc, Mirica, and Xemnez.
(Waiting on results of Jezun being shoved.....)
