Jezun the monk runs across the wall as if gravity were facing the wrong way until he's nearly over the Flaming green skull of Shock and then leaps down, falling 40 feet....his staff dancing with lightning arcs down with an extra 40 feet of plummeting energy to slam into skull. The crack should have smashed clean through bone, but instead just sorta of bounces off. A tad surprised, Jezun follows up with another swing which bounces off the Lich's shoulder...and then a heel and knee strike slam into the creature. To Jezun it feels like he's hitting the stuff dummy from the training hall, full of rice and triple stitched canvas. His blows are forceful and true, but the creature just sort of takes them as if they were no more than light slaps.
Jezun dances away from the Lich several feet, looking back at the foe confused.
Auril from where she is hovering glances down at the pesky Leonin.....ichor dripping from her wounds. She reaches out with her claws as if pulling the very air up were a challenge...and from the ground around the room there is a rumbling shake and four of the hammer wielding, faceless, mouth in chest monstrosities crawl out of the very ground itself, one in each corner. The creatures are huge, dwarfing everyone else in the room, even Toc's Guardian. One of them can only be partially seen as it crawls up behind Toc's wall of fire next to Demise.
"If some can push any of the monsters at the mythallar - do it!" Reminded Mirica, while observing new enemies on the ground. It seemed fire did not bother them at all, complicating an already difficult fight. The priestess tried to find the point of equal distance between Jesun and Simaal (one square below Xemnez?) and ran there, on the go getting a holy relic from the pouch. Once in place, she summoned the Holy light, covering every creature fighting for the group:
Holy Aura (Con save 19 when needed) for everyone but Thyrius (too far :( ) . If Elemental and Guardian are counted as "creatures", they get it too.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mirica strides forward. The fire doesn't seem to hurt them too bad, but Mirica does note some scorching on them, so the undead don't seem entirely immune to it. Except the one with the flaming green skull. He seems neither bothered by flame or Jezun's strikes. Pulling on the powerful holy energy of her patron, a hazy glowing nimbus of energy begins coalescing around Mirica. Shock, the nearest enemy, looks at her with a jerk of his head and says, waggling one finger, "Nuuh unh unhhh..." and reacts with a twisting spell to counter her efforts.
Counterspell check vs DC 18 : 11
Toc though is there, as he quickly reacts, with his own spell weaving on his finger tips and canceling out the Lich's spell. As a result, the brilliant light seems to gather all at once with a silent thunderclap of white light, leaving the elemental, Simaal, Mirica, Xemnez, Toc and Jezun all bathed in dim white glowing light.
Shock hisses at the now glowing elf wizard, and then raises his hands into the air. Life itself near the Lich seems to seep out of the air and sharp pain scratches away at those nearby.

In the face of death and despite all recent flagging of self-assuredness before, Xemnez yet stood firm against the life ripping presence of the lich. His golden mane instead appearing to turn briefly white and shimmering as the power of an Ancestor became enkindled and rebuffed the corruption. "If blade alone will not be enough, then may strength of arms prove a better challenge."He stated with deadly calmness, then rushed at Shock aiming to grab ahold of the lich's sternum or ribs. And with eyes that had been by then subsumed by some inner light, he'd begin bodily dragging the creature in a surge of adrenaline over near the Mythallar. At that point he'd let go, only to whip out Nezmos and coolly slam it into the things chest, hoping to at the very least knock it the final few feet necessary into the base of the orb.

The golden Leonin, his mane aglow from the aura of godly holy power strides towards the undead creature of evil who is sucking the life from the very air. Looking very much like a divine agent, he roughly reaches out and grabs the Lich. The Lich looks entirely startled by this turn of events as the Leonin drags the undead, it's bones limbs flailing in panic, inexorably towards the massive sphere. As he nears the sphere, the Lich begins to laugh as if there is an inside joke. Xemnez strides directly at the wall of force dragging his prey. His magical vision shows him exactly where the invisible wall is. He steps down and to the left, avoiding it, and the Lich's laugh abruptly stops, and he begins scrambling to get free....impossible though that may be.
Xemnez, a holy rage powering him tosses the Lich forward releasing the stumbling creature mere feet from the sphere of death. The creature wheels and turns, glancing around, but he has no chance to react before the Leonin's axe is out, the powerful weapon swinging in full force. The blow strikes the creature, and sort of bounces off its bones without doing any damage, except for the force of the blow that threatens slam the creature backwards into the sphere.

Strength Save #2 vs DC 18 : 15 (Legendary Save used if failed)
Somehow the creature manages to stand there and keeps from being tosses backwards into the Mythallar....despite the powerful blows of the glowing Leonin. The blows seem to do no other harm though, despite the powerful magic axe blade.
(OOC: I spent more time than I am willing to admit thinking about what to do in this turn. Nothing seemed "perfect", so I hope this at least gives Xem another shot.)
Impressed by his brother's manhandling of the green-flame lich, Thyrius reminds himself the brothers are at their best when fighting together. Auril may have to wait until the group finds a way to knock her out of the sky. Thyrius has a few tricks in his bag but none of them are specially tailored for pesky flyers. So, for now, toward his brother the black cat goes.
-> Bonus action: click his footwrappings doubling his speed to 70ft.
-> Movement: move 70ft toward Xem/Shock. I am hoping to be in melee with Shock and Xem.
Not wanting Shock to have a chance to get too far from the spot Xem put him in, Thyrius prepares a casting of Lightning Lure should Shock move to a spot that is 15ft away from him (and his brother).
-> Action: ready a casting of Lightning Lure (if the spell's damage becomes relevant, here's a roll: 17)
Simaal stumbles a bit, and he just roars buffing himself up as he slams his javelin against his shield moving up 30 feet (straight up from where he is). "RAAARRGHHH" he yells. Mentally he informs the group about what he finds out about floating Ruin. The air elemental reaches out to hug the skull by slamming into it twice from the side so others still have line of sight to the skull. (Fly 90) Attack: 23 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. Attack: 12 Damage: 11 Interestingly another small hurricane starts forming where the previous one appeared.

Thyrius rushes across the gap, under the floating demi-god whom...for the moment, is not his biggest concern. Just that thought alone is enough to shake Thyrius to his core. Who has he become? He feels his patron's energy flowing within him and...as he's been expected to his whole life, he rushes to assist his younger brother. On the way though he brushes up against something....the invisible wall Toc has mentioned to them. He drags his right hand along the wall as he moves in a blur, until he finds the trailing edge right near his brother, then turns and readies himself to contain the undead with the green flame shrouded skull.
Behind the wall of flame, there's a bright flash of green energy. 10 vs DC 20, 78 force damage.
AoO on Demise: Attack: 22 Damage: 25 force damage

And then the armored Lich, Demise, comes striding out of the wall of fire, a sledge hammer blow from behind the wall landing just near him. He smokes as he emerges through the wall and comes to a stop, glancing around at the battle field.
Simaal meanwhile moves INTO the battlefield, a rare move, and another another air elemental appears in a swirling mist. Demise glances over at Simaal, an unreadable expression behind his helm. His elemental flies up on pounds on the flying Lich, Ruin with several solid thuds.
Toc glances around at the chaos of the battle...trying to figure out if he should be attacking Lich's or the goddess. Then he glances at the huge creature behind him with its terrible maw, but then back at the Lich who has just emerged from the flames and decides something. Drawing his magical rapier, he advances, moving in his familiar dancing attack.
His blade becomes sheathed in thunderous energy as he attacks.
Attack: 19 Damage: 40
Attack: 23 Damage: 19

Auril cackles at the chaos beneath her, and hurdles another ice sphere at Thryius as he races across the ground below her.
Auril Attack on Thyrius: 29 Damage: 36 cold damage.
And then suddenly the group sees other figures emerging from the shadows on the far side of the battlefield. A figure draped in red finery, yet another Lich, with a harsh skull face and sparkling eyes emerges. This one is flanked by two human wizards also draped in red, and two warriors in blackened full plate. Just in the shadow of the Lich you see a familiar dark form. Russel stands there, dagger out, standing next to his master.
Everyone in the room but the two brothers recognizes the finery of these new comers. They are from Thay. And...could it be that the Lich before them is Szass Tam...the legendary Lich leader? He raises his voice as his contingent enters the room. "Thay claims this Mythallar. All others may depart now and relinquish your hold on the sphere. If you do not immediately, you will be given no quarter."

Jezun CON save: 27
Blinking at the lich being pulled away from him and then teleporting away from the mythallar. He sees the huge, armored Demise stride out of the flames toward the party, nods to himself, and darts forward, trying to find a position to the west of the warrior to get some access to weak spots behind the armor for some fingertip strikes, but not before using his staff to try clanging the brute on his helmet. Magic to not, that should bother anyone. This is more of a testing run at them, as he's still confused about his strikes on Shock not working.
Jezun circles around the armored creature. As he watches, the usually accurate and deadly Toc swings his blades, the metal clanging off the armor ineffectively, followed by the hollow thud of his staff clanging home. Jezun swings his staff, the tip deflecting off a plate ineffectively. Jezun is beginning to think these creatures are immune to any attack! But determination settles in and his places the next blow between two plates into a spot in the knee. The staff cracks with blue energy as it strikes, and the armored figure stumbles, clearly hurt...and then vanishes before Jezun's next blow can land.....his perfectly aimed shot at the neck hitting nothing but air as the creature is suddenly gone.
The armored figured appears just a moment later, standing right beside Thyrius and Xemnez, the two brothers. He laughs a hollow laugh within his metallic suit and they each feel the life energy being sucked out of the air around them.
Thyrius and Xemnez, DC 18 Con save, 17 necrotic damage, half on a save.
Meanwhile, from the air Auril seems to direct the Tomb Tappers, as all four begin to move.
One walks out from within the wall of flames, not even smoking, but moving through the flames as if it were born to them and stands near Jezun, but swings it's hammer up at the Lich flying in the air, the tall creature able to reach the Lich with it's sledge hammer.
Attack on Ruin: 14 Damage: 19 Attack on Ruin: 20 Damage: 29
Another meanwhile strides out of the corner towards the nearest target who happens to be Mirica. It swings its sledge hammer at her twice.
Attack on Mirica: 16 Damage: 24. Attack on Mirica: 11 Damage: 17
Meanwhile, at the far end of the room, the flanking warriors are welcomed to the Mythallar room by the other two Tomb Tappers.
Attack on W1: 17 Damage: 22 Attack on W1: 11 Damage: 26
Attack on W2: 14 Damage: 11 Attack on W2: 28 Damage: 25
Though Ruin, the flying Lich is struck once, the TombTapper's blow seems to glance off it ineffectively. Auril looks over waspishly, but remains focused on the creature that made her bleed her own blood.
The Lich in red at the end hisses and says, "Very well, slay them all."

Magic to not, that should bother anyone. This is more of a testing run at them, as he's still confused about his strikes on Shock not working.

Thyrius CON save: 17
I don't think he gets advantage, but just in case, here's a second roll: 14
Mirica's action.
