Hawthorn, you find a rock large enough to use as a club.
A couple of hours later, Jorlan comes up and mutters something to the current guard. That guard leaves, and he promptly unlocks the pen.
"Here's the master key to the manacles," he says, tossing Hawthorn the key. "I'll delay the guards for a few minutes, that's all I can do for you."
(Is the Protection team taking all the NPCs with them, or are some of the quieter ones going with the stealth team? They would go wherever they need to go to escape.)

Vera accepts the shard from Knox and hides it discretely on her person. When Jorlan arrives with the Master Keys, Vera will approach him and say "Thank you for the help. If you're able, try and find us after we've made our escape. The Sword Dancers could use somebody like you for the good fight." before offering her hands in thanks. She'll then unlock herself from the manacles before aiding the others in removing theirs. Once that's been accomplished, she'll quickly gather the group, "Weindigo, Jhazaal & I will find all our gear and meet you at the rendez-vous point before we jump into the into Webs. Any last words?" (she'll pause for a moment and see if anyone speaks up). Assuming there's no last minute change in plans, she'll motion to the others and begin to head out towards the Guard Tower.

Wendigo allows Jorlan to unlock his manacles, rubbing his wrists and neck. After Vera speaks, he nods and follows, attempting to disappear into the shadows, even though literally everyone has darkvision.

When receiving the key, hawthorn says to the drow: May the troubles you receive for our "unfortunate, unexpected escape" be not to much. I dont know about your gods, but the lord on the rack will have an eye on you.
Knox unlocks and removes his maniacal, but keeps a hold of them, even collecting a few of the others that are discarded.
Knox nods his agreement with Hawthorn,
"Yes, may Gond's blessing be upon you for your generosity towards us."
Knox waits with the protectors group, waiting while the stealth group sneaks off, before looking outside for the distraction that Jorlan promised.
Once the distraction becomes apparent, or if the coast appears clear, Knox would wave the group forward and start heading to the prearranged rendezvous.
The derro holds out his own hands to be unlocked, giving the others a knowing look as he smiles at them all. "Be assured my friends, your salvation is come." He would move with the stealth group.

Jhazaal would move silently along with the others, heading for the armory once the distraction was started.
He would cast guidance on himself as he leaves the cell.

Before you all leave, a horrible droning buzz echoes through the cavern, then an inhuman shrieking. Down below in the cavern you see two creatures that look like deformed vultures being chased by what appears to be four enormous mosquitos (Arcana or Nature check to identify them, if you wish). The guards in the guard house across the way curse, and rush out to another part of the compound. Alarm horns begin to blare.
The armory is above the guardhouse just now vacated. It's connected to the slave pen by a rope bridge.

"What in the Hell's was that" Vera whispers to herself as she pauses for a moment. Hoping that this might be a part of the distraction that Jorlan mentioned he'd make, she turned back to the group and gave them a silent nod before continuing on to guards' quarters where she hoped their equipment might be.
