You know that Blibdoolpoolp is a scavenger goddess, meaning that discarded and recored items are worthy offerings. The kuo-toa seem to be looking at your group expectantly, as if you're supposed to make an offering as well.

Jhazaal is turning his head from one side to the other, as they walk towards the statue, trying to see as much as possible of the place as they move along. Once at the statue he would cock his head, running one hand over his bald head as he takes in the humanoid woman statue and all of the dead fish around it. "Seems like a feast is in the offing..." He comments to the others, under his breath though, trying not to be too loud and get the guard's attention. He wonders what the ones that brought them here would do now, since he and his companions were suppose to be some sort of sacrifice...

Following her Goddess' teachings of acceptance for all benevolent teachings and religions, Vera decides to take a few of the items they stole from their Drow captors - a net and a shield - and carefully walks over to the statue placing the items gently in front of it before giving the Kuo-Toa a nod and rejoining the group.

"I realized that the statue over there was for the Sea Mother and that the Kuo-Toa around here seemed to be expecting us to make some sort of offering. Since I didn't recall her being a malevolent Goddess I thought it would be alright. And as far as I can tell these are the ones we are assisting which is why they are neutral to our presence." Vera replies to Knox Turning to Ploopploopeen, "How long would you be able to shelter us before you had to bring us to the others?"
(Should we long rest to recover any used spell slots? Otherwise since we just took a short rest we might as well head there immediately)
"If it is no trouble, a night's rest would be quite welcome." Jhazaal says with a bow to the leader of these people. "Can you give us that long or is that too long for us to remain here?"

"Thank you." Jhazaal tells the leader of these people. He then would look for a place to sit down and relax for a bit, planning on keeping an eye on what the people around here are doing, while the others start to rest.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
You all rest around the rather smelly kuo-toa hovel, and wake up feeling mostly refreshed. Plooploopeen collects you, and brings you towards another group of kuo-toa with his followers in tow. You're loosely bound, although he makes sure they're easily escapable. You're eventually brought into a large area with a grotesque altar.
The idol to Leemooggoogoon the Deep Father consists of a large hide cut roughly in the shape of a manta ray and stretched out on cords between two support poles. A dead, splayed-out manta ray is pinned to the center of the hide. Two dead octopuses are draped across the top, their tentacles pinned and artfully arrayed, their heads tied together and painted with red and blue pigments. The idol reeks of decay, and the broad stone altar below the idol is stained dark with blood.
The archpriest of the Sea Mother steps forward across the span of the altar toward the kuo-toa waiting for him there. “The time has come,” he says, “for us to acknowledge your divine vision and welcome it. I have brought these as offerings.” He gestures toward all of you, standing within a circle of guards behind him. “Will you not accept them?” “You are wise, father,” the younger archpriest replies. “I accept your offering in the name of the Deep Father. May their blood nourish and strengthen him!” A burbling cheer goes up from the surrounding kuo-toa, their fists raised in the air. You see there's another prisoner near the altar, a bound duergar seemingly destined to be the next sacrifice.
The ritual begins, kuo-toa chanting and parading in a large circle around the altar. It's too hard to tell the factions apart completely, but you see Plooploopeen and his son moving towards the altar. His daughter calls for the sacrifices to be brought forward, and several kuo-toa prod you towards a depression around 20 feet away from the altar, with a large bloodstained grate in the center of it. You can hear the gentle lapping of the Darklake through the grate.
When you're brought forward, Plooploopeen sudden strikes his daugter with his sceptre!
Attack: 16 Damage: 5 bludgeoning and 12 lightning
Attack: 23 Damage: 8 bludgeoning and 13 lightning
He then casts spiritual weapon and summons a ghostly trident, which also prods at her.
Attack: 24 Damage: 4 force damage
The altar swiftly devolves into a gory mess of brawling kuo-toa, and it's now completely impossible to tell the factions apart. You manage to throw off your bonds, as do the NPCs still with you, but the only target you can clearly see is the younger archpriest.

His daughter is completely caught off guard by her father's assault, and shudders under the series of vicious blows (takes 54 damage).
Everyone has a surprise round, but she might be dead after the NPCs act.
Sarith shoots her with his crossbow.
Attack: 19 Damage: 8 (Con save if hit: 8)
Jimjar also fires his shortbow.
Attack: 17 Damage: 18
And Bupiddo piles on.
Attack: 23 Damage: 4
She falls unconscious due to the drow poison.
(Going way out of initiative order because there's not really any point in continuing in it at this point. Don't worry, there is more to the encounter :).)
Her father takes the opportunity to strike once more.

As the young archpriest falls directly before the altar, she lets out a final cry of "Leemooggoogoon!"
Then another sound rises above the burbling cries of the kuo-toa. The dark surface of the water farther out bubbles and begins to foam. A thick, oily tentacle bursts forth, followed by another. Then two monstrous heads break the surface, both resembling hideous, angry baboons with wickedly curved tusks. Both heads are attached to a single torso, and the monster’s red eyes burn with bloodlust and madness. The creature rising from the Darklake must stand thirty feet tall or more, with water cascading down its back and shoulders. Upon reaching its full height, the great demon throws back both its heads and roars!
(You can make a religion, history or arcana check to attempt to identify it. I also need a Charisma saving throw from all the PCs.)
Bupiddo vanishes in the confusion, somehow darting under a pair of fighting kuo-toa.

Wendigo wrinkles his nose and doesn't offer anything.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Knox watches everything, but takes no actions, not getting the hint.
Knox speaks quietly to Vera,
"What is going on here, why did you place the shield and net over by the strange construction? When are we supposed to kill the hostile Kuo-Toa?"
Knox looks around at the various Kuo-Toa,
"Which ones are the hostile ones, they all appear agreeable as far as I can tell?"
"Although I am not overly familiar with this species facial patterns, so I cannot be sure."

The kuo-toa nod approvingly at Vera's action. They seem to be willing to let you just make one offering as a group.
Ploopploopeen brings you to a small hovel near the back of the shrine.
"Now, do you wish to rest up before we take on my daughter? Or is there anything else you require?"
