The wall continues to move towards Vera, and a rocky looking tentacle reaches for her.

(Miles is up first, no one else yet)

The chef holds his hands to his ears, then shrieks defiantly, "Ye'll never get my secret recipe!"  Drawing his rolling pin and lashing out blindly, his inchoate swings get frightfully close to Knox!

Rolling Pin:  Attack: 19 Damage: 9

Knox lets out a metallic grunt, as the rolling pin he wasn't expecting, connects with his side.

Jhazaal casts summon beast Having an earth-based beast appear and then attack the wall-thing.

Attack: 25 Damage: 13

jhazaal then uses his bonus action to attempt to hide: 10

When the party began to hear the noises up ahead in the distance, she swore she recognized them.  As soon as they turned the corner into another tunnel, she was stunned to see her former comrades standing alive before her.  A second later, she screamed out a futile warning as she watched them be ambushed and killed by the Drow a second time; each of them calling out her name as they fell.  Trapped in a nightmare, helpless and seemingly rooted in place, she crotched on the ground as she buried her head into her knees and wept.

Knox looks down at the angry halfling.

"Watch where you swing that my small companion, not everyone is so durable."

Miles is most definitely not himself.  He seems extremely paranoid and enraged, probably set on edge by the screams.

Knox stand motionless for moment, considering his small companion, before deciding on a course of action.

Making a gesture with his hand and uttering an arcane word, Knox summons a spectral Hammer in the air next to the creature that appears likely to be responsible for the maledictions that afflict his companions.

The Hammer swings down through the air attempting to strike the creature.

Knox pulls out his mace and readies himself to defend against further possible attacks from the angry cook.

(Wendigo is up)

Wendigo rushes towards the wall thing and strikes at it with a flurry of axe blows.

Attack: 20 Damage: 7

Dread Ambusher Attack: 13 Damage: 9

BA Attack: 22 Damage: 4

Sarith fires at the wall.

Attack: 18 Damage: 8

Eldeth does as well.

Attack: 18 Damage: 5

And Jimjar:

Attack: 20 Damage: 19

The wall creature is pinned to the wall, dead.  It seems to be some odd sort of octopus.

Paquinal dodges.

(Miles is up, still in initiative bc of him)

Miles:

As the screams continue, Miles thrashes around dangerously, now lashing out at the nearest person with his rolling pin (probably still Knox), yelling at the incoherent voices in the distance, "Eleven herbs and spices, my a$$!"

Rolling pin attack with Disadvantage:  Attack: 16 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Vera continues to weep on the ground oblivious to everything happening around her

Knox, ready this time, takes Miles' blow on his shield safely.

"Please, Miles, calm yourself, no one is trying to steal anything from you."

The Hammer floats back towards Knox, while Knox keeps his attention on Miles.

(Do we know how long Vera is incapacitated for?  I'm assuming she still is)

 (Yes, one would hope that we get a new save at some point).

(Unfortunately, no save.  This particular mechanic is quite unforgiving.  Vera is still incapacitated (a little less than 4 more minutes).)
