Cragmaw Castle: Gundren Rockseeker was captured by goblins on the Triboar Trail under the orders of the “Black Spider.” He and his map to Wave Echo Cave were taken to a goblin stronghold in the Sindaein Wood named Cragmaw Castle, ruled by the chieftain King Grol. Reidoth the Druid: Reitoh is a royal agent who's been closely monitoring the goblin crisis, sending back intel regarding their migration paths. Recently he's gone completely silent. Maglath and Lyre are tasked with finding out what happened to him. Reward: to be determined upon completion.

I was thinking that Jeb and Lyre might be better suited for quietly scouting the manor and that the other three would be able to make a lot of noise about heading north to look for orcs or hobgoblins.
Okay, so I believe the previous plan was to send Maglath and Lyre north and go around to the tunnel, while the rest go directly to the tunnel. However, a new plan is now on the table: Jeb and Lyre scout the mansion, while the rest swing north to the tunnel. Is there any objections to this new plan?

Scouting is good. Sorry I missed the whole scouting angle. Yes, the two rogues scouting ahead sounds good. The other three can drop comments about the hobgoblins or orcs to sow confusion to cover their leaving the town.
Hey guys. Just wanted to say I’m enjoying being part of this group.
Probably over thinking things a bit, but have had a couple of campaigns die out in the past few weeks and it feels like I’ve been the last one left both times. Which has me wondering if I might be part of the problem.
So want to say that if I’m stepping on any toes or detracting from anyone else’s enjoyment please let me know (here or PM) - I have thick skin.
No, you are an amazing player! The fact that you are still on means you have the commitment to see through a game.
One of our former players was in that one game with you. He had previously made some complaints regarding the DM- I think that may be why that certain one had came to a halt.

Hey Bizarre - your post, even though you put it up 20 minutes before mine, for some reason didn't show up for me until just now. So Maglath was responding to Lyre's retelling. Maybe Maglath just happened to be standing too close to Jeb.

Thanks for the summary, Razor! It helps!
Would Jeb's old leather armor fit John?
I don't think John has proficiency in light armor...

Ahh... that's true. Good point.
Where are you guys going next? You know there is a secret tunnel, but not it's exact location.

It would be best to confirm the location with Carp first then.

I was under the impression Lyre and Jeb(?) would scout the mansion and meet up with the rest of the group before a plan of action would be taken.
That could work as well.

From my experience, the greatest cause of campaign death is inactivity—mostly on the part of the DM. You've got nothing to worry about.

Also, sorry if I haven't been as active lately. School year started back up and life got crazier. I should be more active once I get settled in.

Nope, not at all. Both you and PlumPie are settling in great and adding to the story in interesting ways.
It's always a little odd to work new players in; but I think you guys and Razor did a great job of working you guys into the story pretty seamlessly.
As a plus, I've never played with a Kenku character before and am enjoying PlumPie's take on it.
Thanks everyone. And thanks for making room for us.
And yeah, Lyre is pretty cool.
No worries, it’s normal for some campaigns to die out, you’re a fun player to play with.
