After evading the snapping jaws inches from his face, Jeb quickly climbs the rest of the way up the chimney into the room. Once there he moves to the right pillar to flank the wolf and benefit from cover for any missiles directed their way.
Once in position, Jeb again reaches out with his mind to manipulate fate, cursing and weakening the wolf. He then thrusts his rapier at the beast caught between the agile monk and the gambler.
Bonus Action: Jeb casts Hex on the wolf. He applies disadvantage to its strength checks.
Action: Jeb attacks the wolf with his rapier. Attack - 25, Damage - 11, Sneak Damage - 1
The attack is sudden and brutal. Sharloon smacks the wolf with his staff, while Jeb flanks it and uses the distraction to completely skewer it in half with a single thrust of his rapier, the mangy creature dying instantly.
"Ripper, no!" Klarg's face is contorted in rage as his pet wolf dies in front of him. Meanwhile, Arikon's spell knocks out the goblin cooks, though Klarg and the woman are unaffected. John peeks his head out of the shaft, equally angry at the sight of the goblins, and aims his crossbow at the bugbear, waiting for Klarg to act.
(Jeb, Sharloon, and Arikon have climbed out. John and Zee, are at the top of the shaft, Murmen below them. Those three will have to wait until the next round to exit the shaft, given the three on top makes space for them. Murmen is up).

(You rolled a d20 for damage here, and both the rapier and the sneak attack damage would have doubled. And the hex damage, for that matter.)
Murmen will curse as someone's foot lands on his helmet, then shake himself and begin softly chanting in Dwarvish. Sharloon, Jeb and Murmen himself all begin glowing with a sullen, molten light.

Zee and Murmen call upon their gods to both support and distract their enemies, though Zee's spell seems to be shrugged off by Klarg. While Zee makes a perfect imitation of Yeemik, Klarg is so enraged that the voice has no effect on him. He immediately runs for Jeb, yelling with his morningstar raised. (This triggers John's crossbow shot).
"You're going to pay for that! I'll crush your bones!"
Klarg swings his enormous weapon at Jeb, but luckily misses.Meanwhile, the scarlet woman glances towards the exit, and then back at the battle taking place. She immediately runs, dashing out of the room, leaving only Klarg to fight the six of you.

Jeb desperately dodges away from the enraged bugbears attack. The descending morningstar sends shards of rock flying from the impact of the missed strike. Jeb dances in as Klarg readies for a second strike.
Jeb once again controls Fate around him. His mind reaches out to increase the likelihood of him striking Klarg and increasing his damage potential. He deftly thrusts his rapier into Klargs left side, as the bugbear is momentarily exposed as he prepares to strike Jeb down once more. Jeb is thankful once more that the deadly monk is flanking this dangerous enemy.
Bonus Action: Jeb moves Hex from Ripper to Klarg. He applies disadvantage to his wisdom checks.
Action: Jeb attacks Klarg with his rapier.

After he had put two of the goblins to sleep, Arikon quickly stepped away from the shaft so the others, who were still in it, could exit freely. He moved along the wall to his right l, until he reached a suitable flanking position. (Arikon uses Disengage to move along the wall to his right)
"Surrender or die!", he exclaimed. "Yeemik and the others betrayed you!" The young sorcerer tried to unsettle him. If they managed to take him alive, they would have some leverage in the case Yeemik tried something. (intimidation23)

“Surrender or die!” Arikon shouted. Sharloon pivoted against the rock formation cover spinning his blessed staff with an audible whirling. Either Klarg would submit or Klarg would be brought low.
OOC: Sharloon will ready/hold his attack from the cover of the pillar until Klarg responds. If he surrenders then Sharloon will begin to bind his arms tightly behind his back with the loops circling up around his neck as well. The more he pulls or strains the more he cuts off his own air, etc. If Klarg does not immediately surrender Sharloon will strike with staff two hand attack and a bonus action unarmed strike.
Staff attack 16 if hit then 11 damage
Bonus unarmed kick/elbow strike attack 24 If hit then 6 damage
Jeb masterfully ripostes the bugbear’s Morningstar, thrusting his rapier into Klarg’s side. In an instant, Klarg’s expression turns from rage into fear, as he is immediately on the brink of death. Though Arikon shouts for him to surrender, he does no such thing. He Disengages and runs for the stairs. However, this triggers Sharloon’s readied attack. Sharloon smashes him on the back of his head, and Klarg collapses on the floor. He stares at the body of his pet wolf as his life fades away.
His last words: “Ripper, I’ll be with you soon,”
In the span of twelve seconds, Klarg is dead. Two goblins lie sleeping in the cave, while the scarlet woman seems to have escaped. The empty throne of crates among the looted provisions and treasure is all that remains of the once fierce leader.
As the dust settles, you hear Goblin voices from the north, while Murmen and Zee climb out of the shaft. Otherwise, you are free to investigate and search the room.

Jeb shrugs his shoulder at Murmen. He whispers, "I guess bind them for now.” Jeb then moves to the entrance that the Scarlet Woman fled through. He stays to the shadows thrown by the cook fire. He peeks out to see if the goblins are gathering to storm the room.
Only seconds after Arikon had uttered his threat Klarg lay dead in the ground in front of them. So much for leverage against Yeemik. For what it's worth, they had two new captives. "I agree, let's bind them.", he said eagerly. "We should also try to prepare something in case Yeemik won't uphold our deal."
He didn't trust those goblins one bit and expected their betrayal.
While Arikon and Murmen bind the sleeping goblins, Jeb moves to the stairs at the north and peeks through the doorway. It's dark though, but the dim light from the cooking fire allows him to see that this cavern is half-filled with two large pools of water. A narrow waterfall high in the eastern wall feeds the pool, which drains out the western end of the chamber to form the stream that flows out of the cave mouth below.
Despite the sound of running water, Jeb can also hear some movement to the west. Something is being dragged along the stone floor, slowly, while the pitter-patter of small feet echoes through the cave.
Just as Arikon and Murmen finish tying up the goblins, they wake up. Unlike before, they make no move to escape their bonds and just stare at Klarg's corpse, stupefied. It's obvious that they are incredibly scared of you, considering what you just did to their leader.
"Don't worry. Your leader Yeemik told us to kill Klarg. We weren't sure if you knew about it. Tied you up to be safe." Zee shrugs. " If Yeemik keep his word, we keep ours." Zee then looks to the others and nods. "I bet that's him and his soldiers now, come to cheer for us and bring our captured comrade." He scoff as he readies himself.

Jeb moves to the group to relay what he observed in the adjacent room and the sounds of something being drug towards them. He whispers, "We have done what Yeemik asked and now must await to see if he keeps his word or if the suspected betrayal occurs." Jeb looks to the others and continues, "I suspect he will attempt to negotiate from a position of power using Sildar as a point of leverage to try and force us to surrender our weapons. Doing so would elevate his standing with his fellows. Slay or cow those who killed the big boss and you become the big boss. We must be ready and not hesitate if it gets to that point."

Zee will then search the room for anything that looks important. Anything paper as that would be out of place here in a goblin/bugbear cave and may have commands or something matching what Yeemik told them. (Investigation/Perception: 7/10 )
